    My grandson's driver's license had been stolen on July 7, 2024 and as a result there were fraudulent activities on his checking account. Just prior to renewing his license I did what I thought was a motor vehicle check to be sure that there were no further issues to be addressed when we went for the renewal. The charge of $28.95 appeared on my credit card and I was totally unaware of this charge. The site is not clear that additional information would be charged at the rate of $28.95. I am now reading and seeing that this will be a continuing charge. My bank has denied payment, but people should be aware of this outlandish DMV scam.

    I was going to purchase a used ****** Cube vehicle and wanted to get a report on the vehicle to verify condition. I found this DMV.us.org website that advertised 1 search for $1.00. I didnot see where my credit card would be automatically charged monthly an additional $28.95. My credit card has been charged $28.95 three times on 11/27/2023, 12/27/2023 and 1/27/2024. After the 11/27/2023 charge I call the company and they told me my service would be canceled but I could not get a refund. I called again on 12/27/2023 and today 02/02/2024; today spoke to someone named ****** who said my service would be canceled but no refund. The DMV.us.org has not responded to any of my requests.

    I was in the process of purchasing a used motorcycle and wanted to run the **** to make sure that the motorcycle wasn't stolen. I found this DMV.us.org website that advertised **** searches for $****. Nowhere on the site did I see where I would be charged an additional $28.95 and after seeing the negative reviews on the BBB website, I see that I wasn't the only one that was misled about the **** one-time search fee.
