I have attempted various methods of procuring my Discharge papers from the military, and received varying forms of failure. Though I have as of yet not given enough time to rate a receipt of documents through the mail, I was ****** satisfied with the Pdf formatted files I received on my personalcomputer, as well as communication through my phone regarding their receipt and procedures required.DD214 Direct

I entrusted the funeral director to submit appropriate documents as they stated they had done. Unfortunately they did not. HOWEVER, thankfully DD214 DIRECT continued to leave msg's for me alerting me that documents were still needed. Fortunately DD214 DIRECT contacted funeral director on my behalf and ALL is WELL. 1 starI paid for a DD214 for my recently deceased brother. I provided all his pertinent information (I.e. Name, SSN, DOB, Branch of Service, and in service years. The document I got back had wrong branch of service and service years. Im hoping this is acceptable for the American Legion to provide honor guard services at burial.Worst possible time to put a family additional stress!Review fromJohn F.
