*************** is the worst regional manager. NVA as a whole just cares about the money. No respect for their employees.

Last year (1923) I took my fox terrier there because I found a small lump/tumor under her front leg. The vet said it was not cancer and to leave it alone. I asked him what it would cost to remove it if it grew larger and he quoted me $700-$800+!!! They took an X-ray and charged $80+ for a visit of 30 minutes. As of now, it is double in size but vet bills are ridiculous compared to MY medical bills!

Since NVA, a private equity group, purchased ******************************** in *********, **, the prices that are charged have skyrocketed. For example, in the last 24 months, the price for a basic dental cleaning package for my dog has increased over $80. Also, the top vet in the practice -who had been there many years- left for another clinic, and there is so much turnover with staff that the minute you get to know the name of one person then they're gone. As is typic of private equity groups, their only loyalty is to making money for themselves and their shareholders. That is lethal to a veterinary clinic who is supposed to be dedicated to the care of its patients. Today, this private equity group emailed us clients they they are changing their mobile app -again- this time to one that no longer offers loyalty points which are critical for many of us trying to pay the super high fees they charge. This PE ownership is ruining the best veterinary clinic I've ever taken my dogs to and depriving our community of quality care for our pets. My advice to pet owners, based on my experience-- any NVA-owned veterinary clinic like the plague.

NVA owned clinics violate the **** They fired my daughter telling her "she just didn't fit" and to "get her mental health in order". She has anxiety and depression. They pick and choose the kind of people they want. It's been my experience that the animals don't like any of them except my child. Why else would they call her in continuously handle "difficult animals"?

From ****** ******. Since NVA took over our one clinic quality of care is questionable. Prices are unaffordable. And now the only vet here is doing travel medicine. Leaving no vet here for our pets. It is not ok to leave the clinic with techs to handle sick animals and emergencies. NVA has been aware of this and has no solution. This is an island and if your animal is hurt or sick you have to figure out how to stabilize and transport via alaska airlines to *********. NOT OK ALSO WOULD RATE 0 STARS

If I could put no stars I would. They do not care for their employees or customers. I worked in a facility that was bought out by nva and after they took over it was horrible. They brought new people in at 16 but wouldnt give the employees that had been killing themselves anything until this April. I was talked into doing the dog training, had no one to work with like everyone else, had no one to do a shadow week with so I couldnt fully get certified, they were charging ******************************** the same rate. I did not get a raise I was actually threatened that my extra dollar that I had earned as a supervisor after three months of employment would be taken. If you threaten to go above your manager they will find a way to fire you and they actually call HR to figure out how to do so. I was fired for reporting an issue with a manager and they person above them could care less when I reported it to them. They absolutely put profits over people, their revenue was 3.6 billion last year and they pay the people that literally run their business next to nothing, not even a livable wage. Do yourself a favor and find anywhere else to work its not worth the headache. After working here it literally changed how I see things.

Greed and ineptitude at the top is sending veterinarians and other staff at the bottom running for the hills. No wonder turnover is so high. Company needs to do some real soul searching. Whats more important, how big the margins are or maintaining and improving the veterinary field? Because what they are doing is moving the field backwards.
