  This company and their employees are very unprofessional. They will refuse to hand over your car if they dont like you! (EVEN IF YOU PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERWORK IN ORDER) They will sit at their desk and not open the door while you ring the door bell. There is no way to get in contact with them on the phone, the 2 ladies that I saw there both had an ugly attitude. While waiting I watched 3 of their tow truck drivers driving like idiots. The 35th Ave employees are miserable and it shows. If those are the type of employees this company hired I can only imagine they dont hold themselves to high standards. This place is TRASH. Its only a matter of time until one of those employees gets this company into bigger trouble just because they want to be ***** and withhold vehicles they have 0 control over.

  Came and repo my car without showing any paperwork to the affect that they had permission nor did they leave any documentation of were my car was. Had to call bank then jump through hoops to make an appointment. I would have gotten my stuff and gave them the keys if they had announced they were there. I do realize many people are hostile

In general, lenders will instruct repossession agencies ("agents") on which type of repossession (voluntary vs. involuntary) to perform for each assignment. For safety reasons, field agents will typically try to avoid contact unless it is a voluntary assignment.   This company was actually amazing. I set up the appointment to pick up my vehicle went earlier then my scheduled time ****** was the one who helped get my vehicle to us. There was a small scratch by the bumper honestly I am not sure if I would have noticed if it was not pointed out by ******. He said he spoke with his boss and as they checked the outside of the vehicle to make sure no other scratches they noticed my back tires needed to be replaced. Well his boss ******** had left message to call him regarding the scratch and how to repair it. ******** ended up offering to get 4 new tires put on the vehicle at no charge to us which is amazing, and very uncommon for any repo company to offer something like this. We where just moving so my car was full with all our clothes plus home equipment and nothing I mean nothing was touched. This is a legit review and am more then happy to answer any question for anyone. They are just doing their job not the companies fault I missed payment but my car is back with me with new Michelin Tires super happy customer!!!!!

  This company is very unprofessional and they held my car after I already paid all fees and the bank released the car they didnt want to help me because an Employee was upset I recommend filing a complaint against them to the ************************ they have real authority and can investigate

  To Whom It May ************* you for notifying us of the Complaint and for giving us a chance to review and respond accordingly. Alpha Towing and Recovery Company, LLC (Alpha Recovery) values the role of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as a fair and trustworthy liaison severing in the best interest of all parties. Below is our response to this Complaint.The Complainant in this matter is neither the registered vehicle owner, nor a Borrower or Co-Borrower, but rather an unauthorized third party, stating that the vehicle belongs to their mother. In order to comply with privacy laws, Alpha Recovery can neither respond to this complaint specifically, nor confirm or deny the existence of any business relationship between the Complainant's mother and Alpha Recovery. Furthermore, in these types of situations, the Claimant would have no rights or legitimate claims in these types of matters.However, Alpha Recovery understands the spirit of the concerns and can make general statements in hopes of providing satisfactory resolution to this matter. In general, Alpha Recovery provides repossession services on behalf of it's clients, who possess first lien positions on chattel corresponding to collateralized/secured loans. When a vehicle is repossessed, vehicle owners ("Customers") may utilize Alpha Recovery's website to schedule an appointment to retrieve their vehicle and/or personal contents from their vehicle. Neither Alpha Recovery, nor any other repossession company, are able to discuss private matters nor release vehicles or their contents to unauthorized third parties.Lastly, we were aware of the Complainant's dissatisfaction with Alpha Recovery's adherence to regulatory guidelines in this matter prior to receiving this Complaint. As is evident in the Complaint, (a) the Complainant made multiple attempts to circumvent the proper procedures, while (b) Alpha Recovery remained compliant.Therefore, we kindly asked that this matter be either dismissed or closed as "Satisfactory" due to (a) the Complainant providing evidence of (a) having no rights or claims in this matter and (b) the nature of the complaint stemming from Alpha Recovery's compliance with regulatory requirements.We again thank you for your time and effort in serving in the best interest of all parties.

  Alpha Recovery dragged my Sons car down the entire length of the driveway leaving black tire marks because the car is all wheel drive. You can see where the tow truck then drove through my yard to turn around and pick up the car from the other end. When I went to pick the car up, I discovered someone had been in the passenger seat, since the floor was covered in dirt and the seat pulled all the way back. I also discovered missing items from the glove compartment. I did fill out the complaint form on that day, but nobody has contacted me. I still have not received my receipt for the cash I paid. I have emailed them a few times but nobody is responding. I especially want the multi tool back that was in the glove compartment. My Son has passed away, and any item of his that was in his car is more sentimental than anyone can imagine.
