The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On December 20, 2024, the Department of Justice filed an Indictment against Gemma Traya Austin, CEO of Page Turner Press and Media. Charges filed allege Gemma Traya Austin is in violation of federal law prohibiting conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering by knowingly and intentionally targeting elderly consumers through unsolicited interstate foreign wire communications, including phone calls and emails. It is alleged that Austin made representations that the business was a liaison between consumers and literary agents, motion picture studios, and popular video streaming services who sought the consumer’s work, and convinced consumers to pay for taxes, fees, or services before the consumer’s work could be published or optioned to studios, and knowingly and intentionally conducted financial transactions when no such offer had been made by the literary agents, motion picture studios, and popular video streaming services.
The matter is pending.

9.0 REFUNDS/TERMINATION
9.1 The author will be entitled to a refund less of $150 administrative fee or 10% of the total marketing fee, whichever is higher, should PageTurner Press and Meda commit any breach in this agreement.
9.2 The Company may terminate this Agreement for any reason, including, but not limited to, unreasonable delay of payment by the Author.
9.3 The Company shall not be liable to refund the Author for the availed service(s) should the fulfillment of the service(s) by the Company already commence, or if 90 or more days have passed since the full execution of this agreement.
9.4 The Company shall not be liable for any delays to the fulfillment of the Service(s) caused by the Author’s failure to respond and/or cooperate with the Company. Further, the Company shall not honor any refund request whereby the Author has been unresponsive to communications by the Company and/or uncooperative with the Company during the fulfillment of the availed service(s).
9.5 All cancellation and/or refund requests must be submitted in writing to the PageTurner Finance Team ([email protected]).
