I was told my rotors needed replaced by another auto repair. But my truck is only 4 yrs old . I took it to Brake Masters in Ahwatukee **. They did a free inspection of my brakes and said they were fine and the pads didn't even need replaced. I appreciate their honesty as they could have replaced the pads or not and charged me, I wouldn't have known. I will be returning to their business for my upcoming oil change. Thank you for not fleecing this senior citizen. ********

I would give 0 stars if I could. We went in to get the breaks done on our car and they took 5 hours to do them even with an appointment. We paid for all 4 breaks and rotors to be replaced, at least that's what they told us they did. We had to come back 3 months later because our breaks were grinding again and they told us they didn't replace the back breaks, like they told us previously. So we got those "replaced". It's been 6 months and the breaks are squeaking again. We have now gotten all of our breaks and rotors replaced, there's no reason out breaks should be squealing within 1 year of installation. $1,000+ and still no fixed breaks. Do not go here. They waste your time and money and break other things in your car in the process. They will lie to your face.

I got new tires for my car and noticed my car was slightly pulling to the right so I figured I needed an alignment. I brought my car into this shop and asked for an alignment. I was told that the car needed an new rack and pinion as well as new control arms and tie rod ends and the whole nine... after everything was said and done, I was quoted $2,200 for a $100 alignment.... I was absolutely blown away. I took my car to two other local owned shops in the area and was told that my car was in perfect driving conditions and did not require anything that Brake Masters quoted me. I really do not appreciate Brake Masters wasting my time and telling me false information about my car and trying to rip me off. I would like some type of compensation for a wasted day driving around and searching for people to look at my car only to tell me that it was perfectly fine. This place has also pulled this move on me in the past and after I paid all the money I didn't need to spend, my vehicle's alignment issues were not resolved, and when I took it back, I was told that it was because I had "aftermarket" suspension. Why was this not mentioned when I initially took my vehicle in?!

This establishment would not take responsibility for worsening the issue with my vehicle. I brought my truck in to have a fuel injector service done, as my truck was beginning to run a little rough at idle. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle they were just pulling my truck out of the bay. ****, the Store manager, informed me that the service did not fix my problem. I accepted this, paid and left. When I started it up and left the parking lot, I noticed the Check Engine light was on. It WAS NOT on when I brought in the vehicle. In addition, the truck was now running extremely rough at Idle. When I called back the next morning to try to get it back in for them to fix, I was told that I could bring it in and he would try to look at it Monday. I work so I told him Monday would not work. My husband who previously worked as a mechanic ran a diagnostic at home and pulled up P0307 #7 Misfire. Long story short, I called another business close by, thinking it needed a tune up. The Manager at this store, reset the check engine light, took it for a test drive and blew out the carbon which has most likely fouled the plug. He said that the service was most likely rushed and done too quickly. This establishment will get ALL of our business going forward. He did not charge me anything and took time to take a quick look, since he was pretty sure what was happening. Brake masters, did not even offer to fix what they messed up. They wanted me to bring it back at their convenience and charge me $170 to run a diagnostic. I was looking for an honest establishment to take my vehicle to get fixed, but after experiencing this, I will not be back.

I went to Brake Masters, located in ********** at *********************** to have my brakes and rotors replaced and was sold defective parts. I had my rotors and brakes replaced on July 1st 2022 and the rotors are already completed rusted and my brake pads need to be replaced already. To give a little more insight, I brought my car in at an odometer reading of ***** and now have completely rusted rotors and brake pads at 8mm and 5-6mm with a current reading of *****, I've drove about **** miles and already need new rotors and brakes and I do not feel that it is safe to drive with rusted rotors. On 10/21/22 I took my car to have a brake inspection at another business where they found the same findings as I did. I then took my car back to Brake masters on Northgate to express my concerns and nothing was done, only a quick look at my rotors and brakes. My brake pads had a warranty at the time, but brake masters did not honor my warranty to change the brakes upon inspecting my vehicle and receiving inspection reports from another business noting that my brakes are ready to be changed. Brake Masters fails to list accurate descriptions of rotors being sold on their invoices. Their invoices do not tell customers if they bought a "standard rotor set", "a coated or uncoated rotor set". It simply lists brake rotor set on their invoices and doe not specify the grade of the rotor set. This is unfair to the customer and a total rip off. Even if I bought uncoated rotors they should not be severely rusted within 5-6 months.

We scheduled an appointment for a quote on front brakes on a 2015 ****** Sentra. Upon arrival, I stated that I was only interested in front brake service since I already had another quote. I knew I needed new rotors and brake pads, so I expected a comparable quote. However, after more than an hour, I was presented with a quote of $1,696.15 + tax, which included much more than front brakes. If they had quoted me for just what I wanted, I would have paid up to $400,86 for their brakes.

Money grabbing location! First experience with them took my Ram **** diesel for steering issue. They had 4 techs test drove it in total their diagnosis was the tires caused it and they rotated. As soon as I got back on the road I still felt the issue. I got on my data log it confirmed they weee all joy riding reaching 35lbs of boost during their test drives. Its a nice loud truck I get it, but Im very unhappy with the 4 guys all test drives(Joy Rides). Second experience I took my ***** with a light into the location after reading the website theyd do it free. I went in today to ask them to scan it and the guy says hed be charging $135 to diagnose I said I just need the code read he said that too would be diagnostic fee. Absolutely insane to charge someone to read codes after the website says its free. Can you imagine how many people this guy is scamming money from! I was expecting much better service and honesty from this location. Hope this gets someone who cares attention cause that manager was not even phased.
