Suntria provided us with solar panels financed through GoodLeap. Suntria stated the loan's 1st payment was not due until 3 months after the solar panels were turned on so we could be generating power and reduce our electric bill. The panels were installed mid 7/2023 but were actually hooked up and generating power since 9/29/2023 and we got our first bill 10/01/2023 due 10/17/2023.I have tried reaching out to Suntria to explain that to me but I cannot get a hold of anyone. I feel Suntria is a predatory company who provides false information to people just to fleece them from their money for solar panels. They do not stand behind their word or their product.Business Response

Harassment and rude employee. We had an employee come by THREE times today harassing us. I have each time on camera. He was also taking pics in front of my door. When I called him out on it the 3rd time he told me its sad that people in ******** are so poor and he made 20k just last wk.Business Response

I purchased a solar system in 2018. I was promised a system that should have been hassle free to provide solar energy. I was told that if there were issues that it would be taken care of. I have just learned that my system has only been providing energy for less than 3 years. I am having to replace parts that were purchased from this company that was promised to work for a long period of time. I would not have purchased this system if I knew it would not work in less than 3 years. I have lost an incredible amount of money to the loan and for my electric bills the last three years. I am also having to pay for labor on the system to get repaired. I have tried calling the company but they keep sending me to Solar Edge which is not the company I purchased this product from. I would like to settle for my losses on this system and get reimbursed for the broken promises that were made at the time of purchase.Business Response

Good morning! We apologize that your system is not producing what you paid for although as you mentioned your contract is with Solar Edge. They are the company who installed you solar, trained you on the app, and you are paying monthly payments to them. We understand it can be confusing if you had a Suntria sales represenative come to your home and sell you on the system. Our employees are allowed to work for other solar companies and aid them in solar, although they should not have been wearing our brand since they were not selling for us. We have informed the regional manager for ***** so this confusion does not happen again. We reccomend searching Solar Edge BBB and filing a complaint with them to hopefully solve your issues. Around Mid-day on Saturday, Sept 23rd, two Suntria door-to-door salesmen came to my door and falsely identified themselves as being from "my" energy provider. My wife didn't seem to notice the Suntria logos on their shirts, so I joined the conversation -- they again, lied and claimed to be with "my energy provider". I asked who Suntria was and if they actually worked for them, and upon being caught in the lie, they confessed.I told them to leave, we weren't interested. They argued that they were just trying to save us money. These two young men looked like high schoolers, and weren't happy about that. I was told to "suck their dick", and that they had a "$90,000 Tesla waiting around the corner" while I lived in a "shitstain" of a house.Sure enough, about 30 minutes later, these kids pull up in a dark blue Tesla Model 3, and start laying on the horn while I'm inside my house. I walk outside, and tell them to leave, and they stay there shouting various obscenities at me and my wife. I would kindly ask that Suntria stop hiring people with obvious temper issues and canvassing my neighborhood. This is the second time I've had an issue with them.Business Response

Good morning! We apologize for the experiance you recieved from our sales represenatives, we do not allow any sort of behavior as described here at Suntria. They have been trained to be honest about our services to all homeowner and to treat everyone with repsect whether homeowners decide to make the change to solar or not. I have sent this over to our CEO and VP of sales to find out who these two sales employees are and to repremand them for their actions. My husband and I had solar panels put on our roof June 2023 after signing for the loan in Feb 2023. It is September 2023 and we are STILL having issues getting our solar panels up and running. We want to know the process of getting them removed. This is ridiculous, and we are VERY unhappy with the company. We received an email on September 15th, 2023 that stated there was an inspection scheduled July 5th, 2023. WHY are we getting an email about an upcoming appointment TWO MONTHS after the fact? We have also received texts saying that they're just waiting on the city to "flip the switch" and then other messages saying we PASSED inspection when we did NOT pass inspection. We have a voicemail saying that the inspection failed. The communication with this company is ridiculous and we NO LONGER want ANYTHING to do with you. Please, let us know when you can come and get your solar panels AND we WILL get a lawyer involved, if needed. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!Business Response

This company has not fulfilled their end of this deal. I was told I would not have to pay my electric company once I got the solar panels but that was not true. I am now having to pay two separate electric bills which I cannot afford. I have tried working with them but all I hear is that my electric bill will show a big difference next month but it's never next month. I am tired of dealing with this company I think they are fraud and I do not want to pay for this.Business Response

Today, 9/11/2023 I had a solicitor wearing a Suntria polo and hat come to my door knocking multiple times in an attempt to (I assume) sell me their product. I have a clearly posted sign on my front door stating no soliciting, and was in the middle of my workday when the salesperson arrived. My wife answered the door and stated to the solicitor that we are not interested and pointed out the sign that the person clearly read (I have video evidence of them looking at the sign). The solicitor continued with their pitch to my wife as if she said nothing. I want Suntria to notate to their employees (or contracted solicitors) that they are not welcome on my property and if they continue to solicit I will file a police report and seek my options legally for harrassment and trespassing.Business Response

I had a door to door salesman come to my door in April 2023, I don't remember the exact date. He told me if I bought Suntria Solar Panels I would not longer have a electric and I would sell back my surplus electricity to the electric company. I would also be receiving $20,000. in April from the **** I will have paid $30,000. plus interest by the end of the contract. I have not seen any appreciable difference in my electric bill at all and this is according to my electric company. Also the new meter they installed in my home is not connected to anything. I've called numerous times and they either will not pick up the phone(I found out yesterday, August 29th they screen their calls with caller ID) or they call me a liar. I never received a contract from the finance company, Good Leaf or Suntria Solar Company. I want the panels removed, my payments returned, and the contracts cancelled. We bought panels through suntria and were told by ********************* that we would not have a electric bill anymore except for the $15 Tri County Electric service charge. We purchased the system around 10/08/2022 for around $52000& the loan payment would only be around $250 a month. He also stated that at the end of the year we would get back $16000 on our taxes. Now we are paying for a loan and our electric bill is still the same as before. He designed the solar system for our household needs but the system does not put out the kilowatts as promised. He has avoided all calls and texts for months now. We want either out of the loan and the panels taken down, or we want what was promised from him and Suntria and that's a working system without a electric bill.Business Response

In March, 2023 my solar panels stop registering on my solar edge inverter. My panels were installed by Premier, which was bought out by Suntria. I contacted Suntria and was told by ******** a technician would come out to assess. She was told what kind of inverter I had. A week went by. I called again. This continued for a month. Finally, ***** came out. He said, he found the problem and would get in touch to fix. A week went by, I called ******** again. This went on for another month. In May, a person named ******* called to tell me Suntria does not fix Solar Edge Inverter's. I nagged them for 2 months to be told this. He said he could refer me to Renova Construction. ****** came out to find, the inverter is not the problem. They went on the roof to find a problem with wiring to the panels. Suntria did not go on the roof. They rerouted the wiring for half to work and asked to return for a full investigation on the other panels. I called ******* and asked that Suntria pay for Renova to investigate the panels. He said since it was not confirmed what the problem was, he had a no from his supervisors. I scheduled with ****** who confirmed a panel was placed on wiring at install 3 years ago and slowly smashed the connection leading to the problem. He fixed the issue. Pictures attached. Now, it is June, 2023. Premier installed but Suntria took over Premier clients. Unfortunately, I have paid $1200 in elecricity bills and Renova invoices all on Suntria's false assessment, a referral I did not need, and untimely way of scheduling technicians and returning calls. Suntria should have went on the roof at assessement. I called ******* after the improper install confirmation, no call back. I called ********, she said email her all the info. I emailed the next week, she said, someone would call me. No call. I emailed the next week, she says, ******* told you no. I responsed, see email attached. No response. I emailed *****, her supervisor, no response.Business Response

I appreciate this response but reject it on the grounds that this response is the pacification I continue to receive from Suntria and then there is no follow up. I would prefer to have a person in charge, who can make a decision, talk to me on the phone and get this resolved. A phone number I can call to reach that person.
