  i had them move my things back in October of 2024, not going to make this long, for one they didnt move all of my things, and these were things i listed prior to them showing up, the excessive tape use, they ubered to get change and go get something to eat while my time was still running, then when they were done they told me i had a little time left over and it was about $80 worth, and said the gratuity was not included so i said ok keep the $80 and now im finding out it was actually over $100 left over that they kept.

Despite this, our movers worked efficiently to accommodate as much as possible within the available space and scheduled time.Regarding the 30-minute break the movers took, please be assured this was not billed to you it was deducted from the total time and covered by our ********** for the gratuity, we want to clarify that our team did not request or receive gratuity on behalf of the company. We were not informed of any agreement to apply a remaining balance toward gratuity, and this was not processed or recorded through our office.   Avoid Giant Movers! A Prolonged ************** Overcharge I had a terrible experience with Giant Movers and strongly advise others to stay away! I was initially quoted $480 for a simple one-bedroom move from ******* to ***********, which should not have taken more than 3 hours. However, this company completely misrepresented their services and ultimately overcharged me well beyond the agreed estimate. The movers intentionally worked at an unreasonably slow pace to inflate the final bill, stretching a straightforward job into a prolonged scam. A 15-minute drive was fraudulently rounded up to an hour, and by the end of the move, they charged me a staggering $1350- nearby three times the agreed price! To make matters worse, they caused significant damage to my belongings, showing zero care or accountability for my items.When I raised concerns about the overcharges and damages, the company was completely unresponsive and dismissive. This is scam operation that preys on customers by lowballing initial quotes and then charging far more than expected. Giant Movers is dishonest, unprofessional, and ************ yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs!

  We are disappointed to read ******* review and would like to provide accurate context regarding her move.****** initially advised us that she was moving a one-bedroom apartment and submitted an inventory totaling 404 cubic feet. Based on this, she chose our two-man crew at the hourly rate of $119.00 per hour, with a 3-hour minimuma rate and structure that is clearly stated verbally, in writing, and electronically acknowledged through our agreement. We do not provide fixed-price quotes; all moves are charged based on actual time used, as outlined in multiple email confirmations and our reservation agreement, which the customer electronically signed prior to the move.Upon arrival, our crew discovered that the actual volume far exceeded the stated inventory. The move completely filled a 26-foot truck, which typically accommodates the contents of a 34 bedroom homenot a one-bedroom apartment. Additionally, there were stairs and elevators at both the origin and destination, which significantly impacted the duration of the move.The job required over 9.25 hours of labor to complete. Given the size, complexity, and the two movers ****** hired, the final cost reflected the accurate time worked and services rendered. The claim of a $480 quote appears to be a misunderstanding, as we do not issue flat-rate estimates and have never quoted such an amount for this type of move.Regarding the claim of damages, we have no record of a formal damage report or any communication from ****** regarding damaged items. Had she contacted us, we would have addressed her concerns immediately, as we take all claims seriously.We stand by the professionalism of our team and the transparency of our pricing model. We strongly encourage customers to provide accurate inventories to ensure appropriate crew and time estimates.
