Water main broke, came out within hour of call and provided estimate. We had already contacted another plumber, but their quote seemed high. Called Cummings and another company to compare three bids. Cummings had a significantly better price than the other two companies and the least invasive / concrete saving method. They showed up when they said they would completed job, including putting yard back in order and offered to fill hole left in yard by original plumber on scene ( we took care of it ourselves, but appreciated offer). The Cummings team exceeded our expectations, which was the best part of a bad and costly repair. Thank you Cummings!!

I called Cummings because we had a water leak in the laundry room that was causing water damage in the wall. The water damage was extending from laundry room to bathroom/master room and hallway wall. The technician responded right away, however when he saw the stressful situation and the insurance claim that was in the works he took FULL ADVANTAGE. He cut into the wall in the most sloppy way to assess the situation. He cut the pipe which was the culprit for the leakage and put a plug in the meantime. He proceeded to tell me that that particular pipe had a lawsuit against it for being defective and that our entire house is at risk as a result. He proceeded to write 3 quotes for 3 possible solutions to our stressful situation. 1. $2000+ to bandaid it 2. $7000 to recipe the laundry/matter bedroom area and 3. $18,000 to do the entire house. My husband was out of town and I was having to take the bulk of coordinating the water restoration and the plumbing .I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown after he told me that we were in a scary situation. What a class act! Im not sure why I called Cummings in the first place because we have friend that own very reputable commercial and residential real estate in ******. I reached out to them after I felt disgusted by what the Cummings guy said and they recommended high quality people that run a business based on integrity and ethics, something Cummings is not. They fixed the situation for less than $500 with beautiful quality work and explained why that pipe cracked. Im sick to my stomach thinking that other people could fall for such scare tactics. We are just a family that would have been financially struck by this, but thankfully we reached out to our friends. Our individual business may not be that significant, but these very well known business owners, our friends are now fully aware of what Cummings did and will never consider having them service any of their new construction or current properties.Cummings Plumbing, Inc.

I contacted Cummings Plumbing to have a leak under the kitchen sink repaired. ******* from Cummings Plumbing came out mid morning and assessed the situation. ******* said the bolt underneath the sink on the drain just needed tightening, and proceeded to tighten it. I mentioned to ******* that I thought the plumbers putty around the drain where it seals may need to be redone. ******* said he was sure it just needed tightening to fix the leak. He then ran water to check for leaks and there appeared to be none. I paid Cummings Plumbing their minimum $165.00 for the service call for merely tightening a bolt underneath the sink.That evening, I was doing dishes and filled the sink with water. Before I was finished with the dishes, there was a flood of water underneath my sink.I contacted Cummings Plumbing again and told them the work that ******* did, did not resolve the leak problem. ******* Plumbing said they would send ******* out the next day to resolve the problem.The next morning ******* arrived ready to fix the leak. He again surveyed the issue and determined that the rubber gasket underneath the sink drain was probably leaking and needed to be replaced. I mentioned to ******* that I still thought the sink drain need to be re-puttied. ******* assured me it only needed a new rubber gasket. ******* went on to say that he would have to replace the whole sink drain assembly (drain, strainer, rubber gasket, etc). I then mentioned that our sink drains were gold in color. ******* said he would have to special order a gold colored sink drain. I mentioned the sink drain is brass and probably didn't need changing, and asked why he doesn't just change the rubber gasket out. ******* said that Cummings Plumbing is "just too big of a company to just change rubber gaskets out", adding that if I only want the rubber gasket changed out "I should call a handyman service".At this point, I would NOT RECOMMEND Cummings Plumbing.Cummings Plumbing, Inc.

I THINK THIS COMPANY AND THEIR STAFF ARE EXCELLENT. I HAD TO HAVE MY HOUSE RE-PIPED BECAUSE OF OLD GALVANIZED PIPIES, I ALSO I HAVE A WELL AND AN OLDER MANUFACTURED HOUSE, WHICH ADDED TO THE PROBLEM. THEY GAVE ME AN HONEST ESTIMATE AND THE VARIOUS ****S WORKED HARD EACH DAY. I WAS VERY IMPESSED WITH ****** AND HIS ABILITY TO MANAGE THE **** AND ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. HE KEPT ME INFORMED ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AT EACH STEP.. THE DRYWALL **** DID A GREAT JOB IN REPAIRING ANY DAMAGE THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO COMPLETE THE **** LASTLY, I HAD A NEW TANKLESS WATER HEATER INSTALLED AND THE ELECTRICIAN AND HIS ASSISTANT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS UP TO CODE. I WOULD RECOMEND CUMMINGS PLUMBING TO ANYONE WHO ASKS.Cummings Plumbing, Inc.

You all deserve a raise!!! ******* was able to diagnose our sewer problems correctly and handle all the details to get the problem solved. We will never use any other plumbing service. I had a new toilet installed yesterday. The men who did the work were very pleasant and did a great job. Im also very pleased with the actual product. The guys cleaned up after and everything looks great. I will definitely use this company in the futureCummings Plumbing, Inc.

******* came to give a quote to replace a pressure reducing valve outside. The work was done in half the time expected and without having to dig in the ground. He also replaced a couple of other worn-out water valves for us. He was friendly and very professional. We have had to have lots of plumbing work done in the last year on our older home and it has all been done well, with helpful and friendly service.Cummings Plumbing, Inc.

5 stars***** was organized, capable, and when confronted with an equipment failure, solved the problem, along with training an assistant on the job! You don't see commitment to the job like this every day! ***** was excellent at installing my kitchen sink hardware, but also was very personable and answered any and all questions.
