Our party of 5 had bought tickets for general admission in advance to see Grent ***** live for 5/25/25 7pm. During the concert, we decided to upgrade our tickets to sit in the upper level VIP due to one of our party members experiencing a number of sudden onset health issues from the crowded environment on the floor after the opening act. These VIP tickets were bought from the counter in front of the entrance to the lobby during the intermission. Upon asking the woman working at the counter if there were any VIP upgrades available, the woman stated "Only the VIP Suite is available. It will be $100 per ticket." We audibly had our discussion at the counter, noting the price hike from the earlier $40 that was being offered before the show with no word from the staff member. We decided to take the seats for a better and safer experience, given our blue stickers, and brought to our seating area in suite 7. We first noticed that there were only 4 soft seatings but 1 folding chair which we weren't told about. The view was good so we overlooked this. However, it should be noted that during the show, my phone was in airplane mode to save battery. Had it been clarified to me that my contact information was taken Not Only for promotional texts and emails or a digital reciept (which I didn't get anyway), I would have turned off my airplane mode and recieved the text message about our Guaranteed Access to the After Party in the Foundation Room Lounge. Even after the encore, we had lingered at the top level for more than 20mins with our blue VIP stickers on clearly on display and walked out of the venue not knowing what we missed out on. Not one staff member interjected and told us about the after party during the ticket upgrade, at our seats, or as we were walking out of the venue. No verbal or written instructions were given to us to expect this text to stay after the concert. It absolutely breaks my heart that we paid for this experience "guaranteed" but was not told about it.
