  12/21/22 *********************** came out, took some pictures and wanted me to make a same day decision on replacing my ac unit (to the tune of $15k). I requested ******************* out the cost for a few different options/units so that I could look them over. He seemed exasperated that he would need to give me different write-*** so I knew my options, acting as if it was a big hassle. After telling him 5 times that I wasn't making a same day decision to replace my ac unit (to the tune of ~$15k), he finally relented and said he would finish working up the other estimates in his truck and email them to me so I could leave for work. As I was signing on his tablet, I also noticed that even though he quoted me $59 for the service call, it stated $79 in the fine print. Had I not questioned it I feel I would have been overcharged.Here we are ~2 weeks later and no estimates were ever emailed. I got a copy of the pictures he took and the adjusted $59 invoice. I'm admittedly extremely disappointed.1/2/22 I call ACE about 11am, explain that I never received the promised estimates and indicated I do not want ****** or his 'team'. I was told **** had availability same day availability between 1-5pm. Got a call from dispatch that a service tech was ready to come out around 2pm, I asked which tech and they said ****** (**************, **** all work under the same team), I reiterated that no one from their team could come out and they offered **** the following day 9-1, I said that was fine. I got a call about 8:25am stating **** was on his way, should be there in ~45 minutes. Then about 15 minutes later dispatch called and said **** was not on his way. I questioned why he was reassigned and the dispatch manager blamed ****'s direct supervisor, talked in circles, I told her I want a tech out asap and that they've wasted enough of my time and to call me when the tech is truly on their way. I'll be seeking a refund of my $59 d/t the sheer amount of time they have wasted.

  Don't hire! Liars and fraudulent company! I called Ace Home Services, explained exactly what I needed repaired and they said they do this type of work. They said they charge $59 to come out, inspect, quote and can do the work same day. The tech came out, inspected, left the job and said "oh, we don't do this type of work" but still charged me $59.I clearly stated to them, before they came out, that the dryer vent that goes from the dryer through the attic needed to be redon and put out through the vent that goes to the outside. The customer service rep said they do this work and even checked with her manager. But then they change $59, leave the job after 5 minutes and say they don't do this job but will still make me pay the $59? Wrong, unethical, illegal. I'll be filling complaints with the BBB, ******* FTC, and ************************
