    In 2019 I had a new AC unit installed for $2400. by AJ'S Heating and cooling in ******, **. The tech recommended a unit that turned out to be too small. He also said we needed 30 amps when we needed 50.We were not given a receipt or a copy of the 4 year warranty. After 3 years the compressor blew up. We explained to the rep that we just wanted to get the compressor and have the work done by someone else. She said if we wanted to do that then we would have to contact the manufacturer ourselves. If we wanted them to do the job it would be #****. The name brand was not on the unit and she refused to look it up for us. So we decided to use them even though we were not pleased with their work. The rep said," No they would not do the job because we were unreasonable and wanted to use uncertified techs". This was not true. She said we were yelling and she was the one yelling. We were not. We just wondered why a @2400 job cost !600 to repair with a warranty. We have ni way of contacting the manufacturer because the name is not on the unit. As I stated she refused to look up the job.
