Overall displeased with my experience with Brake Performance. I ordered full set of rotors and pads online and I was sent parts for the wrong trim level. My initial deliver was also incomplete, causing me to delay my install. I had to have customer service check and correct the issue to receive the rest of my order. After conversations with customer service I was notified that due to the fact I ordered online that the fault will automatically be placed on me. Calling it human error. I cannot confirm or denied where the mistake was made so I could not be certain on where I could push back. If my memory serves me right I felt like the website pushed my into my shopping cart with asking my trim level. Hard to say at this point. As **************** was not that lenient or understanding, my advice is, if you work with Brake Performance be ABSOLUTELY sure of what you're shopping for and double/triple check all the details your order before you submit it.

customer had chosen a different trim at the time of order, we reached out to him and found out that his vehicle trim is different. He agreed that he will purchase new correct set in exchange once we receive the old ones back. We will in turn waive our 15% restocking fee as a good will gesture.

Rotors where the wrong size and I called before ordering I was told by using my Vin number that my car was a sport model and customer service was very adamant about my vehicle being a sport well when I placed the order and finally after long wait I received them they where not ment for my car and I obviously called back and lady was sooooo nice she said she email me instructions.. well I got them seems I have to pay for shipping 240 and restocking fee so I basically gave them more then what I paid for and it was there recommendations to get the Rotors when I called the customer service lady who was soo very nice became short and annoyed and told me I have to have some one else in that **** speak to you then I find out it is just one person and that basically the impression I got was we got your money if you want half of it back we still got your money I'm sorry but I feel robbed and I don't think this company should get away with this

Sorry about the miscommunication, Our sales department never recommends which make and model part number based on VIN, We always refer the customer to get original part number from OEM ( dealership) and then place the order so we avoid issues such as this, although in this case ***** placed the order on his own mobile device which we track internally. Please have him call our toll free customer service and we will make special provision for him to hopefully turn this to a positive experience.

The last two rotors of the 10 that I have bought had defective zinc coating. This is what I learned while trying to get a warranty adjustment. Brake Performance **** does not warrant defective coating. ** does not warrant defects found after 30 days. For a warranty claim, the customer is responsible for shipping both ways. The quote that I received was $80 one-way ($160 both ways). A mechanic has to certify that the rotor is bad. I estimate $30-$60 for 1/4 to 1/2 hour @ $120/hour. So, my out of pocket would be $190-$220 for a warranty claim. My rotors were about $250. The cheapest and fastest way for me to remedy the bad rotors was to have them resurfaced to remove the defective coating ($50). I also had to sand and clean my brake pads to remove the rotor coating that was stuck to them. I don't see the value of the ** warranty to the customer. The bad ratings that I see are all related to attempting ** to do a warranty adjustment. Of all the companies that I have dealt with, both online and local, ** has the worst warranty implementation.

Many attempts to contact the customer to rectify the situation, but no interest on his part! It seems he is more content to leave bad reviews all over and complain here rather than resolving and getting replacement as per our warranty guidelines. Please have him reach out to our toll free customer service to attempt to do replacement.

I requested a warranty adjustment from Brake Performance **** on 04/04/23. We exchanged 17 emails, and I submitted 14 pictures between 04/04/23 & 04/14/23. On 04/12, they denied my warranty claim and reiterated the denial on 04/13. After the denial, I had the defective coating machined off the rotors, sanded and cleaned my pads and reassembled the brakes. After this, my rear brakes worked. Next, I submitted reviews detailing my warranty experience with *** I received one call from ** about a week later. The ** employee stated that management told her to offer me replacement rotors because of the negative reviews. I declined the replacement rotors as I did not want to disassemble/reassemble my brakes a third time, and the replacements only offered a prettier appearance and not improved function. My rear brakes did not function until I reconditioned the rotors and pads. ** has continually stated that the defect was cosmetic. It was not cosmetic. It was safety, as my rear brakes did not work with the defective coating.
