      ******* ********* was exceptional. He transferred info from the desk top to the lap top and decommissioned the desk top. He made the desk top work so that I could understand it. The desk top, monitor, speakers and spare parts were taken for recycle after stripping the information. In addition he connected my phone to the printer. Am very thankful for his service and wouldn't hesitate to use his service again.

      I paid $722 for 5 hours of wasted time, damaged components, and a big mess that I had to clean up and bring to another company to actually receive help for the services they advertise. I called Karls Technology in hopes of receiving help building a gaming PC, since i have new medical issues i cannot put them together anymore by myself. When I talked to them on the phone the first time and asked about the services offered and what I wanted to do. They said and I quote "even if you have a pile of parts laying around in boxes our tech will be able to help build this PC." The tech gets here, wastes 5 hours of time literally googling things, making a huge mess with all my parts that I had to clean up and bring to SWS Computers in ****** to actually build the computer. I took the computer to SWS computers and they build it in 1 day and there was not a single issue. Not one. The literally lied and wasted my time for more money. Its all garbage. I threw away $722 for absolutely nothing. I paid for a huge mess and wasted time. and I've contacted the company 3 times now explaining and they take the statement, send it to management, and management has had no communication to any of my attempts to resolve this issue. This is a horrible company and a absolute scam. I'm 99% sure all this company is capable of doing is scamming elderly people into resetting a ******** password then asking for $200. Truly a ************************* who prey on people when possible.

      Excellent; ******* was my tech. He diagnosed and helped order a replacement for a non-functioning power supply, then installed the new one. Tested hard drive and many other things. Installed Windows 11 (from 10) and trouble-shot a couple of resulting oddities. All this took almost 5 hours on two days, but I've gone from no working machine to fully functioning machine. ******* was personable and good at explaining what he was doing, too.

      STAY FAR, FAR AWAY To reiterate what other reviewer posted, ******/**********/Plano/The Colony/****** (take your pick) Computer Repair creates the false impression they are a local repair company, but they are not headquartered here. *******, our tech, came to service a desktop memory issue. He spent the entire time searching ****** on his phone, finally rolling back a video driver. He never did a "four point quality check" as the company promised. That very day, I continued to have performance issues PLUS new problems, related to the rollback, which the technician admitted. He came back a second time and tried another fix - no improvement. I tried for over two weeks to get someone back to actually run diagnostics - Memtest continued to show errors, but **** never bothered to even try recreating himself. $250 plus "travel" expenses for absolutely nothing - actually, less than nothing, since my unit is now worse off than before. The company refused to send out a more competent technician, and because no one would call me back, my two weeks "expired" and the company said they would need to charge me the $250 all over again!

      une 20, 2025 I am writing this in response to your explanation of an invoice you sent to me regarding computer services I received from you through one of your engineers named *******.I first spoke to a dispatcher who told me your charges were $125 for the first hour of service and then a prorated amount over that. I understood and agreed to that knowing that my problem would be easy for a tech person to fix, but just not for me to fix myself. ******* had a really difficult time accessing my computerit took him over hour to get into it so he could work on it. He kept on apologizing for the time it took him, and I didnt think I would be charged for this time. I never had anyone else who needed access to my computer take this amount of time. Finally, he was able to fix my 2 problems in a very short period of time. He then asked me if I wanted him to go through the security program I had Bitdefender to be sure I was free from viruses and malware. Since I thought I had more time left, I said, sure. Then he told me what the charges were$187.50. I told him that I didnt think that was right and I wanted to dispute the extra charge over $125.I called to dispute the charge and received the above email in response. I dont understand it, and neither did the person who I spoke with at your company, who said he would put me on hold and try and get an explanation of the last sentence. I asked him to call the engineer who worked on this with me, and who apologized many times about having so much trouble accessing my computer and the time it took to do so. I felt that ******* would be honest in telling them what happened.

      ****** was very knowledgeable and very polite. He took the hard drive from my old laptop, recovered most of the files and stored them in my new laptop.****** did a commendable job.
