My subscription renewed as it has for the past many years, even before it was bought by Norton (aka when it was 1000x better and not a complete scam. Sad they sold out to Norton).Within a week of my subscription renewal, my bank accounts stopped connecting. I called to submit a report, they kept me on a string, calling just to say they were escalating and would call me back. Finally they said oh the service is just down, nothing we can do and no ETA.. of course one week after my 60 day refund window, after dragging me along and calling back over and over for a month. Then of course tell me I cant have a full refund because its outside the 60 days. Total scam. They were so much better before they sold out to a scam company like Norton.

This is the company that owns Norton 360, et. Al. Oh, its easy to get subscribed with them but nearly impossible to cancel a service. When I wanted to cancel it took forever to even figure out how to cancel. They hit my credit and charged me. I called to cancel (after a lot of research to even find where to call) and it is a foreign call center I assume because the people you talk to barely speak English. After giving all the information to cancel, they said well, I cant actually do the cancellation, someone else has to call you to authenticate. After more than a week, someone finally called today and said they would cancel but I have to provide the credit card number of the payment. When I started to provide that, she said Oh, Im sorry, we dont have your credit card on file. I said, you have to have it because you charged it. She said Im sorry we dont have it on file and therefore cannot refund you. Im working with the credit card company to dispute the transaction and they are being very helpful. Moral of the story is: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM OR SUBSCRIBE TO ANY SERVICE FROM NORTON (In my opinion)

I had an account a couple of years back then I cancelled because my job got another software protection to cover all our devices. Then all of a sudden $108.00 was taken from my account. I tried everything to cancel or talk to someone & the phone number doesnt work. I want my money back & have a customer service that we can talk too! Geez ??

Can't Cancel Avast subscription. I've had an Avast subscription for a few years set up on auto pay. As far as I can tell it did a good job of keeping my computer free of bugs. The only thing I didn't like is every few months they would have a new product, for extra money of course, to keep me just a little safer even though I already had Avest premium. I recently bought a new computer and had a different software protection added. I went to ********* to cancel my subscription and could not cancel it. Even though there was a button on their web page titled "cancel your subscription". When I selected that option it took me down a rabbit hole that eventually led me back to where I started. It left me with no other option than to cancel my credit card so they would not be able to charge me for another year. Has anyone else had this problem?

AVG is a company that charged me $99.99 for a bogus order that I did not make. They claim that my husband has an account with them and that they can charge him for it. I told them my husband does not have an account with ******************** at this time. He did have one many many years ago for his PC. I asked for a cancellation of the bogus account they say they have for him. The woman said she would refund me but that never happened. AVG has no integrity. They claim things that are not true.

Norton is the worst customer service experience I've ever had with a company. I bought the "Driver Update" and it messed up my laptop. It took over a month of back and forth with their different "levels" until I finally took my laptop to a computer repair shop where they had to remove the hard drive and reinstall Windows. Norton must have known that the hard drive had to be removed so they avoided me. Now they refuse to pay the $200 it cost me to fix my laptop. This is NOT the Norton we used to know. Buyer Beware.

I signed up for the trial of LifeLock around Feb 2024 and entered my credit card for monitoring. The trial was $249 for the first year $399 if you renewed it the following year, you could cancel at anytime. Sometime in Jan 2025, I reviewed the account and it was difficult to understand what the renewal cost was, it seemed compartmentalized. I set the account to not renew. A couple of months later, LifeLock charged my credit card nearly almost $700. I didn't recognize the charge and told me credit card that I did not authorize the charge, they marked it fraudulent. About a week later I got an email from lifelock that they could not renew my account. I called and told them that I did not want to renew the account and to cancel it. I spent about an hour on the phone as they moved me through recovery teams to convince me to stay. Eventually, we arrived at the account would be canceled. About a month later, I received text messages and emails that my payment was late. I called and they had no record of the cancellation and told me that I needed to bring the account up to cover the service rendered in 2025. Again, I insisted the account should be closed. We were cut ****** is now the end of May 2025 and I still get weekly text messages and email messages that someone checked my service, that my account would soon expire and a few other service alerts.I don't know what to do. I don't want their service and they are now a preditor and a harraser on a weekly basis. Please LifeLock, leave me alone. You are a large corporation and its really concerning me that you have people working for yoiu that would allow this kind of thing to happen. Stop harrassing me.About a month later, I started getting text messages that my account would soon expire and to keep from inturruping my service I needed to call. I called them

I cannot delete credit card information on this site, Avast. Every time I try to do so, I get the message that payment information is unavailable due o technical difficulties. This has gone on for months. I have the same problem if I try to contact ***************** They will not issue refunds once you have paid. Don't pick this software for virus or security protection. I couldn't not reply to any of their emails , it would come up invalid address. The whole Avast system is seriously messed up.

I really like the Avast Antivirus, but Norton keeps trying to sell me its software because I changed to Avast. I don't NEED BOTH, do I?
