1 starThese people have in a report that my car has over ****** miles more that it actually has. They are asking me to do several task to correct an issue that shouldn't have happened in the first place. I still do not understand why these companies exist, collecting and reporting inaccurate data. I am not able to sell my car for the price id actually worth because the report is inaccurate. Silly business!Review fromChris K

1 starIncorrectly reported an accident in a city (********* **) that the car has never been in. My super expensive exotic will surely lose out 10s of thousands in resale due to this fake blemish. No other car reporting agencies list any accidents of any kind.Review fromBradley l

For me..A BIG WASTE. I bought a great running car 16yrs ago. AFTER i bought it found out was a Salvage but WAS able to register it after some paperwork. Now i want accident and Damage info. My report said A SALVAGE CAR, with a date of an unknown accident, 3 owners, registration renewals, etc. added upto 20 results. VinCheck gave me that info for free. Car fax had 32 results perhaps the extra $15 would've revealed what i need to know.. For me, wasted $24.99 for useless information that i already knew..AutoCheck

Hello *****,Thank you for your review.Experian Information Solutions, *** gathers information continually as it becomes available. The data we acquire may be for recent or historical events, and it populates as we receive it from authorized sources we have contractual agreements. As a data repository, we rely on the data we receive from our sources and do our best effort to compile as much information as we can from extensive sources to provide valuable information to our clients and customers. There are instances in which events are not reported properly or not communicated to our sources and thus we may not be able to have that information. In these instances, our best recommendation if you have proof of the incident is to dispute with the seller of the vehicle directly as they were likely aware of what happened. Please understand that per our terms and conditions, we are not liable for those instances. I'd rate a zero, if I could. Total waste of money. "Lien reported," but you can't access any additional information about the lien. Any car that was purchased with a loan will have a lien at sometime reported. Save your $19.99. CarFax gives more information.AutoCheck

Hello Gr,Thank you for Review. Please be advised that past lien information remains on the report even after a lien is satisfied, as the lien is part of the vehicles history. In a more recent title, the wording lien may disappear from the report as an indicator to know the lien in question was fulfilled at that point. Sometimes we may not have one reported as a new title may not have been issued by the state because of its restrictions for lien information. You may reach out to your local DMV to obtain more details about a lien and/ or to clarify if a new title should have been issued when the vehicles loan was satisfied. Or, the state would only provide a letter of lien satisfaction. In the case that a letter was issued, Experian AutoCheck may not be able to track the loan completion as it is not provided by the state; only after new ownership is granted to the vehicle. Hope the above is helpful to clarify your questions or concerns.Let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.Thank you, Experian Automotive Client SupportReview fromMelissa T

1 starAutoCheck Customer Support - Case ******** They claim to give more information than Carfax, as per their site. Not only did I find out from the report I had to pay for that isn't true, the FREE report from ****** gave about ten times more data. I feel this is false advertisement. Would not give refund.Review fromTC T

Very bad company, they do not verify facts. I had a potential customer that came to me with an *************************************** report that has stated that my vehicle was involved in a collision in March of this year. This is a false statement. It has now cost me a sale. I contacted customer service at Eight zero zero four zero ninetwo two zero nine. I received a case number of ********. They stated that they did not report this action and would look into the vender that did. I stated that it is in your report, you have reported this and published it without verifying any of the information. They will get back to me in 3-5 days they stated. The call takers name is ****, no last name, no employee number and no extension number. How do I call back and get the same person? This is bad business with no oversight. They would not tell me where they got the information as " it is "gathered continually as it becomes available." Gathered, but not confirmed! from anonymous sources. This is Defamation. Libel is an untrue defamatory statement that is made in writing.AutoCheck

Autocheck is terrible. I looked at a used car and the dealer gave me an Experian autocheck report. It said clean title no accidents. After I bought the car and got it home I saw a few things that didnt quite look right. I ran a Carfax report it showed four minor accidents with this vehicle.AutoCheck

Experian Information Solutions, *** gathers information continually as it becomes available. The data we acquire may be for recent or historical events, and it populates as we receive it from authorized sources we have contractual agreements with, if you see some accidents on Carfax but not on Autocheck is because those accidents were reported by an independent data source that only reports data to Carfax, if you look at the terms and conditions of both companies you will find that not all accidents are reported to Autocheck and Carfax, this is why it is everyone's responsibility as consumers to get a copy of both vehicle history reports and even to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic prior to purchasing it.
As a data repository, we rely on the data we receive from our sources and do our best effort to compile as much information as we can from extensive sources to provide valuable information to our clients and customers. There are instances in which events are not reported properly or not communicated to our sources and thus we may not be able to have that information. Please understand that per our terms and conditions, we are not liable for those instances. For more information, please go to AutoCheck.com for a complete list of frequently asked questions or to check the terms and conditions of the service. Thanks

1 starExperian will downgrade a score for a couple of missed payments from over 4 years ago in spite of hundreds of on time psyments during the same time period. They will also downgrade a score if you happen to have a balance on an account when they pull the record even though the account is paid in full every month. Makes no sense. Is not fair to the consumer.Review fromgil f

1 starI purchased an autocheck review for a car that I am considering selling and found that the data were 7 years old. No history was reported for ******* miles despite the fact that I had multiple dealership repairs and upkeep during that time period. A recent carfax report on that same car was fully up to date and I asked the experian folks about the issue. Their response is copied here...."As a data repository, we rely on the data we receive from our sources and do our best effort to compile as much information as we can from extensive sources to provide valuable information to our clients and customers. There are instances in which events are not reported properly or not communicated to our sources and thus we may not be able to have that information."My recommendation to anyone who will listen is to bypass AutoCheck. It was a complete waste of money.
