      I reached out directly to *********** hot Topic in regards to an online order that was being shipped directly to the store. I was advised by Hot Topic **************** to reach out to the store, I called the store on 2/27 and was told to call back later in the week. I then reached out on 3/3 and spoke to the manager ****** who in the past has been rude unsympathetic of me being legally blind and weight shames other customers. She claimed that my order was not there I then told her I was following instructions of what **************** had asked me to do. She then went on to say that HT CS outsourced agents are idiots and stupid and don't know what they're doing. After being on the phone with her I informed CS of the nasty things that were said by ****** about them. They asked me if a district manager could call me back in regards to this. At around 3 PM 3/6 ******* the DM called me who I have spoken to in the past regarding ******, claimed she was in the store Friday while I had ****** on the phone looking at my order. She told me ****** never insulted CS and she was present. I then told her that was completely false and she was either covering ****** or she was not in the store or listening to the conversation. I explained to ******* all I wanted was to find out where my order was. I was not asking for any compensation. ******* seems to believe after my first bad encounter with ******, when ******* gave me a $100 ** as an apology to make up for ******'s unprofessional behavior, that I am fishing for more financial compensation-which is not the case. ******* also continuously tried to guilt trip me about the ** she gave me last year because she claimed to have paid for it out of her own pocket. when that incident had occurred last year and after I was properly compensated I truly believed ******* had properly disciplined ****** for her nasty behavior towards my disability of being blind. I feel like I have been harassed and mistreated by ******* and ******.

      Had a fraudulent charge on my credit card and never shopped with them ever. Called them right away and they did nothing. Said it was the one with the order could be the only one that could stop it. Great job fraud department

      MJ was a very extremely helpful person! Love here energy and engagement! I know who to ask for help when I need it when I pass by universal city walk.

      Have had orders drop without notice or repayment. Twice now have had to reach out to find why orders did not arrive then had to argue to get my payment returned. Not what I expected from a store of it's age.

      Worst website, payment system, and customer service ever!!! I placed an order on 11/23/22 using the saved pymt information that has been used on Hot Topic online for years, yet when I placed the order it came back saying payment failed. Yet I instantly received an alert from my bank showing "***** spent at Hot topic". No order was placed yet didn't hesitate to put a hold on my money in my bank acct so apparently payment did not fail! I called customer service on 11/25 (since closed on Thanksgiving) and the customer serv agents blamed my bank saying they refused the payment, if that was the case how did hot topic put a hold for ***** on my bank acct?? I told her to take the hold off right away, she said hold would fall off in 1 to 2 business days. Here it is 11/30 and still pending and can't use my own money! I'm a single mother trying to buy Christmas , this may not be a lot of money to most , but for me it is. No one should ever have their money held up by a corporation who's website and payment system is outdated and spotty. Way to hurt the little guy. I will never shop here again. I don't care if my 15 yr old daughter begs me for something from hot topic, I refuse to give them another dollar of my money. We will see if I ever get my ***** back;

      Please don't buy anything online from this company! I pre-ordered a purse on September 8. I was told that I would receive this purse between October *****. Never received the purse. I called on October 25 to check status and was told that they had lots of inventory and they would ship my purse out by Monday *****. No purse showed on ***** but I called them and was told they had plenty of inventory and would have a supervisor call me to give me more answers. Received a call Tuesday from the supervisor and she informed me that they had no inventory and didn't know when they would get it back in stock this year!! When I asked for a refund she told me she couldn't for two weeks because it might be back in stock??!!! Not only this company never communicated with me about this issue but are giving me conflicting information of yes we have it in stock to less than a day later no we are out of stock. Now refusing to refund me for two weeks. Wow really two weeks for a refund!!! Please do yourself a favor and don't order online from this company.

      Ordered 3 items online. Couldn't return in store as it's some policy they have even though it was all clothing items. I had to pay $5.99 to ship back. When the return was back in the warehouse I called customer service. They told me it takes over 2 weeks to process my refund. I don't know any company that works like this anymore. Everyone can return stuff to a store. Almost every business gives you your refund in a few days. I can't imagine they will survive much longer running their business like this. Right now they $200 of mine that I needed to replace the items I bought from them.

      When trying to purchase online, the order "fails", and says try again in a few minutes. It fails REPEATEDLY, but the company still puts the pending charges through EACH TIME!

      I would five zero stars. Ordered shoes with dinosaur prints. When I received the shoes, turns out they sent me some ugly pink strawberry shoes. Seriously? These were supposed to be my birthday present. Ruined. How hard is it to send what I actually ordered?!
