I had a root canal done, back in the very beginning of 2023. The dentist I went to vocalized to me that he wasnt very confident in his work but to see how it works out months down the road the tooth had caused nothing but pain. *** asked multiple times for a refund. I shouldnt have to pay $1600+ for something you didnt have confidence in. I want my money back. Now Im stuck paying out of pocket to go see specialist etc. told I cant get a refund and that I need to come in so they can redo it for me. H*** no. Ill never trust Risas ever again. I want my money back. This place is awful. I dont want to go near that office. I just want my **** money back. So I can go somewhere that can actually fix my tooth.Business Response

Paid in full for a crown, they kept rescheduling my appointment, told them I'd found another dentist and would be cancelling the crown before they put it in. They said I'd get a full refund on services and membership. They have a "No questions asked" refund policy, and satisfaction guarantee, both of which they did not honor. My daughter has been going to Risas for over three years now for her Orthodontic work. Every single time we go there is a new provider. Today she went and the provider told her that the previous provider messed her teeth up bad and now needs a lot more work and that it will leave a gap in her teeth and that we can purchase a fake tooth later on. I paid over 3k cash for braces and now being told this was messed up and now I am needing to get her a fake tooth at some point. A 17 year old girl needs a fake tooth? What did. I had my few remaining teeth removed in order to have full dentures. This process has been going on for at least a year now. The last time I came in the said they would need to start the entire process over again. Do they not give temporary dentures to patients? It's been quite a while that I have not had any teeth! They stated that the same dentist had to see me every time which made for many scheduling problems. I would prefer to go to another dental group, but what will they refund for this long-standing effort? If it's only a percentage of the total amount, should I stay with them or take whatever they refund and go to a more caring and timely practice?Business Response

I have been having a billing issue with Risas everytime I call they say they will call me back and never do. They do not have a billing department I can speak to directly they only have front desk personal who will relay the problem. I have tried multiple times leaving them messages with front desk for call back and nothing. I need my last 3 visits billed so I can get reimbursement from my insurance. I had visits on 10/05/23 10/26/23 11/01/23 12/02/23 All my other billing I had to keep calling it wasnt until I went in person to speak to a manager to get them to send some billing on 10/05. PLEASE help me get my billing to be submitted I am in desperate need of my money and if you call you will see what I mean as to they have no DIRECT number to speak to billing or Email. On my routine cleaning visit with my newer dentist it was pointed out that my crown done at Risas was ill fitted. I returned on 12/11 to have them evaluate xrays. They have xrays from that match my new xrays showing the ill fit which was actually damage caused by a backwards placement, forceful/painful prying off, and re-sitting of the crown by a technician/the dentist in April 2021. The office manager tried to say it was extra cement but the first and second xrays show the structural change from one to the other. I was told I would simply have to pay for a new crown because the previous doctor was no longer with the company. However it is the company as a whole that is selling this service not the provider. I am looking for a correctly fitted crown replacement. The current dentist on staff saw me for about 2 minutes I was then left in exam room by myself for over 50 minutes before I asked to leave. I was shown only the original view in the exam room at that point by the assistant. I asked about more views but she did not show them to me. The office manager showed me all views when she tried t convince me the defect was extra cement. She then stated since it was all good since 2019/2021 then they wouldnt fix it, but it wasnt good, they just continued to cover up their poor work for the time I remained their patient and I was unaware until I changed dental offices.Business Response

I had been with risas for about 5 years now with my braces, my braces were removed in October **************************************************************************************************************************************************** the dental field myself now n this is ridiculous that the dr never recommend me to extract my k-9s for my over crowding, they agreed to put my braces on again because dr himself saw that my teeth were moving forward, I had recently again have had my braces taken of in July and the same thing is happening I had went to my general dr and he has mentioned to me my teeth are over crowded and he was referring me to ortho, I have went into the location the girls in front are rude, they did not want to help me I asked her that I need to speak with someone else she refused, I have tried to contact them to speak with someone else, n they tell me that they will call me back they never do, this is really frustrating and I need my braces back on there is no way that I paid 2000 for ******** ***** unfair they just want your money, originally when I went in they did not ask for medical ************** n since I was paying in full they put on my braces same day.
