My first taste of MarkIV was a property for rent in Paso Robles. I went through all the steps and got everything submitted just to find out by email, not phone with a live person, that the property owner had decided to go with someone else. Considering it was within a day of when I submitted everything that tells me the decision had already been made before I submitted everything but they wanted the money for the application fee anyway. That agent was Jennifer Nelson. I would strongly suggest never even considering doing business with her. She has no qualms about being dishonest if it means she makes MarkIV a buck. After telling her what I thought about her filthy business ethics I stupidly accepted her explanation and gave MarkIV a second chance. This time I had my sister in law drive up to Paso from Nipomo to do a walkthrough of a property, only the walkthrough never happened because the key was missing from the lockbox. That's right, a wasted trip. Nobody from MarkIV bothered to help her get in either. They flat didn't care. No help, no shits given. I called and told the office that based on the pictures posted online of the interior and the walk-around of the outside that I was comfortable moving forward with it. They said they would forward my packet to the property manager and get back to me. 4 days later I called to see what the progress was but the lady handling it wouldn't take my call. Finally at the very end of the day this lady, Irene Dinaso, emailed informing me that the owner had chosen to take the house off the market for rental and just sell it. Then she felt the need to try to be nasty and tell me that my credit score was low enough that it would be difficult to place me in a property. Interesting considering I got approved for a townhome in Paso, same day I applied, with zero issue. Like literally none. As long as J******* ****** and I**** ****** are at MarkIV I cant warn you strongly enough to skip MarkIV and use a different company.
