      I am filing a complaint against Patterson homes LLC. Whom didn't start my home for repairs. Who kept funds without my permission no contracts were signed until 2023 who is refusing to give me back funds for work not performed originally Patterson homes was given a check to hold not to cash and cashed funds to repair my home when I stated I wanted my money back I was threatened that they could take all my funds if I did not give them the funds that they cashed I am seeking my funds back so that I may repair my home and not to be bullied by Patterson homes. I had to hire a separate adjuster as ******* at Patterson's homes stated he could not help me then when I stated I would not use them he refused to give me the money that he cashed he cashed this check with an open-ended contract that was not signed until 2023 then back dated a contract to 2022. When we demanded our funds he had attorney get involved and threatened me. My son passed away on September 30th due to not having my homework done and my son not being on the lease of the home we had to rent so my son died by himself at my home that was not repaired if my home was started this probably would not have been the case we want our money back so that we can finish the repairs on our home. I expected Patterson homes to be honest family oriented and to do the right thing. Patterson homes refuses to refund us our money to where now I'm going to have to get an attorney when they could just do the right thing and send us back our money for work that was never performed I'm giving them this opportunity before seeking legal action and not to be threatened and to do the right thing. If Patterson homes had started the project in 2022 and not told me he could not help then this probably would have never happened. 1 contract signed in 2023 and back dated to ************************************************************************************************** his second paragraph it states only if he performs work and that isn't my signature.
