      On Saturday, March 15th, I attended the Imperial Valley Midwinter Fair. I walked around and decided to ride some rides, so I went and purchased an unlimited ride wrist-band for $50. I went to the first ride, and was told that there were no single riders, and there was nothing they could do to accommodate them. I went to other rides, and they all had no single rider signs. I was unable to ride any ride that I had paid for. When I contacted the fairgrounds within 10 minutes of purchasing my ride ticket and not getting the services I paid for, she confirmed theres no single riders allowed, and I was told they could not refund my money for any circumstances. She did not tell me any way to contact the ride operators, and it occurred on their grounds so that is who I feel is best to file against. I emailed them, and that email was ignored. All I want is my $50 back for the services I was not able to receive because of an arbitrary policy they didnt make clear when I purchased the ticket. I would also suggest they change their signage and make it very clear they dont allow single riders on their rides before people spend their money, or change the arbitrary policy itself. The current setup seems like a scam. I appreciate the attention to this issue. Regards,*** ****

      Thank you for reaching out to us to let us know of our customers concerns.  It is true, we have several rides that we do not allow single riders, to ride, for insurance purposes. We are restricted by our insurance carrier's requirements.  If the customer can provide a photo of his wristband QR code, we can determine how much he used the wristband and if it is true that he did not ride many rides, we would be happy to refund his purchase.  Please have him supply a photo of his wristband, that we can scan and check usage.
