    Owner Guaranteed I would get my CDL in 4 weeks but that was not the case. In the four weeks I was there, I only got to drive a total of 2 minutes. The owner got annoyed I wasnt getting the shifting right instantly and got me off the drivers seat. He then said I would never catch and suggested I do an automatic semi. When I asked if we could rent an automatic semi he said yes and he agreed to teach me the different pre check procedures. Finally when my time was up and I had passed everything but my behind the wheel test(we rescheduled for another day). He said he would not teach me how to do the pre check for an automatic semi. He showed me a video of a previous student who also struggled with a manual semi. He said he was able to learn and encouraged me that I would be able to as well. All I needed to do was pay him more money to learn. While I was there, half his class didnt pass because they never had time to get behind the wheel. The school was over booked and understaffed. His advice to student who were unhappy with not getting to drive.was to go to a semi dealership and practice shifting there. Or find someone you know to teach you. That advice was so bad because we are paying him to teach us!!!
