  If I could leave a 0 star as a rating I would... To start, Turf Monsters was 1 mth behind in their scheduled install date which was very disappointing as I paid them more than everyone else due to this commitment, plus a 10yr warranty on the grass. Actually, they were behind by many weeks on most of their scheduled appointments with me. These were excused by many different stories including some employee's personal issues I felt I did not need to know about and I am sure they didn't want me to know either. After 2 years with their product, my grass lays flat and in most areas, many Matted areas where it is unexplainable why it looks so bad. I was told by ************************* that I needed to have them back out to Power Broom the grass again and I was convinced it would fix it, which I paid them for btw. This process did absolutely nothing to fix my grass and I have been on the phone with them (****) many times to have him tell me it's somehow my fault as to why their grass will not look good for 10 yrs. He even will imply how I am treating it and or how many dogs I have, which he has no idea of btw... I have challenged him on his findings to only have him yell at me on the phone and now he has gone ahead and blocked my number. That's not all...To date, I have had to file a complaint with the registers of contractors because of no responses and was forced to write this review. BTW, I have found that this company has deleted my past Invoices to come and fix the grass. The only invoice they will produce is the initial install invoice because the *** will not talk to me beyond the 2-year ***** This is why Turf Monsters can no longer produce them. I find this to be quite shady and will be filing complaints with the BBB and filing Civil lawsuits as this is a principle issue with just bad business practices if any being practiced at all.Stay away from this company!! Read the fine print on the warranty!!Do not trust *************************!!

  Only reason I am posting this is I want to save anyone else the possible frustration. I used Turf Monsters do install a little rectangle of grass (315 sq ft). The grass was infested with weeds and what not, so I figured turf was the way to go in the long run.When it was installed, everything looked and seemed great. But then the old grass started popping through the turf within two weeks after a small drizzle (over 50 patches through the turf, not just on the edges, but throughout the entire turf). Turns out, only the top inch of old grass was scraped off, no weed killer was applied, and no weed barrier was placed down (as I was told and specifically mentioned on their website). When I inquired about a fix, my rep said that the installers were on disciplinary action for cutting corners, and stated that they would fix the poor installation - the turf would need to be pulled up, the DG and more of the old soil taken out, and then weed killer and a weed barrier put in properly. But, when the owner found out, the only way he offered to fix anything was I would have to pay for all materials and labor myself. He stated that no one actually digs down deep enough to solve weed issues, no one puts weed barriers down for turf, and people just get used to spraying weed killer all the time as this is standard maintenance for turf owners. I mentioned that this is not what I was told from the original meeting, and explained that their own website states that existing dirt will be dug down, weed killer applied, weed barriers installed, then new DG laid down. The owner was quite angry with me, rude over the phone, and literally yelled at me with every question and proposal I asked or offered. The original installers were later sent back to my place to make it right, with threat of being permanently fired. I was told to relay back to the rep what the installers planned on doing (as if this is my responsibility). They never showed.
