      Started transaction 01/23/2023. My problem was not with any of the nurses there at the facility, but the front desk/reception. While the girls were VERY friendly, I do not feel for someone like myself and others who are paying for a healthcare service things were handled correctly. Every time I came in, I had an appointment. I would wait in the lobby for ***** minutes each time. This was not just a one time thing, but an every time thing. I felt they had too many people booked and not enough rooms/nurses. Then, the girls at the desk were very chatty and as someone who also works in a medical facility, felt that certain things should not be discussed with other people. My 2nd visit, they had been trying to upsell me on laser removal for my legs. My father had just died, I told them I didn't have the money, and they just wanted to tell me that I was missing out on an opportunity on a good deal. They finally told me they would make a popup on my account so they wouldn't ask again. They asked me this stuff when there were other people in the lobby. Why not have a consult room or talk to me privately in the room during my service? Another horrible experience. One of the times I waited 40 minutes, women who came in after me (yes I understand for different services) finally I asked if there was a problem because it was taking so long. She told me nothing was wrong. A few more minutes she asks my name, and they realize the nurse pulled the wrong person back. They were so behind they couldn't work me in and ended up having to reschedule me. Lastly, after my sessions my results are worse than when I started. I now have patchy areas, and now my arm pit hair has all grown back. I'm back to shaving daily. I am very unhappy and already have heard horror storries of how they don't do refunds. I do no want to do service with them again, and just want my money back so I can go elsewhere and get better results.

      Thanks for reaching out. With laser hair removal, we typically suggest beginning with at least 8 treatments. On average, patients may see up to 80% reduction but of course, the degree of improvement may vary with each person and even between areas as there are many factors to consider such as hormones, hair thickness, ethnicity, etc. If your hair is patchy, that is a great indication that the treatment has been effective. Please remember that reduction does not happen in a linear fashion but rather only about 10% of hairs are targeted on average each treatment. Reduction occurs gradually over time with consistency.

      Upon review, it appears your treatments were performed within the recommended time frame as well as on the appropriate settings. You may just be one of those patients who responds a bit more stubbornly to treatment. Please be assured it is not uncommon for some patients to need more treatments to achieve their desired results which is why we offer existing patients 55% off on previously purchased areas to extend their package either on a single treatment basis or for a 3 treatment package. For further reduction, it is encouraged that you continue treatment and purchase additional areas. As a courtesy, we are happy to extend 1 complimentary treatment for all of your treated areas for your dissatisfaction and to help with your results. 

      However, as services are elective and have been fully rendered, LaserAway does not offer refunds for completed treatments.

      They completely failed to talk about the customer service that I received time and time again. Why would I want to step back into one of their locations after how I was treated before and then why would I step into a location after my complaint knowing that Im unhappy and not satisfied. This is not acceptable. They didnt even talk to me on a personal level the entire response was scripted

      Thank you for taking the time to explain that it was just an educational approach. While I appreciate your attempts, it is not personal. I feel that I spent so much money, that the experience received did not justify the price I paid. While I appreciate the offer for coming in for one treatment, I honestly no longer live close to laser away like I had stated. I moved over an hour away, and after my experiences before, do not wish to have to return. All I am asking for is a refund for what was paid, so that I can put this behind me and honestly not have to think about this again. I truly, truly wish that I had not chosen to do this. Again, this is not directed at you, but the experience that was had at this location.

      These people are liars, dishonest, scam people. I spent almost $6000 on ***** hair removal for my daughter with now results. They promise you results, they tell complete lies. They take your money and run. The first 2 treatments were incredible, then after that they turn the ***** power down so then suddenly the hair keeps growing. Then they say buy 3 more it should work, of course it didnt. Then they said spend $2000 more and I was astounded. After spending $6000 they asked for me. By this time I have had 10 laser treatments with no results for my daughter. Absolutely disgusting, The customer service is horrendous, rude people. Then they made us very uncomfortable even walking in their facility. I want my money back and no one even tries to help me.

      Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with results. As with most procedures, results can vary from person to person as well as area to area. We advise that patients will begin with 8 treatments on average, and may see up to 80% reduction. However, there are multiple factors that can affect a person's results which is also why we advise that 8 treatments is really just a starting point and additional treatments may be needed. This is why we offer our existing patients a 55% discount on 3 treatment packages or single treatments to extend their package whether for further reduction or maintenance. Unfortunately, LaserAway cannot make any guarantees as to how many treatments may be required to reach your desired amount of reduction or what the final result of reduction may be. This is also discussed in your consents prior to treatment. 

      Since services are elective and have been rendered, LaserAway does not offer refunds for completed services.

      Date of transaction 09/01/2023 The business committed to help tightens skin, smooths wrinkles, long lasting results in one treatment.After the treatment, my belly popped up blisters from extreme heat of the machine After 6 months, my wrinkle from my treated area remains the same. The scar from the blisters still present The business offer me a hydroquinone to light up my scar but didnt want to be responsible for the results. They replied that I need more treatment to get the results that I desire which was completely different to whats on their advertising.

      First and foremost I have attempted numerous time to resolve this with the business but have not been successful at getting responses so I feel that this is my only option. I unfortunately do not get phone calls or email responses. I have had numerous issues with the business. When I call the location some staff can't seem to find what I have purchased depending on who answers the phone. It's scary because I have purchased multiple packages while standing at the check out counter. I receive a prepaid invoice, pay in full and have headed on my way. All I have to show is an invoice. No contract and yet some staff can't even find it in the computer. I find that scary that they can charge thousands and not have proof. Thankfully I have my invoice for the charge but that's it. I have prepaid thousands for treatments I have not received and yet they can't find it. It is extremely concerning to me. The other issues I have are with the laser hair removal and Xeomin placement. Due to the issues I no longer want to use any of the packages or unused Xeomin and Juviderm purchased at discounted rates. I don't feel comfortable because the Xeomin wasn't placed properly in my opinion and I ended up with headaches due to it being placed too low. In regards to the laser hair removal I mentioned to the nurses that I wasn't losing the hair repeatedly. The last time I was there the nurse had mentioned it was because they had not increased the setting from the beginner setting. She made the adjustment and I'm thankful she did but that was a little too late. I feel that the staff prior were either not properly trained, it was done so I would require more treatments or the nurses were not listening to my concerns. I am the ideal candidate considering I have light skin and dark hair. I have had friends who have much darker pigmentation and had treatment at other facilities with much more effective results. I am also an RN and have friends that perform these procedures. In addition to that it's extremely hard to get an appointment at the ********* office due to staffing issues. It takes at least a couple months so if you need to reschedule it's impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner to have effective hair removal. I will say the staff is pleasant but the service is sub par. I am ok with paying for the 1 vial of Juvederm filler that I used. I will also pay for a small amount of Xeomin placement I've had. I would like a refund for everything else. I have no intention of returning or finishing treatments since I can't get in, in the timely manner that is required for effective laser hair removal plus and feel that it's not effective due to the reasons above. I also didn't feel that the Xeomin was placed properly the last visit but I'll still pay for it. I feel that I am wasting my time and money not to mention staff can't always seem to find what I have purchased in the computer and I can't go to a place that can't even to do that. Please refund me for the packages/membership, unused products and the refund for the laser hair removal because it was not done properly. I spent over $7,000 with little to show for it. I do not want to return.

      I purchased a package on 09/02/2023 for 10 laser hair treatments of face w/ free underarms w/ laser away representative *********************** for the amount of ********. At my first treatment I ended up walking out because the technician would not laser below jaw line. When in their treatment book it states up to 1 inch below jaw line. I spoke with ****** same day and she apologized for my experience at the ****** location and convinced me to stay. Subsequently every visit there after was always something wrong with techs. On my 4th and last appointment on 01/19/2024 for laser to face I asked tech to laser my nose and she said no that they don't do that, I then replied your the first tech to tell me this (nose is part of treatment for face). At this point I said enough I gave them plenty of opportunities to do right and they continue to fail. I called laser away several times with the promise that someone would call me back with in ***** hours and up to date I still have not received a phone call. During appointments 12/08/2023 and 01/19/2024 they wrote that underarms where done together with face and they where not. Only face was treated during these visits. On 03/26/2024 one of my many calls to front office at laser away she said it would be easy just to refund me back and I thought to my self really all this fuss for this person to just say it was this easy. So I told her really even after I have had treatments at this point she realized her mistake and advised me she would have to request for refund. It is not my fault she did not check before. I was also told that if I no longer wanted treatments that I would have to pay what I had already gotten done a la carte which was a ridiculous amount and at the end they would only refund me ***** dollars out of ********. which would mean that they are charging me about 548.00$ per treatment and this amount exceeds other facilities. She said they would have to contact management and call me back to tell me what next. I was not called back, so then I called again on 03/29/2024 and spoke with *********** manager and she gave me the option to use remainder of balance for other types of treatments in which I agreed. She asked that I sign a paper since they could not find my original loan to reinstate it and that what I had already payed would go toward this reinstatement and that moving forward monthly payments would be the amount needed not to pay penalty fees at the end of loan. I then received a letter 04/02/2024 saying congratulation on new loan and when I called they said I had applied for new loan and everything Mali had told was not what was on new agreement. At this point I felt taken advantage of and disgusted with the way they have gone about resolving this issue. I didn't just decide I no longer want any service for no legitimate reason , I no longer want any service because of the way they have not done treatments right or handled this matter.       I purchased a tattoo removal package for 10 sessions and advised the seller that I would be moving. She confirmed with me at the time I could have my sessions in both **********, ** (my location at the time) and ****, ** (where I moved to). I expressed my concern that I wouldn't be able to use all of my sessions in ** before moving to **. She again reassured me I could use them in my home town of ****, **. It turns out Laser Away does not have any locations in ****. I am unable to use my remaining 7 sessions. I have called them 5 times and been told they'd escalate this to their financial services department each time, but I have not received a call back. I am owed $730.80 for the remaining 7 sessions. I only purchased these because I was told I can use them when in fact, I cannot. I was mislead (possibly deliberately) into buying a package I couldn't fully use.

      I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experiences Ive had with your establishment. On two separate occasions, March 12, 2024 & today April 9, 2024, my appointments for hair removal treatment and Botox injections have been cancelled due to insufficient staffing or the unavailability of an injection nurse. This recurring issue has been incredibly upsetting and frustrating for me as a customer.As someone who lives an hour away from your facility, scheduling these appointments is not a decision I take lightly. I meticulously plan around my work schedule to ensure that I can make it to my appointments on time. However, having my appointments cancelled last minute disrupts not only my carefully crafted schedule but also impacts me financially, as I still have to pay for the services despite not receiving them.It is unacceptable that there is no contingency plan in place for situations where staff members are unavailable. Your company should have backup staff or protocols in place to ensure that appointments are not cancelled unnecessarily, especially when clients have made the effort to schedule them well in advance.I urge you to address this issue promptly and implement measures to prevent future cancellations due to staffing issues. As a loyal customer, I expect a higher level of reliability and professionalism from your establishment.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution.******

      On or around March 6, 2024, I engaged with one of your sales representatives, enticed by what appeared to be a more reasonably priced hair removal package compared to my previous provider. This decision has proven to be fraught with inconvenience and dissatisfaction. The location of the ******* location is not only far from my residence but also situated in an exceedingly busy mall area. Commuting to this location entails a significant time investment, exacerbated by traffic conditions, resulting in a journey of approximately 30 minutes even without congestion. Moreover, my initial visit was marred by inadequate guidance and assistance from the front desk reception. Despite my ******* attempt to attend a complimentary face treatment appointment, I faced insurmountable challenges in locating parking, ultimately arriving late and consequently being unable to avail the service. Subsequent attempts to schedule appointments have been met with frustrating limitations. The available slots, particularly at the ******* location, frequently clash with my schedule, compelling me to consider inconvenient alternatives. Furthermore, the absence of weekend availability compounds this issue, exacerbating the challenge of securing a suitable appointment. Even when weekend slots are identified, they are subject to abrupt cancellations, leaving me stranded without explanation or recourse. The rigidity of your refund policy only serves to compound the dissatisfaction. Despite the evident mismatch between my needs and the services provided, I have been informed that refunds are not permissible, exacerbating my frustration and sense of disillusionment. Additionally, the lack of transparency and consistency in appointment scheduling is deeply concerning. Instances such as the unexplained cancellation of a prearranged appointment on March 22nd, followed by the scheduling of an appointment on March 30th without my consent or recollection, undermine the trust and reliability of your service.

      I have major medical issues , multiple surgeries and have had two recent knee replacement surgeries. I am unable to use the services at Laser Away. I have canceled this four times and they continue to bill me for NOTHING. Laser way keeps claiming that theyre going to handle this and take care of it refund my money and close my account and instead have now sent me a letter, claiming that I am delinquent and I OWE money for services I have never received Laser away has not refunded me or the loan for services never rendered. I want my money refunded immediately, I am medically incapable of receiving services, I have cancelled this multiple times. I do NOT want services at Laser Away. The sales person in charge is supposed to be refunding this account and closing it. She now doesnt not return phone calls, does not communicate with Laser Away staff requesting an immediate solution .and has done nothing to rectify this situation. My surgeon has told me I will be unable to have any type of service done by Laser Away because of my dual knee replacement and my multiple medically DOCUMENTED ANAPAHALAXIS allergies to antibiotics. Please help me get this resolved ASAP .

      I wanted lip fillers so I called the **********, IL location of LaserAway. The woman I spoke to on the phone is named *****. Me and her scheduled an over-the-phone consultation for 1/31/2024, which she said was free. During this consultation, she asked me to enter information about myself on a document. The document also asked how much money I make and the last 4 digits of my social security number. ***** didnt go over much information. She spoke very quickly and said that me entering my information was to verify my identity. She then told me how much the lip fillers were going to be. I never scheduled an in-person appointment for the lip fillers. Alphaleon Credit, which I guess is how the clients are charged, has charged me for $559.62. I did not get lip fillers or was informed I would be charged before receiving the service.

In the application which is emailed to you to complete, there are disclosures that explain the type of credit line you're applying for as well as the potential impact it may have on your credit score. Typically, these are transient changes. Unfortunately, once you provide consent and proceed with the application process, LaserAway does not have the ability to reverse the application or its impact. However, you may contact the credit bureau to see if there's anything they may do.
