    ***** from Garden Winds. I am out $350.00. She told me to mail my items back to get a refund and now after they received the items back now they are telling me there is a no refund policy. Why would she tell me to mail the items back if I dont get a refund. Now I am out of my items and my money. Please refund me my money

    I placed an order for a canopy replacement on May 17, 2025. I received the item, but when I was putting it on the gazebo, it ripped. I notified Garden Winds and included photos as they had asked. They replied to my email that the ripped canopy was still under warranty and that I would receive a replacement in five to six business days. The canopy never came, so I called the company, and they said the item is on back order until Sept. 30, 2025. That is too late for me, as summer will be over in ********, plus they initially told me to expect the replacement in six days. They never notified me that the item was on back order. After the phone conversation, they emailed me stating they could send the lower-quality gazebo. I asked about a price adjustment, and they told me "no". Attached is the email thread, but it does not include the phone conversation. They should refund me fully for the ripped canopy or offer a price adjustment if they send me the lower-quality canopy. I think they are not being truthful about how they list their warranty.

    Their website said "UNIVERSAL 10x10 MOSQUITO NETTING SET. I ordered end of August 2024 and put away to install after the winter/wind season. February 23, 2025, I put up and discovered it was a whole foot too short for my gazebo. I called the company and they said it was past the 30 day of return so they would not exchange. They also said they say it will not fit all gazebos and I looked and way at the bottom of their web page, it does say that in smaller print. I asked why they didn't post the length along with the width i.e. 10x10x6.5 instead of saying "UNIVERSAL 10x10 to avoid this? I don't know who could use such a short net and suspect this is just a way to unload. They do not honor any problems or defects after the order date when their 30 days start. Their BOGO at 50% off will do you no good when you go to put the second one up if it's defective.

    In late August of last year I noticed a tear in my canopy. I went to the Garden Winds website, followed their instructions and ordered a replacement canopy. Since it was the end of the 'canopy season' when it arrived, I wrote CANOPY on the box and put it in may basement until spring. In early June I took it out and it didn't fit. I texted the company and sent numerous photos and supporting info. This verified that I ordered the correct canopy. They refused a refund because I am beyond their return period. I explained what I had done and they said that is my fault. I asked for a replacement instead of a refund, to which they replied. "We mass produce them. If that one doesn't fit, none we have will." I pointed out that I ordered what they recommended. They agreed and apologized. They said they could offer me a 30% discount on a future purchase within 30 days. I pointed out that they don't have a usable product for me, by their own admission (and in spite of what they said when I ordered and again when I verified that it was the right product. ) I am requesting a full refund as they are acknowledging a defective product but continuing to sell it.

    On Saturday May 27, 2023 I tried to order a replacement awning YJAF-819R from Garden Winds website. I did not order two different ones. The bill says I ordered YJAF-819R Red and a Beige and the total was $522.88. I immediately attempted to cancel the order. The website opened a window in which no information appeared. I waited for the cancellation. It never came. I tried a few times with no luck. I called ************ and recording said were closed for the Memorial Day holiday. I then sent two emails to cancel this order. I got a response from ***** the next day. His email says it cannot be cancelled because it had already shipped. out. According to ***** the package was not picked up for delivery until Tuesday afternoon. Allowing for plenty of time to fulfill my cancel order, which I requested on their order form, their telephone service and their email service. Attached ***** tracking and the Garden Winds email correspondence.
