      I have all the same complaints as shown below. After today I am ready to give up on SMIL all together. Today I tried to make an appointment and then needed to cancel and reschedule. SMIL does not let people answer the phone. You have to speak to a robot who does not understand what you tell them. I was able to make the appointment but realized after I hung up I needed to change it. Called back, got another robot who could not find me in the system, could not find my appointment and cut me off. I called back again, spoke to the robot again, cut me off again. I called again still trying to cancel and reschedule the appointment and another robot told me there was a 30 minute wait time!!! Corporate is ruining healthcare!!! Robots have no place in medical care. Now I'm going to have to miss that appointment because I can't get through to cancel or reschedule and they'll probably try to charge me a no show fee. My doctors tell me to avoid stress but it is impossible in this today's healthcare system. I've lost all faith in it.

      Fraudulent billing and negligence in their billing practices. Making up excuses as to why they did not bill my insurance that I gave them. I was billed a year later without them submitting it to my insurance. Upon calling to see why they did not, I was told it wasn't scanned in, then I was told I didn't present it, then I was told oops, they didn't submit an authorization. So at this point they were plain refusing to bill it as they knew it was timely and they would not get paid AND the patient would also not be responsible due to them not properly submitting within the proper timeframes within their contract. Nor would they get paid if they failed to submit a proper authorization, so instead of risking non payment, they banked on trying to bill me, the patient, hoping I didn't know better or hoping I wouldn't ask questions. Trying to make patients think they are to blame for their billing errors, in hopes that they just pay it is taking advantage patients when they are presenting with pain or an injury. If they did this to me, they are doing it to others, Please watch your claims and make sure they bill correctly within the proper timeframes. They know the laws and are familiar with their contract, but that doesn't;t mean they are billing correctly, and when they mess up, you can count on them trying to make up any lie to get you to pay. Know your rights!

      "I had my imaging at SMIL, and I'm definitely sticking with them. Their attention to detail is impressive. *****, my ultrasound tech, was not only kind but took the time to perform my exam meticulously. **************** and ************, the radiologists, were wonderful in explaining my situation and discussing follow-up imaging. If you're looking for top-notch breast imaging, SMIL is the go-to place."

      I had an MRI of the hip and went to my appointment. After sitting there for49 minutes the employee came out and stated that they don't do the kind of MRI I need there. So, I went home and called SMIL to get an appointment at the right SMIL center. The scheduler had me on the phone for 48 minutes. She said that MRI's with arthograms take a long time to schedule. I then got off the phone after still not being scheduled. I will try Simon **** Poorest customer service.
