I bought a 1999 National Seaview on January 30, 2025. I paid cash in full fir the RV. It has been two months abandonment I still have no title or license plate for the vehicle. When I call to inquire about the issue I get told that there's an issue with license plate delays. I had been transfered to a number that had no name to it to discuss my issue. I left a message and never heard back. I called and left a message with the general manager asking to have this issue resolved and never got a call back. I just checked on my MVDNOW account and the RV isn't even in my name because it doesn't show as a vehicle register to me. I just get the run around and nobody responding to my issue. If feel like I have been ripped off. I gave them $9000.00 in cash and the RV isn't even registered to me. At this point I don't know what to do.

      Good afternoon,

We have reached already reached out to Mrs. Jacques but will continue to assist her in this matter.  The MVD has many moving parts, and especially if the unit in reference was titled in another state.  However, It's our responsibility to ensure Mrs. Jacque's has what she needs in order to be registered fully and current.

We will stay in contact with her until this matter is done.

On 12/3/24 we put our trailer on consignment with FRV & told it will be listed on multiple sites. FRV said bank loan amount was $13.5k but we understood the sale price to be actual value. We inc'd 2k in extras as buyer incentive. It listed only on RV Trader for $23k.After 3 attempts to contact FRV on 12/12 they said we had lookers only.On 1/1 we couldn't find the listing, sent 3 emails & a voice msg.FRV replied 1/6 that our trailer sold for $13.5k!They said they called us prior & didn't get our emails; they were in the junk folder! We werent informed of the sale they said was negotiated based on a $14k trailer that was listed before ours & still after ours sold. Was it a bait/scapegoat listing? Why had it not sold, was it defective? FRV couldnt explain who negotiated our sale, who bought it, where they were from, & why it sold for $10k less than listed w/2k worth of extras? How is it justified? Our trailer was immaculate, minimally used (5x), didnt leave AZ, fully operational & sparkling clean! They said they could have denied the sale, but our trailer would have continued to depreciate? They told us the sale could take a couple months but ours sold in less than 30 days. Comps are selling for $20k, FRV sold ours for $13.5k? FRV told us to cancel ins & reg eff Jan 1, what date was the actual sale? Why did FRV give our trailer away? We are very disappointed, feel deserving of an explanation & are concerned we have been taken advantage of. The bill of sale provided was handwritten with the wrong date. In order to recuperate some of our money, we are requesting a refund from FRV of $450 for the consign fee + $2k for the extras we included as we received considerably less than trailer value. There is a similar BBB complaint of FRV in 2022. We feel there was misleading representation & suspicious communications or is it a possible scam?

The "bottom line" is simple and clear. Freedom RV and Mrs. Cowan have a written agreement to consign this trailer for $13,000.  Freedom RV actually paid Mrs. Cowan $13,500 and delivered on an additional $500 above and beyond what was initially agreed to.

The NADA value on the trailer at the time it was consigned was $13,000 (which is where the $13,000 consignment amount came from).  At the time of it selling it had dropped in NADA to $11,700.

In today's market customers are VERY educated on values and negotiate accordingly.  That is why we list it and "ask" for much higher, because after they are done negotiating, hopefully we can end up as high as possible.  Where we start and where we finish are 2 completely different things (especially in today's market).

In this case, the selling process and all that it intel's isn't as important as what we ended up selling it for versus what the unit was consigned for in our written and signed agreements.

I will agree to reimburse the $450 consignment fee out of good faith.

      Better Business Bureau:

The "bottom line" is simple and clear. Freedom RV ripped us off. We clearly stated on day 1 that we were not in agreement selling our trailer for the bank loan amt of $13k, AND the business failed to notify us when it was sold; no record of the sale was provided - this failure to communicate is completely unprofessional. Returning our consignment fee is only partially the right thing to do but claiming 'good faith' is not honesty or sincerity of intention. Consumers should be discouraged doing consignment with this business. However, if customers are looking to buy an RV or trailer, it should be known that they can negotiate a price that is at least $10k less than the asking price.

      To whom it may concern,

I'm very sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your purchased Class C (2021 Entegra Odyssey).  Having invested over $4,000 in service on this RV on behalf of Mr. Brown's purchase, we are a little frustrated as well.  The good news is; that none of these issues are too big and can be repaired efficiently and timely.  I will be having my head of service (Brad White) reach out to Mr. Brown immediately.  In order to set up an appointment to get these repairs performed.

As the general manger, I just wish that I would have been afforded the opportunity to resolve this matter prior to feeling as though a complaint was necessary.  I can't help if I don't know.

We look forward to getting these necessary repairs performed and getting these customers "back on the road".

Came in to purchase a Rv and got the run around with poor communication. Picked out a Rv was told we're approved so they started the paperwork and gave down payment to only find out at the end there was no approval yet... said 24 hours they would call me, ( no call) I sent Joe a text asking status and no response, called owner ( no response) call next in line left a message ( no reply) then Joe responded all of a sudden and said it's my day off...Joe told me they got an approval but waiting on other approvals.... finally 4:15 pm got a call from so called finance manager that was stumbling in conversation and at this point I gave up on this nonsense. Rv was to go into shop prior to delivery Tuesday and Thursday appeared to still be on the lot.. dealer added a $1400 fee for repairs on a used Rv... Total confusion and poor communication. All we did was try and buy a Rv. Never again total waste of time. A+ qualified customers.
Still no call back from Joe owners son. Wow!

I VERY sorry to hear of this customer's dissatisfaction with Freedom RV.  Mr. Yahraes deposit of $6,000 has been credited back and we wish him the very best of luck.  Again, Freedom RV is VERY sorry to hear just how disappointed Mr. Yahraes is with our purchase and delivery process.

We purchased an RV from Freedom RV on 19 Sept 22. When the deal was made all cost was supposed to be included in the financing agreement including sales tax. We noticed they only put in 4% sales tax and ours is 6%. We brought this to the attention of the salesman and we’re told it would be easier for them to just give us a check for the $818.08 difference than to redo all the paperwork and financing. The salesman continued to tell me the department in charge of getting me the check was working on it and his manager was pushing them to get it done. Then on 25 April 23 all communication from the dealership was cut off. I have all the text messages with the salesman telling me my money was on the way.

      To whom it may concern,

In 24 + years of managing in the RV business in Tucson, AZ, this is the first time ever that a customer expected us to pay their tax owed to their state?  Mr. Palso titles in Wyoming.  Per the state tax code index (Sales of motor vehicles to nonresidents), Wyoming has a 4.0% tax rate and is reciprocal.  There for a dealer cannot charge a customer more than the stated 4.0%.  If upon titling, the state of Wyoming demands more than the 4.0%, that amount or difference is the obligation of the customer, Not the dealer.  Mr. Palso was not charged extra tax, if he was then it would be our responsibility to reimburse.

That being said, if Mr. Palso is under the impression that Freedom RV was going to take care of his additional tax for him, then I will personally process a check for $818.08 and get it sent out as soon as possible.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20316492, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

On 9/15/2022 I purchased a Winnabago Minnie Class C that showed on all of the paperwork I signed showed it as a 2020 model, after a few weeks I did not receive mail with the license paperwork so I reached out to the AZ Motor Vehicle department and they showed me that the VIN number was a 2019 model and even though I had a temporary ADOT paper with the VIN number the 2019 was so small I didn't notice and became very anxious because I would never bought a 2019 model. My next guide was to reach out to the AZ Attorney General Office and I was just told that I should reach out to your office for possible help.
The total funding price is $59,149.60 and I pay $485.22 per month also insurance fees as well. I do not live in AZ but I am here in my sister's house and I want them to take it back as I want to return to Costa Rica. I was a USAF military agent and my next position was working for the Transportation Security Administration and retired in 2015.

      TeTo whom it
      may concern,

      The
RV that ****** **** ******** purchased is absolutely a 2020 Winnebago Minnie Winnie.  Every RV manufactured has both a model year and
vin number for the RV itself as well as a model year and vin number for the
chassis.  It’s very common for the
chassis model year to differ from the RV model year.

      In
this case the manufacturer for the RV is Winnebago and it’s a 2020 model
year.  In this case the manufacturer for
the chassis is Ford and it’s a 2019 model year.

      The
AZ ADOT titles based on the RV vin number and model year and not the chassis
vin number and model year.  If the
incorrect vin number (chassis) was given to AZ ADOT, then that’s where the
      confusion took place.

      I’ve
been a RV General Manager in the state of Arizona for over 20 years and have
dealt with this exact scenario on more than one occasion when the incorrect vin
number is provided to AZ ADOT.

      Mrs.
Huesmann needs to simply provide AZ ADOT the correct RV manufacturer vin number
and it will show up as a 2020.  Freedom
RV is willing to assist in this process if needed.

      Respectfully,
