      On 10/3/2022 I started a request for information from LaserAway on their website and entered in my email and phone number. I did not even submit the request when 15 minutes later I received a text, a phone call, a calendar invite. Over the next 24 hours I have received over 20 harassing emails, texts, phone calls from LaserAway. I have been blocking these numbers and new numbers then appear. The customer privacy policy on the website has an email address that I have tried emailing two times and there is bounce back saying the account has been closed. I would like to remove my information and stop being harassed by this company but there is no way to opt out or to stop receiving calls or messages. Their practices are not in line with current privacy policies listed on their website **********************************

      So here's the issue, there was some sort of promotion or sale happening around February of this year for LaserAway and since I didn't have all of the money up front, the worker that was speaking with me, ****************, told me about the refinancing promo. So I agreed and that was that. Now, I get to LA and schedule 2 appointments out of the 8 and then unforeseen life events happened and I was unable to continue with the treatments. Now I don't mind having to pay for the two sessions I took, I understand that and that's fair. My problem lies in that I still owe money for 8 sessions to Ally Lending that I shouldn't have to pay for because those services weren't rendered to me in full. It's affecting my credit and that's not okay.

      I will be reaching out the Ally Lending about this as well because at this point it looks as if Laseraway is taking advantage of this and has money for services I didn't receive and no longer want or need to receive.
      I want a refund issued to Ally Lending for the 6 sessions I did not utilize in my package, and I will still owe for the two sessions I did use.
      I think that's fair.

      As per our terms of service, LaserAway does not provide refunds. However, we did make an exception for you previously for the completely unordered package.

      For the rendered package, it will be different. Since we can only do a price adjustment, we will have to convert you over to single session pricing. This ensures that everyone at our 100 locations are paying the same price.

      We have sent and cancelled an invoice to you for the services rendered in a la carte format. They total $1,196.

      So, we are happy to issue you a refund of $899, or you are more than welcome to keep your original promotional package.

      I've been trying to get this loan cancelled and refunded through LaserAway for the refinancing business, Ally Lending, I received the financing through. As I stated before I contacted them several times, I kept getting the runaround and nothing was ever resolved. Now, here we are months later with this loan still out and because I refused to pay for services I no longer wanted or received there are now late fees for this loan that wouldn't have occurred had someone attempted to solve this matter with more seriousness and urgency. The current balance is $2,091.51, you said I would be issued a refund of $899 which isn't even half of that. I don't need any money, the balance needs to go directly to Ally Lending. I should only have to pay for 2 sessions. 2,091.51 minus $899 is still 1,192.51 which is way more than what 2 sessions should cost.

      Hi I called to get information about laser procedure the one **************** . ********************* I was convinced that I can get the procedure for a good price . No services at this point have been rendered , I am no longer wanting this procedure and the facility is making this like this is a jail sentence . No services have been rendered and any loan that was sent to them should be able to be sent back to the one who funded this in a 30 days time frame. I spoke with my parents and this is not something that i realized they were locking me into as I have never applied for anything.       I paid this business over $4,000 for laser hair removal treatments promised at least 30% or more hair reduction and after less than 6 months all the hair is back.

      LaserAway uses laser for body hair removal. I paid for 8 sessions that would remove at least 85% of body hair. During the last session, the technician performing the service noticed that the result at the 8th session was not what we had waited for and she mentioned that I should have 3 additional complementary sessions in order to reach the goal of 85%. She took pictures and submitted them to the right department for review. I also contacted the manager (*****) whom I had initially met and signed the contract with via e-mail and provided more pictures upon her request. After a couple of weeks, she got back to me with the approval of 3 free sessions and also I agreed to purchase 3 additional sessions as a good gesture (6 additional sessions altogether). I have already used 2 sessions out of 6 but found out today that they have changed their mind about the 3 free sessions that they had promised me through e-mails. I was on the phone with**************** at the corporate office *********************************, E-mail: *************************************************************** discussing the reversal but this person was very rude, unprofessional, uncooperative saying that they had made a mistake initially and they do not honor any complementary sessions to anyone and blamed eveything on my body. I paid $1,752.30 in March for 3 additional sessions when they agreed to give me 3 free sessions. ************* have back and forth e-mails around that date and it is obvious that ***** had submitted the request to the regional director for an approval. The final approval came in around early April and everything is documented.

      That is exactly what the company is obligated to honor.
      You performed an evaluation on September 10, 2022 that showed significant reduction. Nevertheless, LaserAway offered you a complimentary treatment later that week, and you declined the offer.

      I'm not disagreeing with your aesthetics comment but your own clinician who was about to perform the 8th and last session noticed that the amount of regrowth was way too much and took notes and finally after a few weeks, *********** (Your own manager) got the approval for 3 free comp sessions from your own regional medical director. I provided all the e-mails exchanged between ***** and I in my original complaint on *** portal. I hope you were given the opportunity to view those e-mails. This is not me asking you to give me free sessions NOW but rather your medical director approved 3 comp sessions back in April due to a very poor result and I agreed to purchase 3 additional sessions which I did.

      What is your logical reason to take back those 3 comp sessions (that your regional medical director approved) and decided not to honor them? In my 30 years of business, I have never done that to my clients. It is very bothersome to me.

      Also, I started this complaint due to the fact that the promised comp sessions were denied so why would I decline your offer. Your very unprofessional employee named *************** did not agree to offer anything. He threatened to hang up on me several times and did not want to have a conversation. I did mention to him that if this was his last words, then I would take other measures which I did.

      You mentioned an evaluation on September 10, 2022. Please keep in mind that on that date, I had already done 2 additional sessions (10 sessions altogether) and still your technician mentioned that some parts of my body had only achieved 55% to 70% result which is much less than 85% that I had been told.

      This whole thing is not about Sep 10, 22 but rather the result from April which prompted your regional medical director approve the comp sessions. *********** entered the approval and notes that indicated the 3 comp sessions into my profile in your system and she also included a screen shot of the notes from your computer and attached to the e-mail she sent me on July 23, 2022.

      You should've seen that document that I attached to this complaint. Please let me know if you have not received that and I will re-attach it. The note reads:

My wife and I have spent very decent amount of Money with your company and it is very unfortunate to end this way.

      I signed up for a 10 treatment plan for a laser tattoo removal. It's been well over a month that I've been trying to cancel the ten sessions and bring it down to the one session plan. Every time I call I get the same response, that the only one employee in the company that can help me is out of the office for a few days. They've been telling me this for weeks and she never comes in or gets back to me even with numerous emails being sent to her regarding the matter. I called two weeks ago and was very upset and so they claimed that they cancelled the payments or something with the payment company varidi but it's been two weeks and that company has no clue of any of this and doesn't see anything on their end that's been changed. They didn't give me any info and said I need to call Laseraway who once again said the only one person who can help is out of the office for a few days and to call back if I don't get a call back by Friday. That's what they did before and it took a month and me losing my temper for them to care enough to even give me a call back. As of right now it'll be two months very soon and I still have no clue what is happening and I'm still being charged. This is fraud.

      They did finally fix the issue after I contacted the BBB but they decided on their own what the compensation should be for wasting two months of my time and stressing me out the entire time. If you're asking me if I accept that response the answer is no. They know **** well what they were doing as there's plenty of reviews online about their company doing the same thing to countless others. Guaranteed if I didn't start filing complaints this issue would have never resolved. As a matter fact they lied to me and told me that only the person who signed me up can help me and that was their excuse for dragging this along for months because that one girl never showed up to work ever again. Since then I've had two people jump in and magically be able to help and both times were after I started filing complaints online. This is a shady business and their $100 discount for all this trouble doesn't begin to make things right.

      On Aug. 23, 2022 I paid about $1200 for a package of SIX laser treatments at Laser Away ****************** They told me that the laser would reduce spots and sun damage to my face since I was a "perfect candidate" for the IPL laser. I had the first treatment on Aug 23, and did NOT GET ANY RESULTS BECAUSE THE SETTINGS DID NOT WORK ON MY FACE. NO RESULTS!!! I called a few days later and was told that "corporate could call me back within two days". I called 8 times and corporate never called me back. On Sept 14 I went to the business and they refunded me only $730.30 dollar and kept over $450 for one procedure. *************** was the "customer service" person who avoided my complaint. THEY ARE SELLING SNAKE OIL TREATMENTS AND ARE OFFERING FALSE RESULTS. The fact that I called 8 times and had to actually go into the business to discuss my refund should tell you something about their business practices. They also offer a discount for FAKE **** reviews---another red flag! They are scamming and offering unrealistic result. I would never pay $450 for ONE TREATMENT of bogus laser that does not work on my skin.

      First of all, I was sold my *** package over the phone WITHOUT THE EVALUATION OF A NURSE OR DOCTOR. It had been several years since I had been in to Laser Away and my skin had gone through ******************************* Laser Away was more interested in selling me a package without proper evaluation than doing what was in my best interest. The settings obviously were not set correctly as I did not feel anything or get ANY RESULTS. I called 8-9 times and NO ONE returned my call. I had to walk into ****************** to be told that they would not even treat or test the settings again. A reputable business would have re-administered the treatment to see if the settings were properly set or done another area to see results. Instead, laser Away wanted to charge me for something that did not work or was performed incorrectly. It wasn't until I filed a complaint, called my attorney, and disputed the charge on my credit card that Laser Away provided a PARTIAL refund.

      Over two years without a proper evaluation on my skin is not legal and Laser Away is negligent.

      Once again. please refund the cost of the services that were not properly administered.

      Our clinicians assess prior to performing the treatment. If you were not a candidate for service, then the treatment would not have been performed. As previously discussed, our regional medical director reviewed your account and confirmed that you were treated appropriately. However, side effects can vary per patient as well as per treatment.

      Since services are elective and have been rendered, LaserAway does not offer refunds for rendered treatments. We have issued you a refund for your unused treatments but will not be issuing a refund for the service that was completed.

      I scheduled to have coolsculpting for my flanks and outer thighs which was confirmed not just once but a few times ...I financed 2,250 and when I got down there they said couldn't do outer thighs ....I explained to them that I was told that this is what I signed up for and then thane they said you have to choose another area ....I said that I wanted what I paid for and approved for. They said I can have someone come in and explain it to you. I left with only half of what I wanted. I have been trying to get a hold of the company....************* has given me the run around multiple times and keeps changing her story of why I didn't get what I was already approved for. I called *************** for 2 months and finally got through. He also claims that he doesn't have a boss and hung up on me. This company is a complete scam to take advantage of people and to take their money! Sadly, I found out after the fact how many people have been ripped off by them....i have read tons of stories like mine already and some even worse!!       After careful consideration, LaserAway will not be processing a refund of any services.

      On July 1, 2022 you reported to the Valencia location to begin treatment. Upon in-person assessment, you and the clinician agreed that the thigh area would require the use of the 4 applicators purchased (2 applicators per thigh). You consented to treatment and completed it that day, without raising any objections before or during the course of it.

      You are fully aware of what your purchase entailed, as a full invoice was sent to you on June 17, 2022 (prior to even entering the clinic). Aesthetic treatments can vary at different points in time, as a true assessment is most accurate just before treatment, day-of.

      The services purchased were fully rendered, and performed in the most accurate way possible. LaserAway does not issue refunds on rendered services, and you consented to this on June 17th, as well. Your full consents are viewable on the patient portal at www.mylaseraway.com

      So I called just to get a consultation. The biggest mistake of my life. These people end up calling you, texting you, calling you, all day long like a boyfriend that won't go away. They are the most annoying and aggressive sales people I have ever come in encountered... similar to a timeshare presentation person. Beware do not ask for a free consultation they will harass you all day long. And then when you ask them to please leave you alone. I had one girl that tell me to see a therapist.????? Her name was renate with a 520 area code.. Horrible human being... horrible business do yourself a favor don't bother with these sharks..**************...this was this sales person full number

      They did not bother to address the fact that their employee toldtheir employee told me that I need to get psychiatric help. I did not make multiple requests to their horrible business. They did that themselves periodid that themselves. This is the worst company I've ever had the unprivilege of knowing.... I liked the fact that they didn't even address that they have horrible staff members who act like sleazy car salesman, who constantly call you at all hours of the day. I had one day I had 20 emails from them. Don't do business with this company. They are the worst people I have ever had to deal with in my life...

      I was told that I would not be charged any interest fees. On my first bill I was charged interest fees. I called the lending company which laser away use ally lending. I was told lies based on being charged interest fees. I only had treatment from LaserAway 2 times I canceled all other appointments. I have been calling LaserAway 08/17 - to just cancel and pay what I owe which isn't 2391.00. I have 4 appointments left which I already canceled. No one has called back they continue to give me the run around tell me the same story over the phone. I just want to cut them off completely. First open 07/22 this and wanted this terminated 08/17 this company is a complete fruad no one should be forced to do anything also we should be able to stop services especially when you lie to get the services started. My name credit and money is being used and I'm so upset I did anything with this scam company laseraway. I only owe for 2 sections. The interest fees I do not owe that expires 01/24/24 Can someone help me please. I worked so hard to get my credit and name right this is totally ridiculous seriously.

      Thanks for reaching out! ********* loan purchases, deferred interest is typically offered in periods of 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, or 24 months depending on your purchase's amount. You should not have been charged any interest as long as your purchase was paid off within the deferred interest period and/or didn't make any of your payments late. I recommend contacting the lender **** for clarification on your account. Sometimes the statements can be confusing for customers and may appear that interest has been applied when it really has not.
