    We met at their showroom with the owner, ***************** ****. They just installed new lighting on showroom structure that morning. **** said he would provide all the new lighting - installed, including electrical, for $3k. We agreed. We did not get that lighting. Also, the caulking job at the top of the structure, which can be seen out of all the windows from the 2nd floor, looks like monkeys installed it. It looks horrible. We know good caulking is essential, but we did not expect such a shoddy job. We have called them 5 times. Spoke to **** once & said hed take care of it. They are completely ignoring us.

    I would like to reopen the complaint because it was not resolved.

    The Monday after this complaint was made, I miraculously received a call from AZ Shade Masters. They said they would send someone out to replace the incorrect lighting with the new lighting. We arranged for a date/time. Their person arrived onsite & discovered the existing lighting installed was high voltage. The correct lighting that we purchased was low voltage. He said he wasnt prepared or qualified to perform the changeover of electrical from high voltage to low voltage. He left and said hed notify the office. Never heard from the office. I was reluctant to call because my previous attempts to I contact them were totally ignored until I filed this complaint.

    I also received a call from their worker regarding the extremely sloppy application of the caulking. He said he was on a job nearby and would stop by after he was done. He called to say the job was taking longer than expected & called to reschedule. I agreed to the rescheduled date. On the rescheduled date, he called again to say he couldnt make it and would call later or arrange with the office to have someone else come out to fix the issue. Again, no call from the office of any other person from the company. 

    The issues are not resolved and feel the company has no desire to make this right. If you look at other reviews on **** for installs at around the same timeframe, other people were reporting similar issues. This appears to be a typical practice of this company. I have no confidence whatsoever that they will resolve these issues for me.

    ** Shade Masters has installed the agreed product. Total paid $24,000 of $30,000 contract. - Began work without permit (found our after the fact)Took pictures of footings (said inspector just wanted photo's)- Completed install but will not respond to my emails for resolution to permit.Given no permit-I'm questioning if the product was properly secured to the rear of the home to meet requirements. This open permit issue can create problems for us future permits, selling home or possible entire failure of the overhang with ** winds (also further damage to structure potential).
