      I became a customer of ********************** in 2012 while living in *********. I made numerous purchases and received services at this location including laser hair removal and ***** injections. I was a repeat customer of their advertised "***** bank" which by their own terms do not expire. I moved from *********, ********** to ********, ****** in January 2017 and Laser Away did not currently have a location within the state. I was informed that my credits would not expire and I was welcome to visit any location if I was ever traveling. In early 2023 I received a call from Laser Away letting me know that they had recently opened a new location in the ************** area and that I still had 44 credits of ***** on my account and they would love to see me. I stated that I was currently using credits at another provider in ****** but would love to come in when those ran out. They again stated that my ***** credits would not expire and to call back when I was ready. On December 26, 2024 I called the Laser Away *********** location in *********, ****** to schedule an appointment for *****. The service agent confirmed I had 44 units remaining and scheduled my appointment for December 30, 2024. On December 27, 2024 the agent called me and stated that unfortunately they had "switched systems" and would no longer be able to honor my remaining units. I expressed my concerns and they stated they would escalate this to a Regional Manager. I then received another call on December 29, 2024 stating the Regional Manager stated they would not honor my *************** units and tried to sell me a package. I spent thousands of dollars at Laser Away and was not only guaranteed my bank would not expire, I was invited in to use my balance only then to be told it would not be honored. At this time I would either like a refund for my 44 units, $440, or I would like my credits to be honored so I can receive my services without additional payment.

      On December 15th of 2024 I spoke with ****** at Laseraway as I was interested in getting services rendered for laser hair removal. She Informed me of several promotions going on and had asked for my social security when doing the patient onboarding process. The process did show a credit card as an option however I stated I was NOT interested in a credit card and ****** informed it was not a credit card and would not affect my credit. Flash forward to moments after the call ended to receive a receipt for $6,938 showing Alphaeon credit account ****** followed by a hard inquiry. I spoke with ****** the following day who informed me she was going to cancel the charge and issue a refund for these services as no services were rendered. I also spoke with ******** who informed the account will be closed. Flash forward to today 12-28-24 where I received charge on my credit report showing I have a balance of $6,938. ****** from Laseraway still has not provided a receipt of cancellation but keeps informing me it is cancelled and no charge will be due. I did not authorize the opening of a credit account nor have any services have been rendered. I just want a refund for these services as again they have never been rendered and should not have been charged to ********.

      Thank you for reaching out to us. We're very sorry to hear about your experience, and will definitely look further into the matter with the salesperson. Our financing application and agreement are sent via a link so that the patient may complete it on their end without any intervention from the salesperson. However, it is important for the salesperson to thoroughly explain so that patients are aware and will take their time to thoroughly read through each section. Again, we'll look further to understand what went wrong here. 

      As of 12/31/24, you were fully refunded. The funds should have returned to you by now but if they haven't, please let me know and I am happy to further investigate.

      I paid over 4k for 2 treatments of thermage which was supposed to help me tighten the loose skin on my stomach. I was told I would see full results after a year. It has now been a year & if anything, my loose skin is actually worse. I came in to take pictures of the results and the lady that did my consultation told me that she understood my concerns and she didnt think that I got 4k worth of results. I, then, receive a call from ***** that tells me that he thinks my results look great & that hes sorry I feel that way about myself. Are you kidding? I told him that the lady that did my consultation for me, agreed with me as well, to which he basically called me a liar? I didnt necessarily want a refund, just something that would help me see results. When I asked if he could help me in any kind of way, since I didnt receive what I paid for, he told me to go buy over the counter creams and give it time. If that was the case, why did I spend 4k? I couldve just bought the cream in the first place. Then he told me I can buy another treatment, so i would have to spend thousands of dollars anyways. He did not try to help me resolve the issue in any way at all. This is also my second time submitting a complaint as nobody ever responded to the first one.

While most patients are pleased with their results, results can and do vary from person to person and range from subtle to significant. Because there are so many factors that can affect results, unfortunately LaserAway cannot make any guarantees when it comes to the final outcome but we can provide education and examples based on our experience. 

      Per the clinical team, I understand that you frequent exercise and changes body composition through bulking/cutting. While this is not the direct cause, weight fluctuations can influence the appearance of results. Although you may disagree, we were able to appreciate a subtle improvement when reviewing your before and after photos. We would consider this to be a successful treatment as our goal is improvement not perfection. 

      If you'd like more dramatic results, we would encourage you to receive an additional round, or try a more invasive procedure. We are happy to work with you to create a more satisfactory outcome but cannot provide compensation as results may vary.

      I have not been bulking and cutting. I was actually 10 pounds heavier in the after photos. My stomach looks worse now than it did before the treatment which has affected my self esteem a lot. While patients are typically pleased with their results, each person is different and results can vary.       I purchased a $4000 laser hair package and used pretty much all of the session in the package. However I have seen NO results from their laser hair treatment. I am extremely concerned that I have been scammed out of that money. I have called and asked about a refund and was told someone would call me back and no one ever did. Not only did the treatment provide NO results, it was EXTREMELY painful. So I am not interested in any additional sessions. I had purchased this package for laser hair removal, not for cosmetic reasons but because I have thick dark hair that was and still is painful to shave and causes extreme rashes after. THAT was the reason I wanted this treatment. My hair is still as thick as it was before and the amount has not decreased either. I am requesting a refund because I received a faulty service and one that caused extreme pain. No one has reached out to me from the company even though I have called. I am do believe i was scammed for a faulty service.

With laser hair removal, the results can vary from person to person as well as area depending on a variety of factors like genetics, hormones, hair coarseness, etc. On average, we typically suggest a minimum of 8 treatments for the body and 10 treatments for facial areas. Please note that each treatment delivers a fraction of reduction each time and will gradually reduce hair over the course of several treatments. However, every patient is different and a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed which is why we educate patients that additional treatments may be needed whether for further reduction or as maintenance.

      If you'd like, we'd be happy to bring you in for an assessment to see if there many be any other possible factors affecting your results. We offer 55% off package extensions which are applicable to single treatments or 3 packs. LaserAway does not offer refunds for rendered services; however, we are happy to work with you to try and create a more satisfactory outcome if you'd like to continue treatment or potentially try an alternative service with us.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I paid for a service that I received a consultation for and said I was a great candidate. The result are not noticeable and the procedure was EXTREMELY painful. Proceeding with further treatment is out of the question. 

      After further research on social media platforms , specifically tik tok, I found MANY women experiencing the same thing. So this sounds like an institutional issue and not a me problem.  

      I would agree the service was not rendered because, NO outcome or change was achieved. I demand a refund or I will proceed to arbitration and/or connect with other individuals who have also experienced this and we can do a class action lawsuit.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the poor handling of both my ***** treatment on April *******, and the subsequent refund process. During the procedure, the nurse administering the ***** made a medical error that resulted in significant right eye ptosis, a condition that required prescription treatment. Following this, LaserAway director ****** ********, agreed to reimburse me $190 for the treatment costs. I promptly submitted the necessary receipts and my mailing address, and in May, I received an email from your team stating that the reimbursement would take 4-8 weeks to process. However, as of October, I have not received any reimbursement nor any refunds. In September, I was informed that a check had been sent and allegedly deposited by me, which is inaccurate. I requested proof of deposit multiple times via email, yet I have been ignored over the past several weeks by Mr. ********* I posted a review on yelp and was contacted on 10/22 by ******* ********, who said I would be refunded. It is now end of December and I have no refund and they again stopped responding to numerous emails about the refund. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this issue, I have not received any response nor resolution. Not only have I not been reimbursed for a treatment error made by LaserAway, but I was also made to pay for a service that resulted in a medical complication. This is completely unacceptable and has caused undue stress, time, and financial burden on my part. I am only requesting a refund of the original purchase of the ***** bank was $1550 on 7/18/2023, not for additional medical expenses.

      Summary of Complaint Against LaserAway I am filing this complaint due to LaserAways unprofessionalism and mishandling of my purchased filler treatments at their ************* location. I purchased a package of syringes based on assurances from their staff, including the manager, *****, that leftover filler could be saved for future use. Despite this, the company discarded my filler, citing a 30-day policy for unused syringes. However, my first syringe was used well after *************************************** their policy enforcement.Additionally, LaserAway staff refuse to use a full syringe during treatments. Unlike every other clinic Ive been to, which uses a full syringe as requested, LaserAway staff are overly cautious, unprofessional, and appear untrained. They only use small portions (25%) of a syringe at a time, making clients return multiple times for minor touch-*** instead of completing the treatment as requested. This practice is a joke and highly unprofessional for a company claiming to specialize in fillers.The company misleads customers by selling expensive packages, making promises that are later broken, and then discards fillers or refuses requested services. When I escalated my concerns to management and the corporate office, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. Despite acknowledging their fault, they abruptly closed the matter, refusing to resolve my issue.LaserAways behavior is unacceptable, and they need to be held accountable for misleading customers, mishandling their purchases, and failing to deliver the services they promise. I am seeking either a refund for the discarded syringes or the fulfillment of the treatments I paid for.

      Thanks for reaching out to us. Upon review, it appears a few of our representatives have spoken to you about our filler policies. As notified, our policy is that syringes must be used within 30 days of its original opening. Since it was your first time receiving filler treatment with us, we made a one time exception to allow the extension of your first syringe since you had claimed then that you were unaware of our storage policy. After completing your first syringe in September 2023, it was documented internally that we thoroughly explained our policy with you to ensure there was no confusion moving forward. After that, you received a new syringe (2nd) in January 2024. Our internal text system indicated that you did not inquire about rescheduling the remaining portion until May 2024, 4 months later. For this reason, we were not able to allow an extension and cannot provide any compensation for the remaining portion of the syringe. 

      To address your other points, our treatments are performed by licensed and trained medical professionals who are either RN, NP, or PAs. Our clinicians are trained to provide a reasonable amount of product and to leave some product to allow the ability to touch up or correct, if necessary. We will always aim to fulfill the patient's requests but do not allow patient's to dictate the treatment. Each medical facility is different and may have different medical protocols when it comes to treatment.

      Thank you for your response, but I need to address several contradictions and inaccuracies in your statements.


      In my previous interactions with your team, you outright refused to believe me when I informed you that the remaining portion of my first syringe was injected well after the 30-day ****. Now, you are suddenly calling it a one-time exception, even though your staff never communicated this at the time and wouldnt accept my statement previously. This inconsistency makes your current explanation feel like an excuse rather than an honest resolution to the problem.


      Additionally, I want to reiterate that I never said I didnt want a follow-up appointment. I called multiple times attempting to schedule one but was unsuccessful. Your team told me that the 30-day policy would not apply to this promotion, which is why I didnt stress about scheduling before the 30-day ***** Youre now attempting to hold me accountable for a policy I was explicitly told would not apply in this case.


      From the beginning, I was promised that I could use this package at my own pace, as needed. That assurance was the sole reason I purchased it. If I had known you would enforce this 30-day policy retroactively, I never would have moved forward with this purchase. Your teams failure to honor the terms initially promised is both misleading and unprofessional.


      Your approach to treatment has also been substandard compared to other providers. Unlike other clinics where full syringes are used for treatments, your clinicians refuse to use more than small portions at a time. This overly cautious approach forces patients to return repeatedly, leading me to question the confidence and expertise of your staff.


      Let me be clear: I am not asking for anything extra or free. I simply want what I paid for. The remaining portion of my syringe, which you discarded without my consent, must be credited back to my account so I can receive the service I purchased. Anything less is unacceptable and feels like you are throwing my hard-earned money in the trash.


      Finally, the refusal to resolve this matter and the repeated back-and-forth communication, full of contradictions and excuses, reflect poorly on your companys professionalism. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate my complaint to corporate headquarters, file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and share my experience through online reviews.


      I urge you to reconsider your stance and resolve this matter appropriately.

Our team provided you notice previously and thoroughly explained our policies and that such an exception could not be made in the future.       Received treatment at LaserAway in ******* on Sunday, October 15. Laser on legs created red, raised, spots that were painful and caused swelling on legs. Reached out to the business for support and did not receive help (communications attached). Asked for the account to be closed and provided a summary of what I would be responsible for, if anything; have not heard back, email communications are attached. The original package was for $4,994, current balance is $4445.40. I would like for the business to respond to my multiple attempts to close out the account. The business has not responded to my emails or calls that have been ongoing for over 30 days.

      Hello, I called and had a virtual consultation with LaserAway about tattoo removal June 2023. During that time I signed a waiver and created my account through **********************. I decided after the consultation that I did NOT want to move forward with the scheduling. During that time LaserAway opened a credit line in my name without my knowledge, and charged the account for services I did not get. I had no awareness of this. As I had decided not to move forward with tattoo removal and instead said I would consider a facial. Again at this time I did not schedule any appointments. Per my LaserAway account, I have no appointment history whatsoever, I have never been to a LaserAway. Yet somehow a charge of $1,293.01 was spent by LaserAway in my name, and then the debt was sent to collections when I did not pay.Again I had no awareness of this credit line opened. There was no physical signature, there was no email confirmation or any communication to me about this account. The debt went to collections in January 2024. It took until November 2024 for a letter to finally be sent to an old address of mine (not the address in my LaserAway account), which was my parents home, and they delivered the mail to me December 2024. Because I had no awareness of this credit line, and have had only one credit card my entire life, I did not realize my credit dropped so much due to the debt I did not create. I find that LaserAway has shady business practices, charging me for services I did not have on a credit line through their company. I am disputing the charges and debt as I now have awareness. I went online and found there are dozens of women going through the same thing. This is wrong of them and I expect a refund and hope my credit can be fixed before I have to move. I would like the debt removed from my credit report and my name, and for my credit report to be fixed.

      To give you some insight on the financing application process, please be assured that LaserAway does not have the ability to complete this on our end. When a prospective patient completes an application, they are sent a link from the lender so that they may complete the application on their end and fill in all the necessary information. This application has the prospective patient's IP addressed attached to certify the application. Upon review, the application appears to be completed authentically in June 2023 with your corresponding contact information included as well as your Driver's License. 

      If you accepted the loan then decided that you did not want to proceed with the services purchased, this would not cancel out your loan. A formal request to cancel must be submitted within the allotted time (1 year) to LaserAway in order for the installment payments to be ceased and loan principal to be refunded. 

      Looking at your account, I was not able to confirm any request to cancel until recently on 12/10/2024. At this time, LaserAway is not able to cancel the loan agreement as it is past the allotted time.

      I reached out to laser away for tattoo removal in early August I applied for financing per their instructions and was approved I paid in full for the service and have been making payments . I advised them at that time that I had just been treated for cancer . They told me its was ok they just needed their advice nurse to clear me . The advice nurse called me told me to get a doctors note, I tried and told them my doctor would not provide it . They then told me to wait two months and they would treat me so I did . I called again for service and spoke to another nurse who told me I had to wait a year that was always their rule . I then called the *** who had assured me that if they did not render service she would give me a full refund. They knowingly asked me to pay and apply for service they new they could not give me .Its now December Ive called the customer service line they keep telling me someone will call me , I call the *** they she doesnt call me tells me she is working on it via text and they are just stringing me along making me pay for a service they cant provide .
