We lost all power to our house on a Sunday. We thought we just needed the main breaker replaced but needed an electrician to do it. ****** came out and told us he couldnt even get the main out and the whole panel had been arcing and half the panel was dead. Said we needed to replace the whole panel which would cost us $9k. They were to call us the next morning to do all the financing. Called another small business electrician who came out first thing this morning and took out the main breaker and said there is no sign of arcing and the only thing needed done is the main breaker replaced. We told him what they were going to charge us and he said 9k is way too high for a new one if it was needed. We still havent gotten a call from their office. They were taking advantage of our emergency situation to scam us. SO glad we got a second opinion!

I would leave zero stars if possible. They quoted my elderly mom $3500 to fix her AC. I told her to get a second opinion. Turns out they completely lied about the issue, or simply didnt know what they were doing!! Turns out the part is under warranty and was replaced by an honest company for $150.

Promised me they were performing a soft credit check and then did a hard inquiry. I reached out and they did nothing. Like others have warned, frauds and liars

I got completely ripped off! ****** came because one of our ac units was not coming on. Right when he showed up I told him that I think a wire may be miss-placed on the thermostat. He took a look and said well there is a wire in an odd spot. He then went searching for an hour or so and told me we needed to pay $300 to run new wiring. I agreed although I felt like it was a total rip off and he cut back the wires stripped them and put them back in and the unit still did not come back on. So he said since it didnt work I wouldnt be charged, he then went to diagnose the unit and through it may be the electrical board on the unit. It was getting late so he left and said he would come back the following week. I didnt hear from him or his office so I called the office 4 days later and they said he was scheduled to show up at noon the next day. Well he showed up at 8am. He ran a few more tests then went back to the thermostat and changed the location of the odd wire (what I said right when he showed up the first time) then insisted that I needed to pay the $300 for stripping the wires. It was an absolute joke and I got completely ripped off. I am ******. Then he said he was going to do a tune up on all three of our systems for $49 each system. So after a few hours he asked if we could sit down and talk through his findings. He showed me all his pictures and all the things he recommended fixing. So I asked him, What exactly did you tune up? He said, well I didnt tune anything I just diagnosed your systems so you know what needs to be fixed. Are you kidding me??? Thats not a tune up thats a diagnosis. I was so fed up I paid another $150 to get him out of my house and move on. My wife is ****** I paid these guys anything, because all they did was rip us off. Stay away from this company, they are scam artists and do nothing. You wont get a tune up and you will hit charged for work you didnt actually need. I want a refund, but scam artists never give you a refund

To Whom It May ********* friend of mine recently had his roof top AC replaced. It cost him $7,500. It was a Carrier AC/Heat Pump four-ton unit, just like the one you installed on my house, invoice #XXXXXX April 2023, for a cost of $12,769. I called his contractor and was given a price quote of $7,500 same cost that my friend paid for his unit. I called another contractor and was given a price quote of $7,200. Nine years ago, Ace Home Services replaced my AC unit and I thought that customer loyalty would mean something and I would be given at least a competitive price. I was totally mistaken and have been taken advantage of. I am requesting a refund of $5,300 for being greatly overcharged. They have charged me almost double what other businesses are charging for the same unit installed. They don't deserve any stars. Only giving one star because the web site requires at least one star.

Had a Kohler sink faucet with a pull-out hose that had a pin-hole leak. I called ******, they sent the part (free - thanks ******!). When part got here, went to Ace Home Services website and asked for quote for part install, and left my contact info. A few hours later, received a call back saying they would be out next day, but that there is a $59 service call / diagnostic fee that would be applied if *** was subsequently chosen to do the work. (no free quotes)Had area under sink emptied out ready for work before ******* arrived. Plumber from *** was out next morning as told, very professional, well dressed, good manners, said it was actually an easy job, and that I could probably do it myself if I wanted. I told him to go ahead and give me a quote.Quote was for $325. ouch.Gave plumber go-ahead to fix. He had a few issues getting it installed. After about 10 minutes of his effort, I suggested trying WD-40, which he ultimately used to loosen the old hose's collet. After a few more minutes effort, old hose came loose. After a few more minutes, new hose was in and working. Total effort was about a half hour's work.Plumber got authorization to reduce bill $100 (so my out of pocket was $225). less ouch.Anyway, wanted to log my experience in case anyone has similar plumbing work and wants a ballpark idea of company abilities/costs.Giving business a 3 out of 5 star rating because $225 per half-hour of work is high pay (maybe I should become a plumber! - LOL)...* * *

A leak in my customer shut off valve in my irrigation box was discovered by a ******** city worker today. He told me to call a plumber to replace it so of course I called Ace Home Services. *********************** was dispatched out to fix my problem. He immediately determined what needed to be done, formed a plan of action and replaced both valves in a timely manner. I was very impressed with *****'s work, he should be highly commended by his superiors.

I had issues from my ac unit from the beginning. May of 2023. A major component broke and leaked oil into the bottom of the unit . The part was replaced but the unit was not cleaned properly. The annual cleaning /tune up was not done properly or on time. The company continually pushed my tune up to latter in the year. This September of 2022. The new technician advised me of the poor maintenance from previous technicians. The oil caused damage, drainage issues, mold in the unit and rusting. I contacted the company with this and had no reply other than a large bill to repair or replace the unit.To this date I still have no response to the damage and the warranty is about to run out. I would do better research for high price equipment and the company next time.
