I was a customer of ********************** ( #****** at September 2023. The reason why I went to AAMCO because of my truck having issues. The diagnostic figured out that it was a transmission problem. After 3 weeks, I went to pick up my truck and many more issues had appeared such as oil leaks, torque converter making noise and going bad, hard shifts, transmission was overheating. I was able to get the oil leak and torque converter fixed at AAMCO but the hard shift and overheating transmission were not able to be fixed there. My truck has been to the AAMCO about eight times and in one of the occasions of my truck going back there was an estimate done for a tune up, fuel injector cleaning, and for the suspension. The total estimated for those three works were $3,250, $750 for the tune up and fuel injector and $2,500 for the suspension work. Only to find out that they were working on a different 2014 ***** Silverado truck and that they needed that work done to their truck. Once they checked my truck I needed a tune up and fuel injector that was estimated at $750. I was told that after the tune up the truck would be good without complications. *** was the one who spoke to me and told me that He promised that the issue was not the transmission. The last time my truck was at the shop they had it for over two weeks and they said it was something in the fuel pump. Everytime I would go, my truck was parked in the overflow parking area next to the shop.I had to rent a car multiple times. After this situation I decided to take my truck to the Sands Chevrolet located in Surprise. Their diagnostic and gave me the report that there was no work done on the transmission, the oil had a burnt smell, and there were some loose wires that had to be reattached. When I went to AAMCO to ask for a record of how many times my truck has been in the shop, the printer stopped working all of a sudden. The truck needs to adjust to your style of driving by resetting sensors, the vehicle still jerks and pulls.

We were given a quote to fix our AC. They kept our vehicle a total of 9 days and then surprised us with an out of pocket cost of a new compressor in which we supplied for the company. Needless to say we got the vehicle back blowing warm air and also exhaust smell coming through the ac when ac is running. When we told *** of the problems and needing to be repaired correctly *** stated it will cost more money. My husband said we have already put in $2,300 into the ac and its not fixed like we were told it would be. *** then said thats $2,300 dollars worth!!! Excuse me! We paid $2,300 for it to still blow warm air and smell like exhaust.

The customer paid to fix freon leaks in their 20 year old van. By law, we are not allowed to fill the freon when there are leaks of this size. After fixing the leaks, the system only performed marginally well. The ac system needs more work if it is ever going to improve. I am willing to warranty any faulty parts that we installed as per the warranty, but that is not what they are demanding. They are demanding a perfectly operating ac system. We certainly can provide that, but it is not going to be free. I tried to be nice...  I offered to replace the expansion valve on the main system at no cost. This was not good enough. They are trying to charge back payment and flat out said, "We will not be spending another dime on this ac." I never promised them the ac would work perfect. I merely promised to fix the leaks that we had found. I was willing to continue helping with the secondary issue, but they have ruined that opportunity.

I took my vehicle in for transmission repair. Was told by owner it take up to 2 weeks to fix and estimated cost would be so much cheaper to rebuild then buy new transmission. His estimated cost $3500. Explain to me they will find issues and fix. My vehicle was never looked til 2nd week because limited work area to do repair. My vehicle was pushed to side. Finally, owner called me explain transmissions is bad. I agree to move forward with repair which was on 5/16/23. ***** stated he order parts with nothing mention about a back order. Told me to call back in a week if that dont hear from him, but assured me will be done this week. Now, today 5/25/23 owner lied and told me he order parts 2 weeks ago which is a lie. I approved repair cost on 5/16/23 last week but he mention parts are in and waiting to be fixed. Told me to call next thursday. The owner has been dishonest about everything from beginning and continues to lie to me.

There are many challenges in all repair industries since the pandemic. Staffing, supply chain issues, and an extraordinary volume of work due to interest rates and other economic factors. We have been experiencing a lot of issues with parts going on and off of back order. This is no lie. It is a very real problem. Before disassembly, the best we can do is estimate how long a repair takes on average. Once we open the transmission, we then know what specific parts we need. If there is a backorder on any of them, the job takes longer than estimated. That is literally why it is called an estimate. Our shop is so jammed up with broken cars. Believe me... any that can be completed and leave the property are a blessing. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience that this is causing. We are doing everything we can to get this job(and many others) done.
