      I have been with sparklight for as long as I can remember! I recently was sick and someone else had to handle paying the bills for my household and my child had to assist them finding passwords etc to sign in and handle everything! They assumed that I paid my account with ********************** with a checking account that was on the account and paid our current payment due. That was paid on June 10th- fast forward I get home from hospital stay last night June 17th and I start following up on my bill accounts and everything looked paid and handled. I notice my sparklight is paid but has not came out of my checking account. But yet my ********************** account was showing only due for 2.00. Got up this morning to connect with my doctors and realize my services are disconnected! Im freaking go through my emails NOTHING, go try to sign into my sparklight account says I need to contact sparklight so Im freaking I literally had just been on my account at 11:47 pm the night before (first night home from hospital ) customer service *** states that they full disconnected my **** services because the payment was returned!!!! I lost it! First thing there was no notification at all!!! I checked my emails STILL NOTHING , No phone calls nothing! I asked the ***resentative how can we fix something if we literally are not even given time to correct the payment she couldnt tell me all she could tell me was to get my services back on I had to pay the total bill of 166 which I dont even know how my bill is that much when pay every month, plus a reconnect fee, month advance payment and other fees that didnt make sense total was close ****** I explained I was a one income household, with two young kids and have been in the hospital explained the situation and how someone done it by mistake trying to help my kids and me out and how I could have fixed it right away if sparklight had notified me instead they just full disconnected me and have now screwed me into having to pay Double what I owe& I cant

      Very crappy place to have Internet they don't accept payment arrangements but also don't allow you to log into your own account that you created once your Internet gets shut off so you can see what your paying and for what months just tell you that you owe this much and expect for you to pay it not knowing for what months your paying then want to charge you for 2 months plus a reconnection payment and don't want to help you get caught up they pretty much say s**** you pay it or just don't have our services

      Sparklight has no clue what it means to be in business. On 06.10.2025 I had no internet service. Called Sparklight for a total of 6 1/2 hours in trying to speak with someone and when I did speak with someone, they could offer no resolution. Today I called to get credit, and was told that if I didn't have a complaint number I would not get credit for the day, even though Sparklight is aware of the outage. This is unacceptable, and I will be looking for another internet provider ASAP!!!

      Worst decision I have ever made. Dropped/ ***************** has continued for about 9 days. Multiple calls made to tech service. They had requested that the local manager in ***********, ******** call me. No response. The Tech. that was sent told me that he was not trained to fix out problems. When the home was able to get service, I had to hard wire my laptop into the modem to get it to get internet. The tech told us that ************ was not compatible with ****. I give up! We changed companies.

      After constant complaints, we got our extenders and router switched from their older models to eero models. Our Wi-Fi was the best it had ever been from December 2024 to April 2025, then at the tailend of April our service with them took a sharp turn for the worse. The internet constantly restarts itself every half an hour, not due to stress on the modem (really only three or four devices are on the Wi-Fi at any given time), but for an unknown reason. We pay a good amount for this internet, and it being this horrendous out of nowhere goes to show just how unreliable Sparklight is as a company. Visits from a technician occur monthly for the Wi-Fi to remain sub-optimal. Put your money elsewhere if you're looking for a strong internet provider you can remain with.

      April 30 I filled out the paperwork to get a discount for my service because Im disabled. They told me my new plan was accepted and my internet would be ***** a month. Went to look at my new bill and it was ***** a month. The person I spoke to said it would take affect next month not this month because they said I needed a new modem to wit I did not need one. And because of that I was denied the new rate. Not acceptable! They straight up lied to me. And wont do anything to resolve this issue. Not happy!

      HORRIBLE! Moderately ok for several years. Began having issues about a year ago with poor to no Internet. Requested a service call to move or install cable; was given an eero 6 box instead. Have called twice since in the last 2 months for extremely slow to no service. After the last service call, I spoke with customer service requesting a refund for 1 month of no internet. They gave me $25. Today, 1 week later, I am again using the mobile hotspot because I have no Internet despite being on the company's ultra high speed (most expensive) plan. Can/Will someone help me, Please!

      Our internet in ***********, ** has now been out for two days. Not to mention, that over the last 2 months it goes in and out almost daily causing disruptions throughout our home. I called to see what the issue was when it was out for an extended time last week and was unable to speak to anyone. I called again to try to use the "call me back" option and once again, nothing from this company. I faithfully, pay my bill every month yet I do not receive even a months worth of service from this company. I would switch in a heartbeat but many of us can't because they monopolize the area forcing us to pay for subpar and mediocre services.
