Been with this D rated company over a year now, just recently they've taken it upon themselves to take my payments automatically when I've never given them permission to do so !!!! Every 2 weeks when I pay with my other card they've already tried early in the wee morning hours to take Auot pay from my Chime card , I only use mine every other payment, the other card used , ****** every other is my husband's, my chime card is the one in question .... every time ****** says you aren't signed up for auto pay , According to the text messages I receive from them every 2 weeks it says I'm enrolled in auto pay But I never did!! And when I try to speak about it she interrupts over me every single time I'm reading back to her what the text says she's yelling over me you aren't signed up I have proof , please help there's another issue with them I previously filed a complaint 3 other times or more with you BBB, and never heard back from you at all!!!!! When we were looking to purchase a car at B&G, my husband specifically asked if the car was salvaged and the sales persons, I believe her name was *******, advised us the vehicle title is not a salvage title and it has passed the requirement from ****************** of transportation to sell it as a used vehicle and that we have a 3 year warranty on it. We purchased a 2019 ****** Sentra in Sept 2023 and this past May (2024), my daughter noticed that the car was having a difficult time accelerating and then it finally did not work at all, the car was towed to their *************** location and it took them 3 weeks to tell me what was wrong even when I had made several follow up calls to find the status on the vehicle. That was when they advised me that the car need a NEW TRANSMISSION! I was shocked as I was told everything had passed AZ inspection! A few days had passed and we noticed oil was leaking from the car, so we brought the car to their ************ location to have it fixed and have an oil change, it took them over a week to fix it! Fast forward to June (2024), the car does not start but the car has power, I had the car towed again (!), I was called a week later and was told it was the break sensor that was malfunctioning and it would not let the push start button to work. We picked up the car and again noticed the car was leaking. Brought the car back to have it fixed and while driving it the ************ location, the dash displayed "Sensor Malfunction" errors, which I told the gentleman who worked in the service office and to have an oil change since they never did it the when we requested it a second time. Now, it is August (2024) and the car will not start again! Called B&G to get a copy of the certificate that says it passed all inspection and I keep getting the run around and was told that *******, the ************** Manager will call me back. I am extremely frustrated at this situation. I wish I could get my money back.Business Response

When we sale our vehicles we display in three different documents that our cars are RESTORED SALVAGE title. Our customers have to sign before we can proceed to the next page. We must display that for sure. For the transmission, we do offer our warranty of ***** miles or 3 years, whatever comes first. This means our customers don't have to pay for repairs and no excuse to not pay for car payment. We would never denied repairs for the vehicle. We can repair the vehicle for sure if the car is still under warranty.Initial Complaint

We purchased a car and was told that all recalls have been performed and on July 13th our engine though a rod that destroyed the engine block and oil pan. The reason for this was a part that was recalled in 2019. We bought the car in 2022. We are questing that they wipe the remainder of our loan are retrieve the car or replace the damaged items. We have tried to resolve this issue with the company but they keep saying they will call us back and never do. All of our cars are Restored salvage titles. We put our vehicles through the Level 3 inspection through the state of ******* if title is still a Salvage title. Before the level 3 inspection, we make sure we inspect the airbags of the vehicle, seatbelts and all safety systems. What we don't do is check for recalls. In these cases, the manufacturer is responsible to let the owner know of any recalls on their vehicles. They are the ones to send a notice to the new owners so they can take the cars to them. Now, we sell our cars with a warranty of ****** miles or 2 years whatever comes first. If the car still has warranty, we can always fix the car or if warranty is over, we will always help our customers with adding repairs to their loan if they still qualify. If they don't qualify and customers have a low balance, we usually offer a trade in.Initial Complaint

Purchased car under fraud 1-20-24 car broke down July 4th 2024 didnt pick up car by tow still under warranty charging for tow did not pick up car til 9th July 2024 couldnt get anyone to update on progress of car couldnt get any information. Its July 19th hot Sun cant get loaner. Finally went there today to check on car transmission went when broke down. They first said cant find key to car using there own tow charging over 200 for tow. Then miraculously pulled car out claiming its repaired putting in new fuel pump which it was transmission. Said it was repaired but couldnt get any of this til we showed up with my nephew bringing us way out there from my home. Pull out lot 6 miles down road it went into same thing it was doing they never touched the car. We turned around to try an make it back to car dealer almost didnt. The car hadnt been touched Im 74 my wife 68 we would have been stranded my nephew left. We would have to had get their tow truck again at 200 an stranded on heat on highway. This is not at all everything I have went through with these people its a horrific horrible experience I have bought many cars in my day but these people need to be shown fraud an lies an run around no courtesy at all to customers are not right. Every car at our lot comes with a warranty of ****** mile or 3 years, this warranty covers every mechanical issues. We do not cover any tows or loaners cars. We do let our customers know this by the time of sale. Now, we did offer a tow, which we have to hire from a third party, they have their own schedule and pick-**** we don't have control over that. We do let the customer know they will have to pay for it and we can add the towing fees to their biweekly payments. About the loaners we don't have to provide one since is not under the warranty, if we have one available, we will provide, is not a must but is a courtesy. Now on the mechanical issues they are all included on the warranty, meaning customers dont have to pay for it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2016 **** focus from B&G Auto sales in ******* in September of 2022. Ive had nothing but problems with this car since the day I left the lot. It ranges from - constant oil changes (getting an oil change then the light turning back on the next day)-replacing driver side struts twice now.- now having to replace the transmission for the second time in 7 months. On top of countless other issues.They are trying to have me pay almost $3,000 for a used transmission but mind you they replaced it the first time in October and did not disclose the transmission would be used nor did they inform me of any type of warranty whatsoever. If they would have told me they were putting in a used transmission, I would have opted in to purchase a new one so that I dont encounter this same issue again but I was never given that option. I refuse to keep throwing money into this car and I refuse to give them $3,000 when this same issue could potentially happen in another 6 months. I have lost my job due to lack of transportation, and my partner is spending hundreds of dollars in **** rides just so he can make it to work as well. This business is selling lemons and so many other people are going through the same issues as I am, theres reviews on yelp as well! I would like a solution where I receive all of my money back as well as b&g pay off the remaining balance of my loan.Business Response

We did receive this car at our Phoenix Location. Yes, we sell our cars with a warranty of ****** miles or 2 years whatever come first. I remember I spoke to her directly, Yes, we replaced the transmission, and it came out bad. I did let ******* that she had excided the miles and the car was no longer under warranty. I came up to a solution to cover a little more than half of the repairs, she would only pay half of the cost of parts, we will not charge for labor. I told her she would only pay $1400, and we can finance it, $50 extra payment on top of her regular payment. We also offer a loaner car for the mean time. She said she will think about it and left. I have had my car for going on 5 months. My car was overheating constantly, my A/C does not work it is 95 degrees outside and I have a baby! I pay almost $***** a MONTH for a car that doesnt run well and the a/c doesnt work! I have 2 weeks taking my car in to the ************* location and it wasnt fixed I had to go back 4 times just for it not not be fixed. I got a supervisors number her name Is ******* she said she would send a mobile mechanic to look and fix my vehicle, he said he would go get the parts and never returned. Then she messaged me the next morning, telling me that he blocked her. So that she would send someone else once he done with the 3 oil changes he had for the day, she latter messages me to tell me my car AGAIN wouldnt be fixed till tomorrow. This is very frustrating. I asked for her supervisor and she states that she is the only supervisor and there is nobody above her. I am now not knowing if the car I pay thats almost ***** a month for will be fixed or will they mess something up while fixing the car. I just want to speak to someone that can help me theres no reason people keep giving me the run around about my vehicle. This last time I paid I didnt pay on time I had forgot it was a couple hours late and my car got turned off that they are quick to do but to solve someones issue they are not 2 weeks I been waiting! This vehicle repairs came to my attention when I was checking all customers when I was visiting the **********************. I noticed this car was back for the 3rd time with the same issue. The A/C not working. I didn't want to bring the customer back to the location because we were experiencing a high volume of car waiting to be serviced. I decided to call ***************************, I apologized and wanted to be out of my way to give her a better service by sending a mobile mechanic. We had a mobile mechanic go to her house, yes, he never came back after diagnosing her car. This was very embarrassing to our company of course. I was able to communicate to one of our loyal mobile mechanics and asked for a favor to go and fix her car. He fixes cars for another dealer we have. He told me he was a little busy that day, but he said he will make a time to go and check her car. He called me saying the A/C compressor, so I let ******** know what was going on and that we would get the part till next day and I would let her know when mechanic is back to her house. Usually, we don't have control of parts delivery. ******** wasn't happy when I told her we would get the compressor next day. She wanted me to promise her the car will be fixed by next day before 9am, this was unreal. I was clear and told her I would not promise that because we don't have control of parts delivery, I was pushing every vendor to deliver the part asap, no one was able to deliver the same day. One of the venders was able to deliver the very next day. I only knew the compressor will get there the next day. When I got the compressor on hand, I called ******* with the good news she told me she left on a trip and when would be back on Monday. I let her know that now she would have to call to make an appt at the service center. I moved everyone and all vendors for nothing. I pay biweekly for my car nite from B&G Auto sales and I pay a day or two.early all the time. I was ending my shift at work to pick up my kids from daycare and my car wouldn't start I thought I needed a jump so after 35 minutes of finding coworkers to jump my car it still wouldn't start. Then one of my coworkers came out and said it's not your battery ,man you didn't pay your car , they shut it off and everyone was laughing. I called b&g Auto sales , and said my car is not starting, they said they shut it off because they didn't have my driver's license. I said they took a copy of my license and how would I get the car that I had for a month without my license, they told me to start my car, then it started I was very upset and embarrassed that they shut my car off. When I make all my payments on time and demanded to speak with the manager they hung up on me. And I called and texted them 3 more times then they texted me a number that was just voicemail. My 6 yr old daughter was crying and worried that I abandoned her because I wasn't there to pick her up on time. I am Mommy and Daddy to my little ones, because I won a custody battle. I was humiliated and embarrassed for them shutting my car off for no reason. My driver's license is on file, because I had to provide it to get my car. I want to take legal action. We have about 30 days for all of our cars to get registered. We tried several times and several agents to contact ***************************** but there was no success. Customer would not answer. We left voice messages and wouldn't get call backs. When we sent paperwork to MVD they could only find him with an old AZ Driver's License, they needed to verify the name which was spelled wrong. We realized the name was spelled wrong and realized we had no DL on files. We had no success with customer communication, so Desert Finance decided to shut off vehicle to get his attention. As soon as he called and we asked for Driver's license and he sent it, Desert Finance was able to turn the car back on. Car is registered now, and customer had a current registration and plates. I do apologize for the inconvenience. We have a lot of customers, and we usually don't provide loaner cars. Sometimes we try to go the extra mile and help customers with a car to have them happy, unfraternally there are customers that don't appreciate it and return cars dirty, crashed, damage, smelling bad.... This must be one of does times where we needed a loaner fast and they forgot to check the car. We are thinking of just removing the rental cars to avoid this type of issues.Initial Complaint

How many **mplaints about this *************** finance **mpany need to be filed before someone does something it's xmas eve my car payment was made online and yet my car won't start no answer by anyone becsuse holiday now I'm still stranded at grocery store it's COLD OUT HERE and I hsve to get to my family for Christmas. Th r e nothing I can add that hadn't already been said about this **mpany I took my car in under warranty fit tires soon after it starts over heating I open hood n see they broke the lines off air filter box n why are my fan wires all dusvinndvted from fan. Bevsuse your service department swapped out my fan. It's over 120 degrees in summer n the warranty is over yet your mechanics jacked my car up in first place I can't afford to miss days at work while I bring car in so u can destroy it even more. The simple fact that I have made several car payments online and the car doesn't turn on like you say it will has **st me so much Money from missing work or being late yet you crooks and your family ran finance and tow **mpany never **mpensate anything for negligence or miss hap or Glitch in your systems I'm still expected to paid 230 every two weeks regardless if my car won't turn on. When signing the contract we explain that if on the due date there's no payment the system automatically shuts off the vehicle by midnight. ****** should already know due to constantly being late and. On 12/23/2023 her payments was due and we didn't received a payment until 12/24/2023. The sales person was nice but lied to me about the first payment. When I called about it, the girl on the phone did not even allow me to talk. She just told me to call a number when I got this rude lady by the name of ******* on the phone. She started talking over me and yelling, and would not allow me to talk. She then hung up on me. She had the guts to call me back just to yell at me and hang up on me again. Before she hung up on me, she told me that if I was to call that we're gonna automatically transfer the call to her and she is the only person I can talk to you. I would never buy a car from this place again. They are very rude and they lied to you. Everybody there that was by my car even one lady that had excellent credit cannot buy a car for 500 down it was higher than that. This company is a scam, unethical and illegal. on top of it all, my radiator has some type of sludge in it. It keeps overheating, and I keep on being told to call the service department. The service department will not answer any questions and will not help me whatsoever. I called a service manager named ******* who was very rude. I asked to speak to her manager and she stated that she was the owner and I can not speak to anyone else. I know for a fact that she is not the owner. I was able to speak to ******* on 11/16/2023 For the first time. ******* purchased the vehicle on 5/12/2023. All of our vehicles come with a warranty of 24k miles or two year, meaning they don't have to pay for any repairs. Since 5/12/2023 we haven't received any complaints or we haven't serviced this vehicle. Now ******* is complaining that we sold this vehicle with issues and with a bad radiator. He mentioned he's been taking this car to another mechanic and they told him we did something to his car. I let ******* know we are more than happy to help. We don't include ************** or loaner cars with our warranty, but I offer him all this as a courtesy. He started being rude and asking if we would pay for gas and Uber/lyft. I was never told that the car had a salvage title until I signed the contract. Also, the salesperson did not give me time to read the contract. I was rushed. I have asked several times for the contract and I have never received it. Per my mechanic and other mechanics, the car had some work to the head gasket and caused sludge in the radiator. This caused the car to overheat and caused me to miss allot of work. While working on the car, the mechanic noticed that the front end of the car and the bottom plate was just barely connected and the overflow hose needed to be replaced because of the engine issue. The mechanic also noticed that there were some hoses that were not clamped. All of the mechanical issues is due because the mechanics that B&G Auto are not certified nor experienced. I did talk to Representatives from Blue Key and B&G Auto. All I got was rude people and on person that refused to help. I did find many revies with the same issues as what I have had with B&G Auto. All I want is a working vehicle whish is what I paid for.Business Response

I have talked to the company and explained that I do not trust the mechanics that are not certified mechanics. legally a warranty can not be filled if the mechanics are not certified. I did take the car to a certified mechanic and they stated that the car shroud have never been sold in the condition that it was sold. I still have yet to receive my contract, it has not been addressed about how I have been treated by the salesperson and the management and the fact that I was not told that the car has a savaged title until after i got the car.
