  I went on a tour to ******** ******** in September of 2023 and it was an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and professional. I can attest to the fact that this is a very professional organization that holds itself to very high standards of conduct. It cost a lot of money, but it was worth every *****.

  I recently took a trip to ********* in ***************, coordinated by the Phoenix-based company A Foreign Affair (AFA), and it was one of the most amazing experiences Ive ever been a part of! Its like stepping into another world when it comes to meeting wonderful women who are sincerely interested in ******** men. If more ******** men knew of this option, Im sure they would be flocking to ***************, ********, Columbia, and other countries that AFA offers tours to. The women in *************** are as genuine and unspoiled as you could wish for. Theyre beautiful, appreciative and refreshingly simple; but smart with common sense that rivals or exceeds that of women in western countries. I think this has a lot to do with their close-knit families, and often taking responsibility for fellow family members. AFA is impressively well organized, and facilitated the trip in a highly professional and personalized manner. The attention paid to each and every client by AFA is beyond thorough. And the local *********** staff possessed the same giving personalities that were present in the eligible ladies. I believe the priorities of women in *************** are to meet men who are sincere, responsible and loyal (among other traits) - qualities they dont always find among men in their own countries - but do appreciate in ******** men. Going to another country for love and marriage may seem like a long trek, requiring time and expense to accomplish. Yet dating in the **** also demands time and $$ - probably even more so. Consider that on just one AFA trip youll meet hundreds of beautiful, young ladies. As opposed to slogging through months (and years) of expensive domestic dating, often leading nowhere. The choice seems pretty clear.

We are extremely proud of all of our staff around the world as they work hard to assist both the men and the women in their quest to meet their special someone, and sometimes do not receive the thanks they deserve. I am glad that you enjoyed the experience and hope that you met someone special. We only wish more men would do what you have done and actually go over and meet these wonderful women in person instead of just corresponding as you must meet in person to really have a chance of making anything happen. Keep in mind you do not have to correspond first to meet the majority of the women, just go to our foreign offices on a group tour or individually and they will do their best to arrange as many introductions as you desire!

  Guys in June 2023, they say to meet a woman in ************* you will pay $150 one time fee + $125 for meeting. They also encourage doing a video call before traveling and meeting. This call is $150 and you are not allowed to exchange any contact info. Sending letters is $10 to send and receive. So if you like a profile you decide to do a video call you spend $150 then decide to travel and meet, its $275. So you will have spent $425 to meet one lady in person. Does anyone else think this is ridiculous? They claim that the fee went up due to inflation, however their staff is paid in the local currency of the country where you will meet which is ********* Pesos or other currencies of **********, **** etc. that are definitely weaker than the **** Plus inflation came down to 3% anyways.

It is not clear if you have even used the service or not, but in any event we appreciate your comments and would be happy to try and shed some light on how the service works and why we charge what we do. Since **** we have assisted thousands of men and women in meeting their soul mates and moving forward with their relationships, most going on to marriage. We provide invaluable opportunity and more importantly, ongoing professional support to both the men and women. When you travel to ******** you are greeted by friendly professional staff who have worked very hard so you have the opportunities you do when you arrive. It is not as easy as picking up a phone and calling a woman to see if she would like to meet you. Building the overall infrastructure that you are utilizing to even be able to meet the qualified women that you can via the service has taken years and millions of dollars. Then, once you are there, the staff is working with you one on one to introduce you to these previously screened and qualified women, and doing real Matchmaking on your behalf. If you were to contact any Professional Matchmaking companies (and we advise you to do so!) you will quickly discover that our fees are extremely reasonable and one of the best values in personalized Matchmaking found anywhere today. For those that do not want this type of professionalism and built-in opportunity and prefer the do it yourself type dating sites, there are many out there, but they too have their drawbacks and issues that are beyond the scope of this reply. We would simply warn anyone using the do it yourself services to be very careful because you really have no idea who you may be interacting with or meeting, there is no one assisting or verifying anyone, the men or the women, so it can be somewhat dangerous, especially with international dating. We hope that we were able to shed some light on this for you and also hope that you ultimately find who it is you are searching for and if we can be of any assistance please let us know.

  I cannot speak on the actual retreats, maybe they are legit. However, the site and communication is def not legit. The intro letters are automated and computer generated, which is to be expected. The responses also seem complete** company driven. In short, you get an intro letter from a bunch of women. It costs $5 to open them. You can then respond to a woman with a letter. The letter costs $10 to send, and additional money if you exceed the character limits. If she sends you an additional letter in response, it costs $10 to read and if you want to see additional info or pictures that she attaches, those attachments each have a fee to open. You'll have to correspond at least a few times to have a realistic conversation with someone where you can get a feel for them, then you'd want to set up a date or video call to meet them 1 on 1 or in a group retreat through the agency. The video call has another high fee and the retreats have a high fee of $3k+ to go to a country for 5-7 days and meet a bunch of women. This is the idea of the site. The problem is the correspondense is obvious** just up-selling you to write them forever and open expensive attachments. Whenever you try to advance to a video call or something to lock them in and move forward, they suggest that they need to get to know you a little more before chatting on video and you can never get passed the fabricated responses. O ** 2 good things about this site 1. I know for a fact that at least some of the girls are real because I've matched w some of them on tinder, and have talked with them on Instagram before I saw their profiles on the agency and their information matches up 2.) I actual** do think the retreats are real, but they're very expensive and who knows if you'll actual** see the girls you've been talking to the whole time? The goal of this whole site is to get you to buy an expensive retreat package, nothing else. And for that reason it's very scammy in my opinion. I wouldn't suggest risking it.

  Thank you for your review. We have been helping couples meet and move forward since ****, and yes, you are correct in that the women are real, we go through an extensive verification program. The tours (retreats as you called them) are a great way to meet. We are not upselling, they are the main focal point of what we do. You are also correct in that the goal is to get men like you to go over and actually meet these wonderful women in person so the two of you can make something happen, that will never happen with just writing letters. If you are really interested in having someone assist you with ************, especially in different countries/cultures the tours are a great, inexpensive vehicle, but we also do just simple one on one intros. The important thing is to go over and meet in a safe (for both you and the woman) and efficient way. I say inexpensive, because for just $3,000.00 or so you get so much value with the tours, including very nice hotels, Socials, support, and great ************ services. You would easily pay 3 to 4 times that, or more, for the same or similar services in the US. If you ever find a service that is less expensive than ours please let us know because in 28 years we have never found one!   I signed up for this site, but when I found out the stupidly expensive cost of exchanging communiques, I decided to take a pass. I still keep getting letters from various women, but I hardly ever open them, and never reply. So, yeah. Forget about AFA **** is what I say.

  The agency send letters from woman in the agency as if it was the actual lady sending the letter herself snd seem as they are interested. Than you pay $ **** or more to open the letter you received. **** to send a letter back to her. Than another $**** to receive her response just to see she wasn't interested.. Almost feel like false advertising .

  ***, Thank you for the review. Actually the site is a ********************** and is different than most others in many ways. The men/women receive much more assistance/support than most other dating sites. We do explain exactly how the intro letters work both right in your mail box and in the terms of service. Yes, the Matchmakers can and do assist with the correspondence and the introduction letters (which are $5.95), and even help to send them out for the women, as stated clearly on the site. If you do not wish to receive intro letters you can disable them. We really push the men to go over and meet the women in person via our tours or just individually, it is much more efficient and effective than correspondence. If you have any issues at all with any letters you paid for or received just call us and let us know and we will gladly work to resolve any issues with you.

  Honestly, is this a scam?? Seriously AFA?? Us men truly want to believe this is a real dating site. Same here, the lady I was talking to from *******, also changed dates to Skype call. What is going on??? Your reps never call me back to check up on the lady if shes serious or not.

  Pretty amazing when you're talking to who you think is woman in the profile, only to find her on another site. Turned her Webcam on and it was the girl. I asked her what she had for dinner (since I was told on loveme.com's site. Amazing, she told me something completely different. She didn't know who I was. She claims the profile on loveme.com is her profile but due to the "stress" in *******, she completely forgot who I was, even though I had just received a message from "her." Doing some research it appears they pay good looking women for their pictures. It is not who you're actually talking to though.

  Do you want me to travel to a warzone? I have tried to ask them for ways to communicate outside of your site. They ignore me when I ask. There are several ways to be able to communicate off your site without putting anyone in danger. The other "woman" who I was "talking" to. She's been in a relationship since 2013. It really isn't hard to find any information about someone these days.

  Weird. So apparently no one checks the email account over at their site. It's only when they get called out. They're such a "reputable" company, you'd think at least someone would check the email at least once per day. I still have not received a response (in regards to) from the second woman I was apparently "talking to" who's been in a relationship since 2013. They have till Friday 3/3 to confirm refunds on the money I spent until I dispute the charges, which I WILL GET BACK!

  The women respond from a script more importantly the very high cost of this site is explained by the site administrator as an introduction only The women are told not to exchange info so you are stuck writing them a $7 to $30 dollars a letter. It appears the women on there are making money off the site they write multiple men and each time you respond they get money. One lady said she was a doctor she wrote me 8 times in one day. I aske her to go through IMBRA so we could exchange info. She refused she said she had a bad experience. So for fun I asked another lady say response. Do Not Waste Your Money Or Time Here. It is way too expensive and I dont know how in the world they get high ratings. It an expensive scam

  Total Scam... Dont do it..... You have to pay for membership fee that only last 10 days... so to go on one date costs at least $250.00. I did one like a fool and I didn't hardly recognize the girl she put on 30 lbs.... as far as **************** goes it's none existent..... They set up a date and then cancel, change dates and then day 0f cancel........ Don't believe any BS someone post as a response form AFA... it's a scam........SCAM SCAM SCAM.   Thank you for bringing this to our attention. **** used our ********************** service. The cost is an initial $125.00 office fee and then just $95.00 per introduction, as many as you would like and we can arrange. If you stop using the service for 10 days or so and want to come back and start again we do normally just charge the $125.00 office fee, it is not a membership, nor do we say it is a membership, but mainly goes to the staff for support. **** did not return until about a month later for another intro. so of course they charged the office fee again. Our prices are much lower than virtually any other ******************* in the country. We regret **** was upset with the "weight" of the woman. We do not control the appearance of the men or women on the site, as is the case with virtually all legitimate dating sites. Appearances can and do change for many reasons, which is why we advocate meeting in person as soon as possible for both men and women. From time to time, dates can be changed or rescheduled by the man or woman, this can and does happen and most clients understand that as part of the process if and when it does. Our **************** is well regarded, just call us anytime during business hours and we will be happy to speak with you. We agree that you should check with the BBB. We have enjoyed a stellar reputation with the BBB over the last 27 years with thousands of engagements and marriages, with 4 new engagements and a wedding just this week alone! We do hope that **** can find a more cost effective matchmaking service that is more to his liking.BTW, I have lived in ******* for over 50 years and find it to be a beautiful State with fantastic people, not sure why **** is also against *******...
