1 starSuper unsatisfied with DD214 Direct. I paid for an expedited service in retrieving my DD214 on May 9th, 2024. As of July 21st, 2025, DD214 Direct still has the same answer regarding my order, which they provided six months ago: "Still awaiting your branch to send us your DD214." I paid over $130 for this business to obtain my DD214 promptly, and they cannot provide a single answer as to when they will fulfill it. I highly recommend that everyone not use this business. If you want to receive your DD214 promptly, I recommend using the National Archives, as it is free, and they delivered my DD214 to me in under a week. Wish I could leave a 0-star review. I hope this business doesn't exist and stops scamming veterans.Review fromMichael N

These guys are scammers they take your money and run. My son has been waiting 6 months for his paperwork and so I haven't received nothing. They do not return your phone calls and they send you generic emails. Please take my advice and never use these guys. If they're so good why do they have a B rating instead of A rating? Because I'm sure I'm not the only one that they scammed out there

Approximately 85% of requests are returned quickly, some take longer due to internal delays at the agency. Thats why we step in and cover these delays for youby actively monitoring the request and following up directly with the agency on your behalf until the documents are delivered.We apologize if youve had difficulty reaching us. Our team responds to every inquiry and often finds that replies end up in spam or junk foldersplease check there if you havent seen a response. It's so funny that these guys respond saying that it's somebody else's fault why my son hasn't received the documents from them yet saying that the place that they get it from is backlogged. That seems kind of funny to me because we've already received it for free through the archives so what they are saying it's not true and lying they are scammers and they will just take your money and you'll never hear from them again. June 10 I received 12 documents give or take I asked for a DD-214 it was not in the documents how do you charge someone when you don't deliver what they asked for..thanks for taking my money!!DD214 Direct

I have been waiting for a month now and they will not even give me a best guess as to how long this may take. It costs a lot of money and I believe it would have been quicker if I had requested it myself from the national archive, at least I would be able to check on the status.DD214 Direct

It's been over a month and still nothing from DD214 Direct. I didn't know it at the time, but all I had to do was request a copy from NARA. It didn't cost me anything and I had all my DD214's in less than 24 hours.DD214 Direct

Their website is misleading and charges exuberant prices, advertises 24/7 support then answers with a VM to leave your email address. This is a total scam, you cant go back and review each web page to ID their fraudulent statements. Shut this place down!DD214 Direct
