      I recently ordered a free bag just pay shipping and i got charged twice $31.94 and $39.48 For items i NEVER ORDERED!! And thier contact info...diabetes hotline! What a slap in the face! Good luck! I hope they Rot!

      paid for a trial of Skinny me chocolate for **** and looked at my bank acct and was charge ***** for a subscription that I did not authorize. I was paying for a trial, they can not offer this then once they have your bank information charge you, also their phone number listed with the transaction is a dating site, once again a scam. I want my money back.

      It seems as tho this company has done this before and I just became one of their many victims. They sent me a bag of chocolates that I did not entirely order. I almost got to the end but did not place my order. They still had my information and decided to send me the chocolates and not charge my card until the last minute so I could not stop it. Then they decided to charge my card the full price of the chocolates although they had already charged me for shipping and all I wanted was the sample. When I saw that they had charged and there was a website on the charges I went to it and the website turned out to not be secure. This is a Scam.

      The products receive were not only awful, I have been charged $39.94 for a "sample" box. What a scam. If full price is being charged, it isn't a sample.

      On or about 8/31 I attempted to order a free sample from Skinnyme Chocolates. I was supposed to be charged for shipping and handling only of $4.95. I was charged 28,90. I attempted to call for the last couple of days and was only able to get through today ( I also immediately emailed them, but they emailed me back that I had to call their customer service number. They refused to issue a refund. I subsequently discovered that this is a common practice that they are using and many complaints have been filed against them.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. However I am including a picture of the chocolate in the condition it was received today. Company needs to ship with an ice pack, especially in 100 plus degree weather. The refund that is pending on my credit card does not include the $4.95 shipping, which I was ok with, but considering the condition of this chocolate, I think the shipping should be refunded also. I will leave that decision to them. Not gonna fight over $5.

      They offer a "try before you buy" promotion for $4.95. You are automatically signed up for a monthly subscription. What they don't tell you is that the trial period is 7 days from your order. If you don't get the candy within 7 days (which I didn't), it's your responsibility to call and tell them. I tried the candy and didn't like it, and called immediately after receiving it to cancel my subscription. I was billed for a month at $34.99. When I called to complain, they said the best they could do was a 30% refund. I would like to get a full refund.

      As I read other people complaints about this company the same thing happened to me. I ordered advertised free sample box paying only for shipping $4,95. And after the week they charged me additionally for $34,99. I did not order any boxes additionally neither subscribed for any monthly or weekly shipments.

      Placed order on their website on or about August 16, 2022 (order #*******). It was a special offer and I paid $4.95 shipping.I spoke with **** on 11/27/22 to see if the order shipped and he said the order was cancelled because I had closed my previous account (which I did).He told me place the order again on their website. The website would not allow me to place the order because "only 1 order per customer allowed on this special."I called **** back and he said he could do not help me any further.

      I placed an order for their "free trial of chocolates, agreeing to pay $4.95 to cover the price of shipping. On August 11, 2022 I received my package of chocolates in the mail. On August 15, 2022 my credit card was charged $34.95. When I called the company on August 16, 2022 to question the charges, they told me I only had 7 days, to 'trial" the chocolate. I informed, ****, the customer service representative that I was still within my 7 day trial period. She then offered me a 30% refund of the charges, stating that was all they were authorized to offer me. I am VERY disappointed with this companies obvious misleading advertising and the scam they are attempting to pull on the unsuspecting public. It is certainly buyer beware!

      I responded to a SkinnyMe Chocolate offer for a free box of chocolate (just pay shipping) on about 6/23/22. My credit card was charged $34.99. I thought that was a little high for shipping, but I accepted it. Then on 7/28/22 my credit card was charged $39.94, without receiving any chocolate. I sent a request to my credit card company to dispute the charge. They requested information from the company regarding the charge. Then on 8/3/22 I received a second back of chocolate. I told my credit card company that I would pay the charge. Then I sent an email to SkinnyMe Chocolate to not charge my credit card for anything anymore and to not send me any more chocolate.
