On 12/27/2024 we had our alarms repaired and then signed up for a 1 year maintenance plan. This has been a disaster. That plan will be cancelled for good and this company will never do work for us again. However, it seems like all of these companies try to sell you things you don't need or create problems for the customers. The maintenance plan included HVAC, *********************************** and it's been a money pit and **** poor work performance along with odd behaviors from the employees (like eating all of our popcorn & another telling us he's OCD but has an attidude to boot). The one yr maintenance plan was $1,392.00. We had HVAC checked and paid and additional $950 for that "preventative repair". Then comes the plumbing check and the wax ring was repaired for another $953 for our toilet to leak from the base a week and half later. Then another employee comes out to "correct" the error only to tell us it our toilet gasket to be fixed which is now another $400. ***! When does this stop? I'm not allowing this to continue. I won't have them return in 6 months to tell me there's more problems that need to be corrected and then try to extract another 3K from us.Patrick Riley Cooling Heating and Plumbing LLC

I initially hired ******* to install my A/C unit and continued with them for regular maintenance, even after the company became Patrick Riley. Their technician, ******* *********, came to my house for a maintenance visit, spent about an hour inspecting the A/C unit, said everything was fine, charged $150, and left. However, the outdoor A/C unit stopped working the same day.I called the company to fix the issue, and ******* came back. After another inspection, he claimed it wasn't his fault and that my recently installed A/C unit required $1,700 in repairs. I found this hard to believe and decided to get a second opinion.The new company discovered that ******* had either lost or removed approximately 3 pounds of refrigerant from the system, causing the problem. They fixed the issue for just $540a fraction of what Patrick Riley had quoted.I strongly advise against using this company and their deceptive technicians. I think my elderly neighbor has been taken advantage of!! Because she has Patrick Riley out annually to check on her systems ( most likely talked her into a service plan), yesterday she was told scary stories as to what can happen if she doesnt bring her electrical panel up to code?! Theyre charging her $6000+ to replace her electrical panel and replace outlets. Really?!! I approached the technician and asked why it was necessary, and was told the foil looked burnt? There are hundreds of homes in my neighborhood that are ***** years old, and I know of no one else having their electrical panels changed out and brought up to code, which even isnt a thing! **** never recommend this company again after this week and will be reporting them to attorney general and BBB.We started with Patrick Isleys when we bought our home. The previous owners used them to install AC units. The first year with their maintenance plan was phenomenal. They never recommended crazy things, took care of everything and kept us in perfect working condition. We used them for plumbing and servicing our units.The second year, seemingly since they were bought out has been trash. Plumber came out, recommended almost 2k in repairs. Ended up costing us $300 elsewhere and they were super aggressive and rude when I declined their recommendation.This time we had them out for electrical because we have their maintenance plans, the guy recommend $4100 in repairs and insisted that we must do it because our breakers were out of code, our wires were worn down, all kinds of stuff. Had me fearful of all the worst case scenarios. I told him we needed more opinions, he informed me several times how other electricians would charge me just to come out. The kicker was, he could even tell me what our problem was, he needed to charge all these additional diagnosis fees just to find the problem.Well, we had another person out for $50. Ended up out the door costing $500 to fix our problem and the guy informed us nothing is out of code, nothing is worn down. Everything is in working order and he completed the repair.This company is turning into a scam, nothing but shady sales people who come out and see a woman alone and try to scare her into a bunch of unnecessary repairsPatrick Riley Cooling Heating and Plumbing LLC

Tech attempted to replace an entire system of perfectly working parts with a price tag for repairs, higher than that of a new system. This is not the first time this has happened either. Will NEVER use them again. I would consider this Fraud and so should you and the ***Patrick Riley Cooling Heating and Plumbing LLC

When the date arrived I waited and waited and of course, no tech and no phone call to notify me they didn't plan to show up as they no longer supported the service I was calling about in the first place. Wanted to charge ****** for this five minutes work ,said it was for troubleshooting and he replaced a fuse. Never mentioned this charge beforehand. Then came the estimate of what I needed to get it working right. Hard start kit ****** , electrical surge protector ****** , fan motor and cap *******. plus to get this ,at these prices I had to ad the *** package for 239.00.I ended up getting the hard start kit and the *** and surge protector. After some convincing on my part he removed the trouble shooting fee. Still ended up paying a lot more then I should have for what was done ******* I will not use this company again they are out to rob you blind.They try real hard to sell you a new unit at a robbery price.I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN. The salesman for new a/c offered no payments for 12 months and then had us sign documents that were wrong and received a first payment due end of July 2022. I called the lender and they told me the company could have us re sign correct documents and they would accept.However, I have been trying to communicate with *******************, owner, the salesman, and a few other employees with no resolve or reply.Patrick Riley Cooling Heating and Plumbing LLC
