I heard a commercial on television advertising Sprouts Farmers Market so I contacted them and asked what farms their produce comes from. I considered it a very logical question. However it was not well received. I was informed that it was proprietary information they were not required to give to me. I was shocked to say the least! I reached out to other places such as emailing my state representatives and senator asking if this was in fact proprietary information but received no answer from anyone. So is Sprouts correct in saying they are not required to give this information out? I have not been able to determine that. However when you advertise a " Farmers Market" it leads me to believe there is a local farm somewhere supplying that produce! I agree they are not advertising a local farmers market but to me their advertising gives the appearance of a local farmers market and it is false advertising. how do I know if there produce is coming from South America or ******* or elsewhere? As a health conscious person my only option is to not shop there. I live in Liberty, ******** and USED TO shop at the Sprouts market on BOOTH.

I would like to add I did hear another commercial on tv , chanell1091 on AIR TV,at 1:08pm on 07/29/22 that specifically stated produce in Sprouts Farmers Market was from local farms. So I would still like to know what farms they are referring too.
