    On January 11, 2022, I placed an order for $11,064.48 with OPT Telescopes. The payment was successfully made, and I eagerly awaited the arrival of my order. However, it has been a wait of over a year, during which time I have made numerous calls to the company's customer support department, only to be met with unhelpful responses and no clear solution.Recently, I received an email notification informing me that OPT Telescopes has been acquired by Agena Astro and that claims will now be handled by a third-party vendor.I have emailed them and called them multiple times but still no response.

    Ordered a bundle of things from OPT. Order SHOP-****** had three items total. Two of the items were shipped after a few months delay. The third kept getting its ship date pushed for upwards of 5 months. I requested a refund at the end of the 5th month for that item amounting to $1,899. The item in question is a cooled camera bundle with filter wheel and filters, manufactured by ZWO. Its now been over a month since requesting this refund. Im very concerned that I may never get my money back at all. Folks in the email said they processed my refund and it would take a few days for the money to funnel back to my account. Ive now been ghosted by every communication. They will not respond to emails, on website chat, phone calls. *** most recently reached out on ******* as Im desperate.

    on **** ***** I made a purchase from OPT, part of the order I received, but an eyepiece for a telescope ($679 ) was backordered. on 5-30-2023 I contacted by phone ******* to OPT who said that she would refund the money, but has not . I have since tried by phone and email to contact Opt , but unable to get through .

    3/7/23 $1400 Shipping/$3500 purchase of telescope. I have a telescope that I purchased from OPT Telescope around August 2022. This item was returned to OPT on 3/7/23 for repair. The manufacturer is Sharpstar Optics. *** sent numerous emails and called OPT numerous times with no answers. Ive also emotive manufacturer who informed me that they are waiting on OPT to communicate with them. Im out $1000s. What can be done?

    I ordered a telescope from this company on 5/11 and received a confirmation email and was charged. However, order has not shipped out and I have contacted them multiple times trying to cancel and get a refund but have had no success. This was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift and I am going to have to just buy it somewhere else at this point. Order number is ******. Thank you!!

    To Whom it may concern;Ive been waiting for the *** ASI533MC pro camera since December 2022. I cancelled the order on May 16, 2023. No one is responding to my phone calls, emails and online customer support portal.By the way the above camera is available at other retailers. Please see the attached email correspondences since December 2023. I exported the emails as PDFs, I hope its easy to follow. Please help me.

    I have an open order regarding a Observatory Dome where I placed 1/2 cost down payment. The order was originally estimated to be delivered August 2022. Requested multiple updates and the latest was end of April for delivery and about (2) weeks ago I requested a final firm date no later than Jun 2nd or please provide are refund. Got response from ******* that the issue was sent to MGT on May 1st.I provided a follow-up about 1 week later that I was open to a date in June at the latest. About a week later without any response I asked for a follow-up and have yet to receive a response. The original order was made at least 6 months prior to August 2022 and we are currently in May 2023 without the item order.
