      I contracted Formula Concrete Coating (Frank) to coat the pre-existing concrete on my back patio and pool deck late 2019. Mid 2020 the pool deck clear coat started to turn yellow/orange. I contacted (Frank) and after several reminders he finally came out and they heavily recoated over the old cracked discolored clear coat in the concrete seams. Again, early 2021, the clear coat started to crack and peel from poor workmanship. I called Formula Concrete again and after several reminders, Frank came out in 2022 and evaluated the work and decided to sand off paint and clear coat on the pool deck and seams. The etched out seams were very uneven due to incorrect equipment use. I sent Frank pic.s of outcome and we discussed the issue. I had to wait a several weeks for Frank, to come out and look at the problems. When Frank came out he saw for himself how bad the discoloration was, how crooked the concrete seams came out and that the product was peeling around pool deck. Formula Concrete (Frank) in 2023 decided to sand the product off the pool deck and basically start over. The result of the do-over was horrible. My original color for the pool deck was discontinued, the pool drains were coated with product and did not drain, they used a shiny coat on one side of the pool deck and a matt coat or no coat on the other half at all. Formula Concrete agreed that the patio to pool deck color no longer matched and that they should do-over, sand and recoat the patio. The mess, the dust in my pool water, their paint splatter on my house wall and the patio and pool deck color didn't match, was the last straw. Frank offered to buy paint to correct the splatter issue but hasn't. I suggested he buy a gal. of base ext. paint and I would match color but he didn't buy it. I don't care to hear Frank complain about how much money he is loosing on my house, I've been waiting for months to have the work done but keep getting put off by Frank due to his claim of rainy weather since Mar. 2023.

      I'm sorry for our late response; we had a pending hearing with the AZ ROC regarding this same customer and we were advised to wait until that was resolved.

      We have offered this customer a full refund, plus allowance for broken drains.  As far as all parties are concerned this situation is resolved.  Please let me know if you need any other information from us, I'll be happy to provide it.
