  We went to purchase a travel trailer just moving to ******. We were shown several new travel trailers as we shared we had good credit and were looking to purchase a trailer to live in. We were shown a used 2014 Keystone Laredo which we liked much more than the new ones which were the same decor and very basic really. We were told if we put a down payment then we could get a good rate and be able to get this soon. We put down $15000 and then financed $15000 at over 9% interest. The trailer had been recently traded in. The delivery was pushed back 4 days due to 'priority' of other customers and a supposedly busy weekend. The delivery person did help us set it up. Several things appeared to not have been reviewed or cleaned as it was supposed to. We realized too late that we were being charged way too much for the year and model of trailer we purchased. We paid it off right away to not be charged the ridiculous interest (we have EXCELLENT credit) and not to be charged all the interest on top of the sale price. It is unfortunate to not be able to trust a dealer to be fair in their practices. We would not recommend anyone purchase from Freedom RV.

  I'm very sorry to hear you feel that way. I have been a ***** in the Tucson market for 25 + years, and the ** business has NEVER been more difficult and challenging to remain in business than now. I looked at your deal in light of your opinion on the cost. All I can share is that we made no profit and even lost just a little bit. That makes me just as frustrated as you are, considering you're posting a bad review on a deal that actually was non profitable. We are fighting the fight in order to try and sustain our 50 + years of being in business. As for the rate, the bank and the market dictates that, not us.   Buyer Beware, this place will take your money and not stand behind their work.This is a safety notice for those concerned about safety on the road. Freedom RV installed a tow bar incorrectly on my 2005 ******, and the tow bar became detached from the *** The car slapped around the back of the *** and when I was able to get the rig to a stop, I found out the hitch pin was missing. A hitch pin does not go missing unless the securing pin is not installed. I got a locking hitch pin and made it home with my smashed up car.When I brought up the incident with Freedom RV, they acted like they had never seen me! This could have killed someone, and they were obstinate that their install was my responsibility to inspect before taking to the road. That is why I paid them $5000 so I would know it was done right. Well it wasn't.....Couple that with they got grease all over and ruined my carpets, they scratched my vehicle while installing the tow plate and somehow managed to make my auto flusher inoperable.Save yourself the grief, do not let these amateurs touch your rig or you will be sorry!!!

  To whom it may concern,Upon initially learning of this accident/incident I feel the same today as I did that day. That is very glad that no one was injured or hurt. Like everything in life, there are 2 sides to every story. Although I appreciate ********************** version of events I could not disagree more.Freedom RV has installed thousands of these systems over our long tenure of 25 + years in the ** business. It has always been our policy for the technician to triple check the proper installation of these type of tow systems as well as our service manager to inspect prior to delivery as well. This case was no different. After speaking with both the technician as well as service manager, they both confirmed that this tow system was installed properly. The pin was in place as well as the ****** pin securing it. ********************** is 100% sure of our inspection prior to ********************** ***** plus drive to ****** were he ultimately had this mishap some ***** + miles later. ****************** admitted that he never once inspected the hitch, ball, or securing pin and ****** pin at any moment throughout his journey across *****************. I'm glad to hear that ****************** purchased a locking pin. Especially considering that the regular pin with ****** pin design, is a very highly stolen item. Someone removes the ****** pin and then simply pulls out the pin. In fact, as a result we sell many of just the hitch package pins in our parts department for customers who had there's stolen.I was also glad to hear that ****************** made a successful insurance claim as well. We wish ****************** the very best of luck and are very sorry that this happened to him. However, Freedom RV had nothing to do with this incident/accident that occurred some 2+ days and over ***** miles traveled later.Respectfully,************************* General Manager Freedom RV

  I brought in my coach to have extensive work done, knowing it'll cost thousands of dollars. The main issue was a slideout alignment and rewire issue, to include numerous other unrelated issues. In short, they refused to work on my "entire" coach. Stating the slideout wood was too water damaged to work on. And they didn't want the liability. I admit, I was upset. So I thankly drove away at no cost. Went home, unpacked my tools since I was preparing to move, and realigned my slideout, myself. Doing this in less than 3 hours. I also found other issues contributing to slideout operations like the old carpet binding under the slideout as it was going in (which new floor installation was on the list of repairs), and my ******* slideout control box was inoperable (hence the electrical bypass issue). The "wood" excuse had nothing to do with my slideout operation. Thankly, I now have a fully functioning slideout system that seals perfectly. Don't worry, I'll do everything else on my own since, in these times, you can't trust professionals anymore. I just got reminded why I retired, because in these times, I've seen way to many times, the complete lack of effort, knowledge and motivation. It's seeming like this type of effortless excuse to not do your job is becoming the true epidemic. Shame.

  To whom it may concern,I'm very sorry to hear of your experience and thank you for sharing. However, in this case, I have to stand behind the honest and transparent decision that was made by my service department. We did not sell your RV but still appreciated the opportunity at your service. We could have misled you, lied to you, or not be transparent, but if we did any of those things, I would expect a much different review and response. Freedom RV did nothing wrong. I'm glad to hear there was no charge and that you ultimately fixed it on your own to your own "liking".
