I was a long-time Sprint customer.January 2022, I walked into Store number 2JSB, located at ******************************************************************* (Previously my local Sprint Store) to pay off my (4) i-Phone 11's. *****, the agent at the counter whom attended me informed me "now that the i-phones are paid off they can be traded-in for the i-phone 13's as they are the same worth ($800)". I advised her I was not interested in upgrading to anything that was going to increase my bill. I was paying $110 for 4 lines with Sprint, plus now all my phones were paid off, why would I want another bill? ***** insisted the service was better and the switch must be made anyway due to ******** combining with Sprint. ***** then proceeded to encourage me to upgrade, stating the phones would be "FREE" being that they had a trade-in promo going on, and the phones were paid off, and at equal value to the i-phone 13's. Also, she advised me 4 lines on their "magenta plan" would only total $140 monthly, so my bill would only increase by $30. I told ***** if she could put that in writing where I can have the contract in hand stating exactly that, I would be willing to switch and upgrade all the phones. ***** agreed and wrote out the contract for me. March 2022, I noticed my bill jumped up to $240, contrary to the contract agreement. I called ******** customer service to ask what was going on and was advised the local dealer, operated by Arch Telecom, **** had mishandled the promo and I would have to go back to the store to have them fix it. I called the local dealer on 3-way. ***********************, the store manager insisted and promised the ******** supervisor on the phone that he would take care of it and get his regional manager involved. I called the local dealer and called ******** customer service throughout the months of March through May with no success. I finally decided to switch out to ******** ******** supervisor promised they would override any fee's due to the havoc, but now I have a $2k bill.
