      I would not recommend Sundance ************ We purchased a Sundance spa from Pool City a few years ago. Multiple parts have failed on the spa and we have been forced to pay $75 per visit for service calls. Pool City paid for one of the service calls (which we appreciate). However, they will not use their leverage with Sundance to replace the spa. The spa is a lemon and we are not looking forward to paying for multiple service calls as additional parts inevitably fail. In my opinion, Pool City and Sundance do not care about quality or customer satisfaction.

      I have replaced the control panel board TWICE in only FIVE years at a cost of over $1,000 each time. When asked Sundance says sorry only guaranteed 6 months each time. Sundance further chimed in "things just aren't made like they used to be so they wear out faster" Gee really? But your prices have more than tripled!!! Going to the junk yard now. Don't buy Sundance.

We sell only to retail. Are you referring to the store you purchased from? They are independently owned. Our warranty on parts is 6 months. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

      I purchased a Sundance Spa that was used for 3 months. My dealer couldn't get any new ones, so called to tell me a recent buyer bought a new home and was selling. My first spa lasted 20+ years with virtually no problems. This one is a piece of junk. The headrest fasteners all broke off, so no headrests, just the openings for the pins that hit your head wrong. Then it started leaking! Because it was "used" I could get no service under warranty. So I pulled off the outside walls to try and find the leak. The foam in the back was all busted out and shoved back in from the factory. I found the leak was one of the underwater lights--the part that screws in was broken. How? I ordered a new one and replaced it. And my dealer mentioned that they were having problems because the factory overtightened the light lenses. Then we had another leak--a big leak! Dug out more foam on the side and found another lens broken with water pouring out. My kids just handed me yet another lens that just fell off in the tub, so here we go again. The temperature gage has never been correct, low by about 5 degrees, so when I set it the first time, I got scalded. Now I have a floating thermometer in the tub. I would never buy another Sundance, just trying to hold this one together for awhile. Piece of junk compared to my last spa!!

      My first Sundance Spa lasted 19 years with regular routine maintenance and two pumps being replaced due to heavy use after around 9 or 10 years. I bought a second one and it has been running for 3 years now with no issues at all. This brand hasn't lost a step. The jets are better than any of my friends' hot tubs, but I'm probably biased. Super happy with my local dealer here in southern Maine.

      I recently inherited a spa and tried to contact Sundance for some information about the heater configuration. They informed me they have no customer support -at all! They referred me to my local dealer who wouldn't assist me because I was not in the market for a new spa. The one I have is about 12 years old and they "no longer have any knowledge of a spa this old." I asked her you mean to tell me when the spa reaches 10 years old, you develop amnesia? I was so shocked with her reply of "Yep, I guess so" that I just hung up and said never a Sundance again.
      Over look your customers, you've overlooked your business. There's an awful lot of negative reviews about Sundance they should take notice, but more importantly those in the market for a spa should notice.
      Pro tip: Consider a name change: Song and a Dance Spas.

      Terrible - unacceptable. After almost 3 years of errors such as 'flow switch is open" "heater is disabled" "flow switch is malfunctioning - your heater is disabled" "DO NOT ENTER the WATER - Hi-Limit temperature above acceptable limits" Come on!!! What do we need to do to get resolution to these issues after 3 years? After 3 years our sales person consistently states "I am working with the company to provide you with a new mother board" Really? When will Sundance Spas make good on this replacement? Please provide details on how to file for a warranty replacement spa and/or file for a refund?? Given all the other complaints on this page - I agree - time for a class action suit to get these issues resolved. Hopefully this company is not selling these spas to unsuspecting customers.
