  My car serviced at *********************** located at oracle and *****, for 11 yrs. No problem. Recently, needed a battery. I have my car service same company but located at golflinks and ****. Yes, battery change Friday morning, pick up my car went home. As soon as I stop the car as I arrived home, this loud noise and smoke coming out under the hood. Called shop and told them what happened. ***** send ***** to look and claim its ok. Car still drivable. Drove car to the gym, as soon as I stop car make that weird noise again and I smell something burning. Called the shop and said well, bring it over. Now they found that coolant and tubes were distoryed. Car ac fluid are all over. parts was replaced and done. Saturday afternoon her come the biggest problem. Went to a party, driving over is good. Except, on the way home, I was driving down slope of *************************, my car power went off, lock the wheels. I have tried so hard not get off the cleft, and manage to have the car in a safe place. As soon as I stop, I cant get out of the car, big smoke coming from under the hood. Called 911. Thankfully my 9 yr old daughter manage to get out of the car at the back set. 911 agent assure me to have someone coming. For the mean time I went and open the hood to look what is going on. It was hot that burnt my hand but manage to open it. There I was, looking and found fire coming under the battery. Called 911 again, told them my car is on fire. Sheriff arrived in the scene first and put the fire out. Then fire department arrived to check and make sure fire are totally out. With the situation I have experienced. The trauma brought to me and my daughter is significant enough to motivate me to file this complaint that other people would not experience it. *****, my daughter and I is safe. I need to have this known to the public that car is our second home and we trust the people to work in our car that they do their job to keep our people and street safe.

  Dear BBB,
  We are sorry that the ******* family had trouble with their car, they have been good customers over the years and we hate to see anything like this happen.
  We did repair an A/C line and replaced the battery for them shortly before the car failed. When the car came in the ** line had come apart,it lost the refrigerant and dripped oil and green dye on the engine which caused the burning smell. We replaced the line and recharged the ** and it was working normally. The battery was also weak so we replaced it. 
  Yesterday we had the vehicle towed to our location on east 22nd st. and after a thorough inspection we found that the car had an electrical problem that was unrelated to the repairs we did. We asked *************************** to come over to the shop so we could show him exactly what we found. ****** looked at the car and when we showed him where the problem started, he understood and could see it was not related to our repairs but more an unfortunate occurrence that had probably been developing over the years and miles.
  We appreciate all the business we have done with the ******* family in the past and will try to help them any way we can but this problem was not caused by the work we had done.

  Stop taking your auto to JF. All of them, especially the onenear 22nd and *******. I've had parts missing from my vehicles (plural) and had to purchase because JF wouldn't admit to fault. I've had hub caps missing because they installed HUBCAPs wrong. I've had parts loose because they did not check the vehicle before releasing it back to me. They have even refused to work on a vehicle THEY say because of age of the vehicle. And now, Upcharged on brakes bcuz of a slight Grove in the drum. They all have slight grooves, unless it's been just made. And then you don't ************* back repaired if you don't agree. They claim policy, of course, and your stuck with a higher bill. I personally checked the brakes. I know how the drums were. JF is a fraud. I gave plenty of opportunity,If anyone is listening. Stop going to JF. It's a rip off.
