      I've tried cancelling my alarm service 3 times in the past year. Bay Alarm did not cancel the service. I talked to them again today and they assured me that my service was cancelled, but I've heard that response before. Also, when I was talking to them today, they seemed to want me to go back and do research on who I had talked to previously and were reluctant to cancel my account without me providing them with a detailed history of my correspondence with them (both verbally and email). Steer clear of this company!

      During my time with this company we experienced many issues. They kept telling us lies to buy a new panel and when we tried to go to a different vendor they gave us a hard time to release serial panel numbers. Do not get this company they dont care about you at all. Spent like 800 dollars for them to fix a communication panel later finding out they never tested the analog lines ??

      I installed a brand new Bay Alarm system that required not one, not two, but SEVEN tech visits in the first year. Even the technicians thought this was outrageous, and one of them urged me to escalate my complaint and ask for a one year extension on the warranty. No dice. Apparently the company won't stand by their product no matter how deficient it is -- or how expensive. Bay Alarm is pricey, but I figured I would get what I paid for. No such luck. Buyer beware.

      Yesterday, I received an invoice from Bay Alarm stating that I had a credit of $160.76. Today, I received a cancellation notice saying that I owe a past due amount of $157.24. I called to ask why my "credit" could not be applied to the "past due" amount and they couldn't explain why not, but said that if I wanted to reinstate my service I would have to pay $318.00. What?

      ******* equipment, horrible customer service, incompetent on every ******** not do business with Bay Alarm. They will waste your time and money as well as stick you with defective equipment then charge you to fix their trash.

      I was a long time customer. At the end of May I scheduled an appointment for someone to come change the battery in my system. The appointment was to be between 10am-2pm. I called at 2:15 and was told it might be 3pm-no one notified me of the delay. Since I waited 4 hours already I decided to cancel the appointment and Bay Alarm. Today I received a final notice of overdue payment of $301.00. My payments have always been automatic on my credit card. When I called I was told my credit card payment was declined last October. All my other auto payments on my card were processed fine with other accounts. I asked why I was not notified and was told that many letters were sent. I live alone and I did NOT receive any notices until today. And why was I not told when I scheduled the appointment for the battery change or cancelled the service? . I have a very high FICO score and always pay my bills. This could affect my credit score as well as having to pay a $301 chunk of cash all at once.

      My apartment complex uses bay alarm, we have had a ground fault for the better part of 2 years that bay alarm will not address or fix. we keep asking for a quote to get this diagnosed and fixed however they do not provide us with one. they keep sending out techs and charging us for service calls and never finding the actual problem, then when we ask when they will fix it, they tell us how wiring and electricity work, as if we don't have the slightest idea, and never actually tell us how they can fix it. unfortunately, were stuck in a contract with this company.we have service call invoices which is ridiculous as the amount is $225 per service call, and NO RESOLUTION. the techs are not knowledgeable and most times it seems as if they don't even want to be here.I expressed over email to a service manager I was referred to by the **** number and our personal rep and come to find out the service manager isn't even a manager in our district!I have yet to get a quote from our personal rep, and I gave him 5 days to provide me with one.the alarm goes off all day and all night disrupting our residents and employees. We just want it fixed! The employees in customer service, technicians and possibly the entire company, do not have any care to do their job. They claim to be an alarm company, however they do not have any reliable alarms if they can't even seem to fix the wiring to their alarm system! faulty product and faulty service, we will be ending service with them once we have the ability to.

      Horrible customer service. Once you sign the contract and have your system installed, it is impossible to get a hold of them for anything else that you may need. They keep telling me they will get back to me (they said they have cc the sales rep ******** and I still haven't heard back in over a week. They pride themselves for being a local company with great customer service but they're the worse ********************** I ever had to deal with. You're better off having a DYI system. 3 years term cannot end soon enough

      They do not allow you to cancel. I would recommend this company to anyone.
