    I paid this company to move me with 3 movers. I paid $821 for 3 hours of work. The total should have been around $500. $154 an hour. I was egregiously over charged. The guy arrived and stalled standing around finding reasons to stall before starting to move my items. He was argumentative and wasted over an hour in total not working. His guys were also standing around because he was their *******. They werent allowed to address me without his permission. His name is *****. I called to file a complaint while this was happening but the phone service was bad. I called the next day and spoke with ***** who was clearly racist and even more unprofessional than *****. She told me she would refund $75 but Never sent the refund. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. This company doesnt have a website nor a real listing, not registered with BBB and have all their reviews hidden from the public.

    Our crew worked a total of 5 hours to complete your relocation from a two-bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs. While we understand you may have hoped to stay within our 3-hour minimum, the actual time needed was based on the volume of items and the access conditions at the property.

    The movers breached the moving contract- they lost our personal items like brand nee towels, and broke our personal items like *****, a bed, a metal safety deposit box, glass pictures, a table, Additionally, the movers stole $250 cash and stole or lost my box of desk items which included important documents, diplomas, financial information including paperwork with me social security number and date of birth and income information. Also in this box were irreplaceable items like my father's awards from ***** I had other paper items in this box that also have great meaning to me.

While we take all concerns seriously, the claims of theft, property damage, and identity misuse are extremely serious, and we must respond clearly. Your move was completed by three of our most experienced and trusted movers, who worked 9.5 hours on a full pack and move. These team members have been with us for over three years, have clean background checks, and no history of complaints. They are consistently praised for their professionalism and integrity. In a text after the move, you alleged $200 was stolen from your purse, items were damaged or missing, and that someone attempted to purchase a firearm using your email. If you suspect identity theft, we strongly urge you to report it to the proper authorities. No evidence has been provided connecting these claims to our crew. We also contacted you directly to discuss your concerns, during which you demanded $6,000 in compensationan amount unsupported by any documentation. This excessive request casts doubt on the legitimacy of the accusations. You posted a public message claiming Movers stole money and items... broke many things... hidden costs. This language is defamatory, especially given no concerns were raised during or immediately after the move. All charges were disclosed and approved before servicethere were no hidden fees. If you have legitimate claims regarding damage or loss, please file a formal written claim for review. We are happy to investigate valid issues, but we will not respond to threats or false accusations. We stand firmly behind our team and will take appropriate steps to protect our business and employees from slander or extortion.

    On 7/25/24 I booked movers and paid a deposit of $51.50 to be applied to my balance on the day of my move which was scheduled for 8/2/24 the quote was for 3 hours total at $139/hr, 1 hour for loading, 1 hour for driving (the drive time was at double and the distance was 30 mins) and one hour for unloading.On 8/2/24 approximately 1 hour was spent loading, I was informed by the movers that an additional 1.5 hours would need to be added to my 3 hour quote to hoist my couch from the street into my unit at my destination and payment was needed before the unloading could start. I paid ahead of time for this extra 1.5 hours of service, approximately 40 minutes was spent unloading my items with the exception of the couch. At this point a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes was spent on my move so far. After approximately 10 minutes of trying to hoist the couch the movers informed me that this was not possible and that I could call the company and they would send extra guys to complete the task at no additional cost. The movers then left having spent a total of approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes on my move. I then called Giant movers 365 and they informed me that they do not do hoisting only after offering me additional guys at an added cost to come back out. Giant movers continues to refuses to acknowledge my request for a refund of the added time after several calls and emails requesting a refund. Additionally, I paid a $51.50 deposit that was supposed to be applied to my total and was not, I am requesting a refund of my deposit as well.I am requesting a refund of $330.27 the extra time paid for plus my deposit.

    We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint submitted regarding the services rendered by Giant Movers 365 INC on August 2, 2024.
    Our records, including the signed electronic contract dated July 5, 2024, at 11:29 AM, clearly outline the scope of our services and limitations. The contract explicitly states:
    "Movers are not authorized to exert force to maneuver large furniture through constricted spaces, and we do not provide hoisting services. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us about such situations before confirming a booking."
    On the day of the move, we adhered to the agreed-upon timeline:
    1 hour for loading
    2 hours for driving (round trip, 1 hour each way)
    1.5 hours for unloading, during which 10 minutes were spent attempting to assess the feasibility of bringing a large sofa into the property.
    When it became evident that the sofa would not fit through standard entryways, the customer suggested hoisting it. As was communicated both via phone and on-site by our movers, our team is not equipped or authorized to perform hoisting services. This was not a miscommunication, but rather a reaffirmation of our standard policy outlined in the signed agreement.
    Despite our clear service parameters, we understand the customer proactively paid for additional time believing the couch could be hoisted. However, the total time spent actively unloading and assembling furniture (excluding the 10-minute sofa assessment) totaled 1 hour and 20 minutes, which aligns with the time billed.
    Regarding the deposit of $51.50, this amount was indeed applied to the total moving balance, and there is no record indicating otherwise.
    The refund request of $330.27 is not valid as:
    The services billed were rendered in full (including unloading time and travel).
    Hoisting was never promised, offered, or paid for in writing.
    The deposit was credited toward the final invoice.
    We empathize with the customers frustration, but the situation was handled in accordance with our stated policies and within the contractual agreement.
    We respectfully ask that this matter be considered closed, as our company acted transparently and in good faith at every stage of the transaction.
