I returned my leased **** and started a new lease for a Tucson in January 2025. In February I was charged the monthly lease amount for the car I already had returned in addition to the new car. I called the dealership at least 5 times. On two occasions I spoke with someone in the ****************** and was assured I would be issued a check/refund. I was told it could take a while with no further information. 5 months later, and I still have no check and no follow up.Initial Complaint

On 12/28/2024, we were charged $23,649 for a used Hyundai Ionic. The original price was $16,927. Extra fees were added for new tires, a new alarm, a catalytic converter etch, and 3M guard. The sales *** told us the car needed new tires, and assured us it would be ready on 12/30. He didnt explain that he was charging $179. In the finance office, we negotiated a Hyundai Protection Plan, which we thought was $87 per month. We did not realize buying that came with charges for the alarm, etch, and guard, none of which we wanted. We also signed a document declining the catalytic converter etch, but we were charged anyway. All the paperwork was signed electronically, and we were never shown the Federal Truth in Lending Disclosure. All we were shown was where to sign. We also never received any physical or digital copies of the paperwork at the time of sale; we had to call Hyundai later and request an email with attached documents, which we received on 1/22/2025. At that point the work had been completed, but we did not receive the vehicle until several days after 12/30, despite multiple calls to the dealer.Initial Complaint

Yesterday, November 16, 2024 I saw a used car listing on ********** for a Used 2017 ***** Civic EX with ****** miles and a listed price of $15,000. ****** rated this a great value because it is $2210 below the Carfax value of $17,210. This is for VIN #***************** and Stock #PA20704. It stated that photos were coming soon. We were the first ones viewing the car and took it for a test drive. It met the criteria we were looking for minus at least a dozen paint chipped off on the front of the car and two quite noticeable deeper paint chips on the back of the car. We went inside to discuss purchasing the car, but then the manager arrived telling us that they couldn't sell it to us for the listed price of $15,000, because that was too low for them to make money and that the price is more like $24,000 because we would have to purchase the dealership aftermarket items for $7500 and warranty packages for $2500 (the car is past the original warranty time frame). He then said we could negotiate down from $24,000, not up from the $15,000 price they chose to list it at. We told them this is a classic bait and switch tactic and that's not what they advertised the car for, especially when I asked them who added all the aftermarket features and it was their dealership, not *****, so they wouldn't let us opt out of purchasing the added mark *** even though we said we didn't want them. How can a car dealership advertise a used car at $15,000, but then tell the customer in person the actual price is $24,000? We were so ***et for them wasting our time with false advertising, and especially our daughter who was purchasing her first car thinking this is how buying a car is supposed to be.Initial Complaint

The contract that I presumably signed did not contain the same details as the alternative contract that was provided. The finance person gave me a thumb drive that should have shown the contract break down it did not . We only signed other documents but the contract was not divided. The next day I asked the finance person to send me a copy and realized they had added services I didnt agree to.Initial Complaint

I would like to file a formal complaint against Anaheim Hyundai regarding ongoing unresolved issues. I have called multiple times to request the services promised under the Ally Protection Plan, but I have not received any assistance. The company has also failed to respond to my emails, signed-for letters, and callback requests. Despite their refusal to cancel the plan, they have not provided the services Ive ************ February 2024, I discovered that the Ally Protection Plan was added to my account without my knowledge. While I was fine with the ************************* I have made several attempts through calls and letters to resolve the issue, but I have yet to receive any response.Additionally, I had to wait four months to finally receive the title for my vehicle in January 2024, and I am still experiencing delays with getting my title in ******* for registration. Im unsure if this is due to the dealership or the financial institution, but *** purchased out-of-state vehicles before and never faced such delays.I hope the BBB can assist in resolving these matters, as all of my attempts to communicate with the company have been unsuccessful.Documentation and **** signed mail delivery is also available upon request and emails plus call logs.Initial Complaint

Visited the dealership 7/15/24 to inquire about a used 2021 Tacoma for sale. Left the dealership after an hour because they could not find the keys to the vehicle. My sales *** ********* contacted me later that day via text message to tell me they found the keys and to come back the next day. I had noticed a couple things wrong with the truck (notably a broken fog light) while there earlier and told him I was only willing to come back if the truck was ready for me to drive it home. He assured me the truck would be ready. I went back to the dealership on 7/16/24 to test drive the vehicle and decided to purchase it for $46,000. While filling out paperwork I was told the truck won't be ready due to additional inspection work and ******* will deliver the vehicle personally to my house that evening. I completed the paperwork and took an **** back home. That evening I received a text message saying the truck would not be ready until Thursday. ******* also informed me he was going to be off for the next two days so I would have to speak to someone else for updates. I feel I was intentionally misled by this sales *** that the truck was ready before they had completed their necessary inspections/service in order to secure his commission and not lose the sale over his days off. This unplanned period of having no vehicle ended up being very disruptive as well as required me to incur several hundred dollars in unplanned expenses (rental car, Lyft fees to and from the dealership). Three days later, the truck was delivered with the same broken fog light that I was told would be ***aired. I called the dealership immediately and was told the part was being ordered and they would contact me when received to finish the ***air. Now almost a month later, they have not contacted me. When I call, they send me to voicemail and do not return my messages. I feel this dealership knowingly partook in deceitful/misleading business practices in effort to obtain my business.
