The program was presented as an intensive treatment to help me manage my mental illness. It was stated that I would be doing group 3 hours a day, receive individual therapy from a licensed therapist and have the support of a coach to be my advocate and help me along the way, The actual group sessions basically consist of us watching ******* videos of *** talks etc. and the curriculum time is dependent on how long it takes to get through individual check-ins. Those check ins are basically people talking about their happy and crappy experiences for the day. Not pertaining to what the focus of the topic is for that week. People being up personal issues that are that range from having been raped to drug and alcohol relapses. Again, this isnt AA or NA, and they the people attending this group have a wide array of mental health issues and triggers. For me, personally, I found some of the personal, non curriculum related shares, incredibly triggering. The whole purpose of having a coach/therapist should be to work on those outside issues. There were also many times that check-ins would take up the majority of group, depending on class size, and so we would only get half an hour or hour of actual curriculum. I brought this up to my coach, who always seemed to have technical difficulties that would prevent us from actually meeting via zoom, and was told that it was being addressed. I was told that the executive director was going to reach out to me to work on a solution for this, but that never happened. I voiced my concerns with the treatment provided therapist, in regards to this issue as well as wanting a different coach, and nothing was addressed. The program grossly misrepresented their program in order to justify charging the thousands for their program. I left the program in worse state than what I entered
