  We payed this company $5,800 to help us with the *** credit back in 2021. Their mistakes have caused us to have to refile in September of 2024. When checking in, which we always have to since the do not take a proactive approach in communication, we were told that we could reach out to an advocate. We were told that we were basically way back in the back log since we didn't get our claim in until September. This was due to their mistake! Outrageous honestly. Even worse we just received notice from the *** that our paperwork was AGAIN filled out incorrectly and we would have to re file, since it wasn't filed correctly. This now is almost November of 2024! Remember they took our money in 2021. On top of it we completely and legititmely qualify for this credit. Adesso Capitals negligence has been extremely costly to us and I'm starting to wonder if this is a scam, myself. I will update our "progress".

  This review is specifically about Adesso Capital in regard to its FFCRA product. I received a dubious piece of mail at my business location from Adesso Capital suggesting that I was entitled to a significant tax credit. The quoted number just over twenty thousand dollars and the document claimed that I was probably unaware that I was owed these funds, claiming "we are dedicated to simplifying the process of securing FFCRA tax credits rightfully owed to self-employed individuals like yourself." One of the first giveaways that something was wrong, is that Adesso never shared its fees upfront, and they are not readily accessible on the website. Perhaps they are buried in the terms and conditions of using the product? In any case, I did not see them. If you are running a reputable business, there is no reason to obscure your fees, especially if you are "dedicated" to helping small business owners who are "owed these funds". In order to submit the owed tax credit application, it was necessary to pay a $150 fee. I was OK with this, as a one time fee. After paying, I noticed that it was intentionally confusing if my payment to Adesso was now complete. As I added more information to the portal, the amount of money I was estimated to receive rapidly diminished. It was suggested that I pay more fees to complete my filing. Again, the total fee Adesso would take from whatever tax credit I *might* receive was not mentioned. At this point, I had a series of correspondences with Adesso employees through their customer service email. In a similar pattern, ******* pushed me to make payments while being vague and avoidant in response to direct questions about their fee structure. In my final email to their customer service I wrote,"So another $150 in order to hopefully receive a credit/ refund check of 450?Effectively paying $300 in admin fees to receive $150 (450-300 =150)? "A form email response confirmed my suspicion. This company is not a friend to small business owners.

  The most challenging company I have ever worked with. I believe it may be a scam and want to help other business owners prevent a resource loss. There communication is minimal and they will happily accept thousands of dollars and not complete their legal contract obligations.

  Filed my ERC with them in Feb 2023 for both of my businesses. One came in full (all quarters) in Sept. for one business and the other ( one quarter) was intercepted by the *** on a old debt that was in a non collectible status. The other two quarters for my second business are still not received and have no idea when when they will be. ******* wants their 10k in fees for the one that was taken by the *** and not willing to wait for the others to come to get paid. I was told the process time when I started this was 5 to 9 months and here we are out over a year. Adesso said its not their fault and to pay up or be sent to collections. I didn't know there was a *** debt owed and Adesso said they now check before submitting ERCs but didn't then, You would think since my other business paid them 25k that they would wait to get paid when the other two quarters came and I have been waiting so long. At 18% interest you would think they would work with you a little more as they claim to be in this to help the small business.

  Filed my ERC with them on April 15, 2023. Here we are in August 28th, 2023 and I asked for a transcript and I got something from the *** but it doesn't show an amendment and I log into the *** website to see about any amendments and there is none! I dont know what is taking so long but I am starting to feel like I at scammed.

  Do not file ERC with this company, unless you are OK with having no feedback in regards of the status of your process. I payed $2,300 for this service and I find it completely unacceptable that I was not able to get a transcript of some sort of proof that the *** is in fact working on my case.
